Good evening. I ordered 300 bricks. I returned 200 bricks. I am supposed to have 100 left but i only have 46 bricks left. I informed the ladies and they made a copy of the slip they further told me they will have to check the cameras and that they will call me back. Till today no response from those ladies. I called the shop again and was given a reference number. I was told that i will receive a call. Till today no response and its almost month end. Is this how u do business.

Been there today to buy a pressure washer. Staff not interested to help and sent us from one to the next. Finally we found what we were looking for on our own and tried to get further information. Guess what? Same attitude. We left. Will buy at Brights.

Great place to purchase all your DIY goodies. Large store, variety of items.Pity about the absence of staff. Im not the most skilled in the building department, so I often look for a store clerk to assist with questions I might have regarding certain products. Very hard to find someone, but when you do theyre generally quite helpful.Security staff at the door are friendly too.

Great variety of hardware, hand tools, power tools, bathroom ware, garden items, pool items, building materials and so much more. Really a warehouse. Great competitive prices too and fast and friendly service as well. Cleaning in shelves and around the building can improve a lot. Definitely worth a visit, you wont be disappointed.

Well stocked but cant find prices of the items I was interested in and assistance was a bit hard to find. I do understand less staff due to Covid. Otherwise great shop.

I love builders warehouse because it has variety of products for inside and outside of the house products including garden appliances. No sales people when you need advice. Went for advise on paint swatches for exterior. Spent about 20 minutes for help. None received. Left the store with a booklet that was not helpful at all.

I have ordered an Item a month ago onliune. And since then it said to be collected on 10/06/2021. To date I have not received a single update as well as no effort has been done to assist me telephonically (just get thrown around in call queues that times out) to get me my order or to give an update and I have already spent more than enough money on making calls and waiting in the call queue to be assisted. Please assist or get back to me as a matter of URGENCY!

Only a guy with the name Vernon give very good client service. The rest on the floor is useless whenever I need assistance.

This calls for an edit of my original review so here goes!My initial review was just the 5 stars, I didnt include any written body of text but because Builders was so kind to thank me for my review I think I should return the favor and go a little more in detail..So where do I begin? My arrival at their warehouse was pleasant enough, there was enough parking space, I managed to find a secluded enough parking area because I was embarrassed to park near the other shoppers incase my car refused to start. Which it did but luckily I got it going after 4 or 5 attempts.Upon entry theres an employee who sees to it that your hands are sanitized, with a smile and a warm greeting of course. Thats always a plus in my book, most other places the guy on duty look at you like youve come to spread the bubonic plague. Full points for reception, this guy didnt even blink at my dirty blue overall and oil covered safety boots.My experience inside the shop continued with this trend, the staff nodded at me happily as if to let me know theyre available if I needed any help. Ofcourse I did. I wasnt too sure which door handle would fit on my front door and sure enough there was a kind gentleman who showed me around, putting my mind at ease that Im making the right purchase. Which it was. Thanks for that!The checking out experience couldnt have been better. No long lines, I was standing behind another gentleman but then out of nowhere a cashier appeared behind a vacant tillpoint and called me over. Again a warm welcome and wishing me well on my way after I paid for my items.Only thing I was left confused about was where I parked my car because I went out the wrong entrance and had to walk all the way around to the other side where I found my car, and there was an attendant on hand to keep my car safe where I parked it, away from other cars out of embarrasment that it wouldnt start. Attendant guy noticed this and he was eager to offer help but thankfully I got my engine running.All in all, very pleasant experience and would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy anything hardware related. Long waiting time with no help. Their google closing times is also not correct, close earlier than google says they do. Came here a lot when I was younger. Dont know if there is new management or something but this place went backwards real fast.

We found all that we needed and more. Customer service provided by Zahier at lights department was absolutely amazing, sadly I couldnt say the same for 2 of his colleagues (luckily for them I am not able to name and shame them as I did not take their names on the day).

So for not a good experience, helpfull staff in store, but delivery is a big issue. Feedback and communication requires serious attention.National customer care has been helpfull, but this does not resolve the issues.

Great service and good prices, if they can introduce a payment counter in the builders yard i would appreciate, even a drive through like.

Was looking for a blade for a Bosch Planer GHO6500 all your salesman could tell you stock it not even making an effort to phone and find out where I can get it.

The website indicated there were stock of numerous items but once in store they were out of stock.Personnel did not seem interested in helping customers while many products had no prices displayed.I drove to another DIY/Hardware service and received excellent service.Give this Builders Warehouse a miss.

Be very careful of placing online orders. Builders will double charge your card, and then cancel the delivery. Once you go into a huge fight about it, and have to give them all the proof, then only do they sort it out. Then when delivery actually happens (7 days later), the drivers only come to your estate and then turn around. I have to call again to make arrangements for delivery again. Thanks, but you wont see me again.

