A good store if you know what you need but I didnt get any help or assistance from anyone, so I just left after standing around and not finding a price on an item I was looking at.

One of the sales personnel told me that they need to order something I needed. I asked where is an alternative to get specific product, he said there is none. Googled the product and got it 10min after. If you dont stock something, give correct advice please.

Lots of hardware and friendly up front staff as you enter the shop, counter on the Left side as you enter must of been the manager as he assisted me with enthusiasm thats far and in-between when entering any other shops sometimes they think that they are doing you a favour , thumbs up to that gentle man that helped me he was a big guy and Africans speaking. One of the most unappealing shops I have ever visited, dark and dusty and suffers with a very poor stock compliment, often no stock at all. Yesterday they didnt even have black paint!.The place appears to be going backwards, there are better options in the area.

Well stocked shop with a wide variety of stock for any diy or small builder. Dispatch with inside stock and yard stock does not synchronize. HlI had to personally check to see if all was loaded. 2 items were omitted and loaded when requested.

Got all I needed however a few employees walked by me and did not even offer to assist me perhaps something to be considered

There is sufficient parking in the parking plaza. It caters for the disabled as well as able-bodies. It is in proximity with other food shops and barbershops abd the Virginias Active gym.Although they have less variety of products they make up for it with their inexpensive prices.Good client service.

Paid and placed an order on Thursday. I wanted to add another item this morning before the delivery went out. Took them 12 min to answer their phones. Was then told the person I dealt with only start at 9am.This in the building trade!When I asked them to add 1 more item I was told it is impossible because the person in accounts are not there yet to verify my EFT payment. That person will only be at work at 9.30!!Lousy service.

Good stock on the shelves. The store does need more lighting it feels a bit dark but otherwise a shopping experience for your home improvement needs

We visited Build it Cape gate today, and was walking around for at least 10 min looking for bathroom tiles, but could find it , so we eventually get 2 guys, sitting at the desk, busy with their cell phones, as we asked them where is the tiles, they said we out of stock and must come check at there rivals.!..... great service right!

I especially made a trip out to this shop today to buy a specific item that I need. I asked for an item that is advertised on special at the building desk, to be told that its out of stock. This was the last day of the promotion. I then enquired about an alternative option, only for the man to try sell me the more expensive one. Fair enough, I understand that shops run out of stock. I then finished my shopping for some more items, and when I went to the building collection entrance to collect, I saw a huge pile of the original product that I was there for. I asked the staff member at the back, and he said theres lots of stock still.The staff either need to learn how to use their computer, or they need to stop lying to customers so that they can charge more for their stock tomorrow when the promotion is over. I will not be back.

Is it difficult to update your business hours? People actually use it to determine when they want to visit. Luckily Builders is close by.

The store is poorly stocked and even if they had what you needed, no one would come to assist you. There are cashiers that are more interested in conversing loudly about their personal lives than how many customers leave the store without buying a thing. I prefer to pay more elsewhere 👎

After numerous attempts to get a quote from this branch and lack of response I eventually placed a 20k order with the table view branch.I have attempted to speak to a manager directly after multiple failed attempts to receive a quote and no manager been available to answer the phone I was left with little option but to seek assistance from a different branch who could atleast provide me with an email address that works.You should be aware of the poor service and assistance taking place at this branch and that I will not make use of branch in the near future

15 people in the queue, 1 till open on a Saturday morning at 09:15.

Was in the Willowbridge area yesterday and bought Build It branded bulbs from the Build It there. Got home and realized they were the wrong kind (screw in instead of bayonet). Drove to the Cape Gate branch today as its close to home to go exchange them for the correct ones. When we got to the till they said we cant exchange it there, we have to go back to the original branch where we bought it. Build It branded bulbs, exactly the same size and price - just a different fitting. Nope, they dont t exchange it because they have different invoice numbers from the other stores in the franchise. What the actual....

Prices are very good. Staff very helpfull. Did have some out of stock items which is understandable for this time of the year. Overall we will rather shop here than builders based on price.
