Id been wanting to go to Beerhouse since before i even got to Cape Town. It was awesome! Will definitely be returning.

First and probably (unfortunately) last time I have been. Food was good. Ordered an Oink Oink pizza which had loads of spare ribs gristle? And beers were good except that they doubled up on some of the varieties and we had to TWICE ask for clean glasses?! Considering that the restaurant was fairly empty more attention should be given to hygiene, especially during COVID 19 days... I really enjoy my craft beer but was left disappointed in the overall experience.

Great place for good beers. 25 beers on tap hey. Its on the long street and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Huge open plan venue ..stopped in for a quick beer. Had their house ale very nice. Like the beer tasting options available.

Bad service. No one around when we arrived. Had to go downstairs again to try and find someone. Advertising Happy Hour specials that apparently existed before first lockdown, but still on the wall? Barman extremely unfriendly. Dirty table, not following Covid protocols with cleening tables in between patrons. Wont see me again, lots of competition in the area.

Had Pizzahouse pizza as it is the most popular on the menu. Crust is thin base which is great but it could be more crispy. The topping is really good with extra feta, very tasty. It is undersized though, should be larger.

After arriving in South Africa and checking out some of the local area we stumbled across the Beer House. Just what was required. They have a great selection of home brewed beer and some others from around the world. We also stayed and ate on the balcony overlooking Long Street. The menu is basic but good quality, and all the staff are happy smiley people.

Bit of a long wait for our drinks and food even though it was not very busy. Burgers are good (they do make them at medium rare asked for a medium to well done, cause dont want to see pink, burgers came back medium but too hungry and had been waiting so just went with it)

Friendly crowd and tasty beers. Lovely sunny balcony for brunch. 😎 Liven up the tastebuds by adding cordial for a fruitier flavour. 😋👌🏽

Always make time to come here for a beer or 4 when I am in Cape Town. I like the tasting options. Nice and clean. Also good to watch some sports.

Was a very nice outing with my boyfriend. It wasnt too busy and our waiter was really on top of his game. We have never been disappointed when popping in at Beerhouse 🍻. We love sitting on the balcony and do a little people watching 👀. The kitchen also stays open pretty late and my love was able to enjoy a nice 🍔 burger while I stole his chips 🍟 😊

Great place to hang out and down one or six..they have not fully stocked up like in pre covid times, might take a while, but still a good hangout spot

Most definatly one of the Best places I have been for my whole 16 day Vacation. Beerhouse on long even topped my table mountain experience. Beerhouse on long is most definatly my 7th world wonder! Great food, Good variety of Beer and Excellent service! Thank you

I have 99 problem but a beer aint one! The selection of beers available is fantastic and heres something for everyones taste. The service is great and the food is the perfect accompaniment for the beer of offer. Must try is definitely the Beer Float!

Ive stopped by Beerhouse twice for late lunch and cold beers. The have a great selection of beers on tap and a nice outdoor patio. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and an order of Wings. Both were tasty.The staff is really friendly and helpful, but they need to step up their beer knowledge a bit. The good news is the menu has descriptions about all their beers from light to dark.They also have nightly specials. Ill be sure to stop in again and you should too. Beer makes people happy.

This quickly became a favorite in Cape Town! My friends came through for dinner and beer and ended up with a flight of 12 samples each (yep, that did the trick!) and playing bingo in the back. What a night! Felt like college 🤙🏼They have different events/themes each night including karaoke, trivia, bingo, etc. we will definitely be back.Good food, friendly and quick service, a great atmosphere, and AWESOME BEERS! Although didn’t love the sweet ones on the rack...The food my buds got were good too! Chicken wings, Mac n cheese with jalapeños (nice n spicy), oily onion rings, and taco Tuesday (looked a bit hard to eat since they were really saucy).

A large selection of beers to choose from. The live music was great. Loved the mix of people and the happy friendly vibes. The dance floor was supper fun. Awesome dance music from a wide range of dance styles. Lots of fun dancers on the floor. Had a really great time and we werent even planning on staying long.

Good live band and DJ afterwards. Nice vibe.

Lovely place situated in the heart of Long street. It has a huge amount of beer options and also food. Music was nice and not too loud. I love drinking from the varanda watching the world moving

No covid regulations, no masks required at all as all patrons removed it after entering. Patrons also smoked inside after the doors was closed to the balcony. Not a safe environment

One of my favorite places in CPT. There is a great mix of a bar, tables and a dance floor, inside and outside seating, cool venue. There is a large selection of beers at good prices, the Lagers were my favourite. They also have events like comedy nights, karaoke, quiz nights and things like that.

If you like beer this is the place to go. This colorful building is across the street. Also interesting people watching but our guide told us NOT to go in the evening.

One of my favourite bars in Cape Town. Fun, friendly vibe. Huge choice of beers on tap and in bottles, which change regularly so you dont get bored. Good spot to meet up with friends or just a place to go to and hang out at to meet new people. Usually also a nice place to meet up with other travellers due to its great location in Long Street. They often host events such as quiz nights and always show the best sport!

Good vibe all and all. Just also irratated that one has to pay after each drink ordered. There is no open bar tab. Also, there was no draft beer left. Big let down!!!

This is a good place to jump on the craft beer train that took the world by storm. Known for their 99 beers, 25 taps, there is a beer for everyone, as well as beverages for those who are not hops happy. As if this is not enticing enough, the servers are also very friendly and knowledgeable about what they offer. All in all, this is place is definitely worth a visit.

Great beer selection, great service, location and decoration. I ordered a burger which looked delicious but it was extremely greasy. The same for the meatballs - super greasy . I wouldnt recommend for locals, who have a variety of incredible food places around and beer bars, but definitely recommend for tourists who dont have time to try all the varieties in town.

Soooo fun, the waiters remained friendly and attentive, despite the place getting busy. Would recommend for beginner beer drinkers too, they had a tray of 12 tasters, its a fun way to play with beer and figure out your palate!

Great beer selections. Took a weekend trip and stop by to try their beers. They do have multiple wheat beers to choose. Amber Weiss is probably the nicest one but it depends on personal taste. Highly recommended.

Just an Okay place, not too clean and has an empty space that looks like a dancing hall. The balcony facing the road is used for a sit out place. Not a high end place.

Really has gone downhill from the last time we had been there, as has the whole of Long Street. No upkeep done, waitress wearing mask under chin, wife went to loo and toilet seat was broke and had no toilet paper.

Great set up. Our waiter wasnt the most enthusiastic of people, however warmed up towards the end. Weve noticed that your company uses plastic straws instead of biodegradable ones. Save the environment!

They have tons of amazing bears on tap and they allow you to taste before you order (which is always a nice touch). You can also order flights of beer to explore your palet. The food is standard bar food. I would charichterize the atmosphere as a mix between a beer garden and a sports bar.

Always loved beer house but wont return after tonight. Theres 4 tables with people the rest is all empty. Most quiet place in long street. Ordered a drink at the bar and asked for a menu for food. 30minutes later had to go back and ask again. Got the menu waited 30minutes nobody came back. Went to the bar asked for service. Waited 15min nobody came back. Paid for the drinks and left. Only 16 people in the entire bar. Unbelievable!!!

Take note that you are not allowed to take any alcohol outside of the building; thus, you are not allowed to buy craft beers and take it home. You have to drink it on the premises. Bummer 😕