Wide range of building supplies under one roof... I was looking for an adapter for the kitchen tap to connect my washing machine and found it there... very friendly and efficient service from staff.

It is precisely what it says:an Express store. But the atmosphere & product availability of items that sell a lot is excellent. The store is well situated & parking is great as well.

The Original real handy mans shop, a diyer can waste good time in this shop with its variety of tools and home diy products. It may be time for a revamp/re arrangement though, a bit of an upgrade

Builders warehouse have most of the hardware required by the DIY and most builders. They had a variety of castor wheels and I found what I needed. I was very pleased as the price was excellent. Couldnt find it anywhere else.

Worse shopping experience ever. Not only does the staff NOT know the items, the place is full compacted with only 2 workers helping about 15 people in a line DURING COVID. Really unbearable, not even to mention how we tried to exit and they literally have a Yard with empty parking that seems like an exit but its not. Its just a gate with extra parking. Like who tf does that?

The guy who helped me, did not know the stock, it frustrated me to no end. I walked out with nothing.I needed good security. He did not know what a Deadbolt was at all.Keys also with 4 levers.Maybe next time

Had a very helpful chap help me with getting my shower door to the car. Did not deal with anyone else, not scowered the isles, bought online. They have more things in stock than the terrable Willowbridge one, and the overrated Cape Gate one.

Absolutely PATHETIC service. The staff is clueless and the manager has no manners. Cuts me off when I speak to him. No eye contact. No respect.I had to go into the yard to collect a shed. Stood around for half an hour waiting for someone to help me. Eventually I was on top of the shelves in the warehouse helping them look because no one knew where my item was.Stood around waiting for another 10 minutes before someone finally decided to come and tell me that I had to drive back to the store and take the display unit.THE MOST USELESS AND SHOCKING SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED FROM A BUILDERS WAREHOUSE STORE.One star rating is too many.

The muslim man in the lights and lighting department was the best Ive dealt with at builders. Ive been buying products at builders for the past few months for a new home, but his tge beat Ove dealt with. Thabks.

Ive had terrible service after ordering a product online. The item was due four days ago, but never arrived. The online order info says that it is COMPLETED. Ive spoken to several support staff (not from the Tygerberg branch) who have assured me that the relevant people (Tygerberg manager or the person who processed my order) will be in contact shortly, but it never happens. Its very easy to talk to people who are willing to escalate the problem, but good luck finding someone who has any power to help. I just want the product I paid for.

Well stocked branch, but the service is slow to non-existence. Asked for help at the cupboard section and waited 10 - 15 minutes, this was after they called someone who never pitched. Every- time I go there, their cashiers and contractors counters are understaffed and you wait forever to pay or enquire about something. I am unfortunately forced to use this branch because it is within 5 minutes of me.

You can get almost anything but it is a bit cost compare to others

Unfortunately, the first cashier I delt with was way off. I asked for 2 bags of All Purpose cement, she told the dont sell such a thing. I then said any cement you have, she rang up 1 bag instead of 2 bag, Surecement. On collection, surecement out of stock,which meant I had to go and log in a return. Walk walk walk walk.At returns, the lady there, sent me back to collection, a member of staff should had come with me, walk walk walk back to collections, back again, and yet again to cashiers. How exhausting!

I have given this store one star but they actually dont deserve it. I am a huge fan of Builders and each time I have visited various stores I have been nothing but satisfied and pleased. The staff are always particularly helpful, especially at the store located at N1 City.I was searching for a workbench which I saw at the N1 City branch but they did not have it in stock, I was consequently referred to other stores. I then visited the Kenilworth express, enquired online as well as calling the Call Centre. I was then sent to the Tygerberg store which had the table on display, it had boxes packed on top of it and I enquired whether I could buy it at a lower price because it had obviously been used for the purpose of packing. The gentleman who managed the area was clearly uninterested and after being prompted called the manager.The manager then agreed that he would sell me the table at a reduced price. The table was already assembled and for me to transport it(in a Mk1 Golf, thank you very much) it needed to be disassembled.I then asked the gentleman to get the tools in order to do the job, (prompted again) so that I could leave with the table in a box. He returned after a few minutes telling me that the handyman had already left for the day.All he could have done was to ask me to come back the following day and have it disassembled before then.To my disappointment, he shrugged his shoulders and moved on. I am seriously disappointed, even as a woman I would have handled that better, I would have literally found the tool or thought of some way to make it happen. He was unfortunately not interested enough,maybe because it was 17h10 and knock off was at 1800 or maybe he just didnt care...

Too full. Did not stock the machine I wanted.
