I had a good experience at Helderberg Cycle world. I walked in first thing in the morning without a booking for any repairs and was immediately attended to without hesitation. My bike is now running smoothly. The live tracking system for workshop repairs was helpful in keeping me updated about the progress on my bike.

Great service, kind people and now with their own local coffee shop! Providing just the perfect caffeine kick every cyclist needs with some small energy snacks on the side. Make sure to visit them, where all bicycles are treated with respect and care.

Very helpful on more than one occasion when I was looking for spares.

Be very careful. You get invoiced for services/parts even when not accepting this on their app. After proving that items were not approved, prior to work being done, the sly owner still makes excuses not to refund monies. Just take your bike somewhere else to avoid dealing with these crooks. Pathetic really, and this is not the first time they have done this by reading their reviews.

3 months ago I bought a Specialized bike for the first time. Was impressed at first and didnt ride it hard and the pedal stripped from the arm and I was not impressed. Expected higher quality parts to be fitted for the price tags they have.But otherwise friendly staff.

I have been taking my bikes there for years now. Its a little pricy but I CANT COMPLAIN about the qaulty of service of staff and the bikes services. EXCELLENT KEEP IT UP.

I boooked my bike in for a service and was very disappointed with the entire experience. Upon collecting my bike the amount due was much higher than I anticipated - no one phoned me to inform me what is being done and replaced etc. So I was shocked when I had to pay R1400 and I was expecting a R350 bill! My bike was also not clean, it still had mud on the seatpost and on the frame - my 9 year old son does a better job washing my bike! But I told myself that at least it is in working order now. Two days later I did a MTB race and almost crashed when my rear brakes were not working. On closer inspection, I saw that my break pads were done! I had no breaking surface on the rear brakes! Very dangerous! One would that is a simple thing a bike mechanic would check and replace during a service! Overall a very disappointing experience, and I will not return or recommend it to anyone.
