Small shop but they have some BIG guns! With tons of knowledge and soo helpful, this is the kind of bicycle store that would literately go out of there way to help you out. Melkbos cycles supported our team at the Cape epic in 2018 and if it wasnt for there constant support and making absolutely sure about our bikes readiness after each stage we wouldnt have made it. YOU JUST DONT GET THAT KIND OF SERVICE FROM ANY SHOP! ;)

They are the best technicians. Every job done 110%. I service both my bike with them and every time Im more than satisfied. They are friendly and always give the best advice. I recommend them. I have never got someone that can set gears so perfectly as they do. They sure know what they do.

I was on a ride from Milnerton to Melbosstrand when my gears began slipping. Being on holiday & in a foreign area, I was nervous & uncomfortable thinking of my return trip.I approached the manager at Melkbosstrand & explained my predicament and the fact that I had not carried my wallet & was in no position to pay. Without hesitation, he asked his mechanic Nigel to assist. Nigel was excellent & within a short time had resolved my problem I had a pleasant & safe trip back home.A big shout out to Management & staff of Melkbosstrand Cycles. It is good to know that there are kind & helpful people still in this world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Took my new 2nd hand bike in this morning, asked Riaan to give it a once over just for my own peace of mind. Got really good and practical advice.So often it feels like bicycle shops are just in it to make a buck, but I didnt get that feeling here. The approach is pragmatic and feels honest, which I appreciate.

Excellent service and a great team. I took my century (or more) old bike in for a full service and it came out looking and feeling brand new.
