I cant comment on the food or beverages, but I can comment on the service. I was on my way to Vida for a cup of coffee, saw this place and thought, wow this place looks amazing, and wanted to try a new place. I went in, asked one of the waiters how it works do i sit down or got the counter to order coffee, where he said, no sit down we will come to you, after waiting 10 min, I asked another waiter what the deal was and he said I needed to order at the counter. I go to the counter and order a coffee, only to have the lady there fight with the staff over who will make the coffee. 5 minute later no one seemingly wanting to make my order, I walked out. the place looks amazing but your service is beyond terrible.

My friends and I went there , waiter took his time to give menus. We then told we look too young to go upstairs even though we were 21 with our IDs with us . We ended up leaving cause we didn’t feel welcomed at all

The place has decent vibe that’s really reliant on the patrons. The service is shocking, seems like the waiters think they’re your friend or something.There’s literally no reason to ever tip in this place as everything is self service. Way too many staff doing absolutely nothing. The pizza is horrible too! Very basic and tasteless & the wine isn’t reflective of Cape Towns status as a world class wine producer.They have guys in loose dreadlocks making your food with no hair nets. This is solid place to catch an illness if that’s what you desire. They’ve had the same exact staff for years just shows the lack of ambition in the staff & zero hunger to achieve any form of excellence. The beers are cold though. Goodluck

One of the reasons to stop by, definitely their scrumptious, thin-based pizzas. Also, Yours Truly has friendly, welcoming staff. The atmosphere is very relaxing and perfect for unwinding.

Yea team is awesome and friendly and loud. They bring such life even if there’s no party and vibe they are the vibe. The pizza is awesome and menu is affordable and quality. They make you fee like you part of a tribe or family here.

The bar is very beautiful . Its less of a clubbing type of experience cause if youre seated outside, the music is low as youre far from it . Its a great dining place .

Yours Truly is one of my favourite spots on Kloof Street - Nice location, cool furniture and a lot of plants result in a cool garden flair. The restaurant is self service (except the pizza, they are brought to your table). They offer a selection of house brand wines, the rose is a recommendation, light and easy. Service staff is cool, prices are fair, pizza is tasty.The upper floor is also a great place for having a cocktail or two and offers a lot of space - suitable for groups as well.

The vibe was amazing very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The pizza was delicious and I had the luxury to add my own ingredients. I was lucky because there was a Vans promotion and the DJ was playing music from all around the world.

Yours truly is an amazing bar and a must visit in Cape Town. With multiple locations yours truly offers a place where friends can get together to share a bottle of wine or grab a light meal. I created some of my best memories here meeting new people. It does get crowded very quickly so if you want a spot get there early! The upstairs bar also closes early.

Very nice chilled vibe. Their rooftop closes too early though which causes everyone to come cramp downstairs. Doesnt make sense to me. But the vibe is super nice. Their drink selection is too limited though🙄 but I recommend it one of the few nice places in Cape town

Eh. I’m sure other branches are better. Was here for a Sunday morning breakfast. There was loadshedding, so it was disappointing but completely understandable that coffees were out. Staff working the counter were unfriendly and seemed distracted. The manager (?) did come up and assist us though, which was nice. When the lights (and music) came back on, everything jumped to life and the atmosphere was better. Regarding food, again, eh. Portions were small but delicious, but one can find other spots with sandwiches that are just as good and staff who aren’t as lifeless. Want to give this place a second chance, especially since this particular branch is one that seems to be getting a lot of tourists.

Cool space good as a couple or a large group. Didnt see any table service going which is fine in the chilled out atmosphere. Love the greenery. Lots of drinks to choose from and a few snacks as well. Try their lager!

Its the new chill out place in Cape Town. Vibrant Carnival atmosphere and easy for those that are not finicky.

Music is wayyy too load, can’t even hear the waiter taking orders. While the waiter can’t even take the order correctly, he is also busy asking for tip and stealing my change by putting it into the tip jar.Aroma is pleasant but not appreciated by all.Would NOT recommend.

Sandwiches are tasty and has an overall nice vibe, but the service was shocking. Despite not being busy I had to remind them that I still hadnt received my coffee 3 times. Each time they told me they would make it right away and bring it over but continually failed to.

The vibe is good but the DJ leaves early on a Friday 🤣

But unfortunately 😕 the beer (black lable) was flatter than I like it and way too flat for my boo.The ladies room was neat and clean and a pleasure to use. But we didnt stay past the one drink after the beer wasnt great.Really something too look into.Staff we did incounter seemed friendly.

Inside and outside seating, very busy and the quality of food and wine is great, coffee quality is good as well, could use a bit more attention on the chai latte to be a bit less sweet. Other than that its a great place

Nowadays you can get decent coffee everywhere in the western cape, but some places just serve better cappuccinos and espressos as others. Yours truly has damn great tastefull coffee, outstanding the competition. Also nice sitting with some grean around you in the middle of the city, cool and green.

Amazing space, great wine, delicious sandwiches and pizzas.Perfect for that first date in the early afternoon. Turns into a social spot later in the evening with lots of fashion forward industry types.Expect alternative music and Instagram snaps.Service is somewhat slow but two glasses of wine and youll forget all about that.

Has read about Yours Truly on the Internet and it said it was one of the best bars in Cape Town. Absolutely correct I can say. Such a brilliant concept with the hanging plants and shipping containers. Has such a lovely feel and just really nice and chilled. Great pizzas and friendly staff

This place is a great vibe and the dj sets are always on point, giving you an old school hip hop feel with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great outdoor chill out

They dont follow any of the COVID regulations. Fill the restaurant 100% vs 50%. The patrons at the next table physically touching back to back, vs min 1 mt spacing. No serving at table, have to collect at a counter - no sanitizing at counter, no distancing between patrons in queue at counter nor at entrance to get it. I tested positive for COVID 5 days after my visit there. Prior to that outing I never left my house in 2 weeks hence being able to pinpoint where I got it.

Divine on a summer day

Really easy going place, very touristy because of the hostel, which is in the same place. You have to order at the bar, but food will be brought to your table. Good prices an good food (salad, pizza, sandwiches). Great to seat outside (smoking permitted) with big tables so meet new people. This is a baz-Bus-Station.
