I had multiple issues with my bakkie after purchasing from WP motors. They eventually fixed most of the issues and even issues they found when they had it. So Ill give them credit where credit is due. The only issue is they had my bakkie for 5 weeks and getting any kind of update was very very difficult. Lets just say their communication needs a lot of improvement. The only way I got some movement in the end was contacting Philip the owner.

Visited late on this public holiday (16 December 2020) just to look at some of the bakkie on their lot....Was surprised when a door opened and we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful Riaan Mol who showed us some vehicles and got our details to help locate something appropriate. After having numerous issues with my purchasing of 4x brand new vehicles over the last 9 years Ive decided to give the 2nd hand market a try as I was looking for a automatic vehicle to replace my current manual - as city driving with a manual is not my cup of tea.I found and advertisement of WP Motors on Facebook and just being around the corner of my house I tried to give them a go.Once there I end up purchasing 2x AUDI Vehicles (2016 A4 S-tronic Sport 2.0TFSI , 2013 Q3 Quattro 2.0TFSI) from WP Motors with Johan being my sales consultant. Even though they have tens of clients per day and sell 100s of cars per month he went of of his way to accommodate and assist me during each step of the process with 100% dedication.There were a number of minor issues on both cars and they quickly attended to it with Philip the owner overseeing it up to the point where It looks and feels better than a new car.I will definitely recommend WP motors to family and friends and already referred my cousin whom purchased a BMW 320d from Johan, of which is extremely chuffed and happy about.From all my car purchasing experiences, Johan has been the most accommodating, helpful & friendliest sales consultant Ive ever came across.

We bought our car here from Trevor. We wanted a reliable family car as I was pregnant at the time. We have recently found out from a Hyundai garage that the car we bought had a part that was sprayed yellow, which they tell us means it failed its roadworthy. We waited weeks to get our documents from WP motors. Im guessing this was the reason for the delay. Not trustworthy.

My ordeal started last year November when i contacted the dealership about a Polo i saw on one if thier ads. Which the intention of buying that car i sent through all my paperwork at that time i was paying R3000 to mfc through an agreement we had for a previous vehicle involved in an accident. Instead of the dealership settling my current balance or load it on to the new deal they did not but instead my income was increased so that i could pass the affordability assessment and i was not made aware of this cz i stay in Durban they are based i cape Town.... The lady at the bank were the documents were sent to told me that the contract has a 7 days cooling off period so i can sign it if theres any concerns i can take it with mfc/wp motors, so i signed. 2 days later i sent an email to the branch and Trevor answered some of the things i asked but most of it was i will get back to you and he made sure he was never available when i phoned the dealership. Being unhappy with the service i tried to contact the dealer principal and without any investigation nor hesitation he said i was in the wrong and theres no bad/poor service from thier side, i remember cz he even threatened me with thier compliance officer and he told me to do what i must they have all the documents/recordings... Well philip i did take the matter further and i would suggest you get your compliance officer to look at my contract to be specific page 13 and my application form page 2 (income and expenses)Anyone thinking about buying a car from WP MOTORS especially if you are outside cape Town heres some advice we deliver anywhere in south africa actually means they will drive your car to you and say it was the convenient way. They rush to get you to sign but once thats done its do what you must. I didnt not think it would take this long for me to write a review but alot has happened i cant even put it into one reviewBADBADBAD

I went there trying to sell my car, they told me I could get a free evaluation and so I did just that. After they did all their checks they said they would get back to me. They did not get back to me. Calls to them were left unanswered and redirected. Could not get a straight answer from them. They are only interested in selling their own cars and dont know how to be upfront with their customers. Terrible service.

I bought a 2010 vw polo there in January 2020,the car had about 145 000 kilos on it.the sales person that was assisting me told me the car is accident free,and has warranty,and was jus been serviced..the car now has about 147/8 kilos and is signalling that its need service..I committed on their post on Facebook about the car,and they responded on inbox, trying to clarify the issue,I also raised some an issue of accident free the sales rep mentioned,I was told by the sales rep to send him proof that the car was in an accident,and he will take it up further.wen I tried to get back with the invoices of work done by panel beaters on the car they block me on messenger n Facebook..the conversation started on the 2020/04/07,and continued on the 08/04/2020 the day they blocked me....

My husband bought bakkie on 24 Jan 2020 cash.The papers would have been send to him on 27 Jan 2020.They gave him a temp license that expired on 13 Feb 2020.He only received the papers 20 Feb to our knowledge weve learned this morning the bakkie is not roadworthy anymore it expired on 2 Feb 2020 already now we have to do everything again to get it roadworthy.We struggled to get the papers for 4 weeks.They were willing to sell the bakkie fast but the service afterwards and still is poor

After 2 months of struggling I finally got my car. After sales service non-existent though. Tried communicating with them several times but its like pulling teeth. They just dont get back to you. Got to the point where I just gave up and moved on.Edit based on your reply:Your comment on me insisting that I only wanted the GWM is not truthful. Initially yes, I was interested in buying the GWM but as issue after issue arose I was no longer interested. I on several occasions with emails and whatsapps to Trevor told him that I am not happy with the issues with the car and would like to cancel the contract but he continuously tried to convince me to take the GWM. You guys drew the process out to my frustration especially because of the lack of communication on your side and that you never got back to me after Ive tried several times through calls, whatsapp and emails to get hold of you. As to your point about loaning me a vehicle: You never could deliver the vehicle I initially was interested in to begin with. After 6 weeks you guys pitched up with the GWM that you had to collect again the following morning due to more mechanical issues. Furthermore, you advertised my vehicle for R210k but when arranging the finance the agreement stated R240k (including the added insurance of R10k). At that point I just wanted my dealings with you to be over because of the dragged out frustration.After the sale I however tried to contact Trevor again several times to get feedback on some issues, now 2 months later he responds?- There was a major lack of communication from your side and in most cases you never got back to me- You overcharged me (West Bank even said that the car was R10k above the market value)You will unfortunately not own up and will probably have an answer to each of my above points where to be honest Im not going to respond to, its just not worth my time. As per the review however, that was my experience when dealing with you guys and I simply cannot recommend you to anyone in the market for a second-hand car.So to anyone interested in supporting them, be wary. Make sure you know what youre getting yourself in to. Hopefully your experience would be better than mine.
