⛱️ A nice beach on my way to Simon`s Town. Clear water, an opportunity to take a bath in the Indic, making a rest and enjoying the dunes close to the beach along the Baden Powell Drive (R310)

Toilets need to be maintained. Not very wheelchair friendly. You dont feel comfortable leaving your car in the parking lot. The pool is a very safe place for children. You can always keep your eye on them. Regular patrols by law enforcement. Life guards on duty.

Loving water? See for yourself, i recommend it

Nice place... Not preferred by many though, looks like one of those beaches the City has forgotten about.

This once bright star on the False Bay coast has now been reduced to a slum. What a pity that this was allowed to happen. It has so much potential.

Very chilled out space with a tidal pool that rocks my world at the moment

Tidal very clean,amenities open and very very clean when I took my family here,grand kids had a absolute ball of a time.

Water was cold fishng was slow but fun was had by all

Great outdoors. The water on the Indian Ocean is is warm for those who love to swim. Easy parking too.

My summer days

Dont just swim & tan, book a surfing lesson with 9Miles Project based at Strandfontein Pavilion R350 a lesson includes board & wetsuit rental. A great way to combine having fun learning a new skill while supporting local entrepreneurs operating an NGO. A win-win situation in the Southern Suburbs.

A very nice stretch of beach adjacent on both sides of Strandfontein Pavillion with the side going towards Muizenberg very popular for anglers and fishermen.Kept in excellent condition it is a good place to enjoy oneself. Generally there are ample Lifeguards on duty, but best is to swim where they are.Lots of parking either at the Pavillion or at certain enclosures.
