Its beautiful. Nice place to chill

One thing I dont like about this place is the public toilets are closed in the evenings. I really think they should have a look at this and have some way or means for the public to use the rest rooms. On the other side the view is mind blowing and it is for young and old.

Nice beach with small sandy area. More rocky of nature with a tidal pool. Kids love exploring here. Little bit of Grassy area, gets quite full during summer.

Sunset swim and shake off the day in the tidal pool.Great place to ground yourself and start a afternoon skate from on the promonade.

Nice space and view but too rocky to play in water which is not safe for kids . Remarkbly a good site for walks and jogging. Have lots or playing sites for kids

Amazing views and good food, shells are all over the beach and you can readily enjoy the various cultures of South Africa here.

Nice spot but tou cant really get in the sea.

Love this boardwalk area of the beach, has some great spots for kids to play and generally quick/easy parking. It also feels very safe. Gave it 4 stars However, because the bathrooms have no toilet paper but thousands of condoms! Keep that in mind to come supplied when you come with children.

Kids need a good run around? Heres the place for you. Along the beach front theres plenty of opportunities to let them loose on a playground, at the beach at low tide you can explore the rock pools, sometimes youll see some surfers in the back lines catching a few waves or just chilling on their board. However I recommend swimming here at your own risk as when the tides change the rip currents become very strong and sadly lives have been lost from the beaches around sea point.

The Sea Point Promenade never fails to recharge your body mind and soul. Special place. Great for walking, jogging and cycling. All day, all year, but especially around sunrise and sunset. Dog friendly. 🤗

Great place to park and enjoy a walk along the promenade. The kids can play on one of the play areas or run on the grass. Its also cool for taking the bikes out or going for a flat run. Be careful when the wind is up though, it can get quite chilly.

Only reason its 3 star is because it seems like it doesnt get cleaned at all🤷🏽‍♂️

It was lovely to see the sun coming up.There were a few people on the beach.The beach was nice and clean and all the seaweed was in piles ready to be taken away.A great spot for a early morning walk.A great place to bring the kids in the morning before the beach gets busy.

Kids always enjoy themselves, park is always nice and clean.

Plenty of space here, close to public conveniences with a nice tidal pool to keep cool in, BUT the sand/shell isnt suitable for sand castles etc and it leaves a powdery white substance on the skin. Children will enjoy themselves though, exploring the rocky shoreline and pools.

Excellent place, really nice. Most recommended.

Amazing landscapes, very very beautiful. This beach stays in the Sea Point, a trendy place in Cape Town. The beaches from this coast are rocky, what makes them unique. Good place to see the sunset, there is a lot of stools in the boardwalk. Really pretty sights.

It was great. The tide was out so it was perfect for my 2 year old grandson. Some litter on the beach though.

Great family location! Kids can swim or jungle Jim. Lovely grounds close by to picnic while watching the ocean or taking the dog for a walk. Also close by are rented bicycles and a ice cream shop.

....Its alway an enjoyable experience when you spend your available time of relaxation here. It never disappointing! The fare sized Tidal Pool is justAwesome especially when the tide is high, cause clean fresh water fills the pool.....

As usual this is a very popular promanade with locals and tourists alike. Way to many vagrants though which use this beach as a toilet when there are free facilities all along the strip in the day time. Needs a cleanup

Not exactly a beach to hangout at, but nothing wrong taking a walk/jog and listening to the sound of the waves.

Our son had an absolute blast playing on the jungle gym, chasing pigeons and patting friendly dogs while we walked along the beachfront.

Enjoyable and secure place no criminal activities around the place,And also public bathroom around is very interesting

Lovely beach with few people during April. Great for collecting shells. It seems that the South Africans don’t do this, as there were shells everywhere.

Need to upgrade grass. But nice place to go for run with kids or dogs..

Dog friendly beach opposite the Shell garage. I wouldn’t swim here though, it’s rocky and there’s a lot of kelp so it’s not safe unless, of course, you have gills unlike the rest of us.This beach is popular with kayakers and they ‘park’ their kayaks at a storage facility just beneath the road. This is not very descriptive but 🤷🏾‍♀️ . Go see for yourself...The best part though is the outdoor gym on the lawns a couple of meters away. The guys have abs, do handstands on the monkey bars; and make a great display of showing off their finely finely chiseled masterpieces for bodies. Everyone is welcome of course. But be prepared to pick your jaw off the floor and water the lawns with your drool.

Well it was best just to take a walk there.. Refreshing as well since the beach is well taken care of its also clean you also get random entertainment on as well as there will be people practising their martial arts and all.its great
