Had the most divine calamari salad for ĺunch and great tapas one evening. Will definitely go back. U fortunately tapas are only in evenings - not every evening. I think from Tuesday to Saturday.

My partner and I went for dinner last night at the Food Barn. It was an absolutely incredible evening. We were greeted by a lovely hostess as we walked in and got a beautiful table near the window. We order different dishes so we could taste more of the food. Every single dish was so beautifully presented and the quality and flavor of the dish was impeccable. The staff were so professional and friendly and made the whole experience even better. On a side note, the decor of the restaurant is lovely and every few months the paintings change. Therefore the restaurant doesnt always look exactly the same which is very cool. It was one of the best dining experience Ive had in a while - definitely worth a visit. Thank you Foodbarn for a lovely evening!

Excellent food and service! We tried 6 different tapas between the two of us and they were all amazing in quality, taste and presentation. Prices are very reasonable and we got a free dessert because we had 3 tapas each. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely restaurant with absolute character. Great chef, friendly staff and excellent meal options. Outside area allows fur babies in attendance too. Highly recommended.

Always a nice place to stop for lunch after a drive over Chapmans Peak Drive. Very friendly staff and the food is very tastefull. Remember to stop by the little ice cream shop. The ice cream is yummy.

Awesome fathers day breakfast, I had the Whole Goose and my wife had the Le Petite breakfasts. Which both were sumptuous and there was no way you left hungry. The Le Petite was definitely not small. My daughter had the granola with yogurt, honey and piles of fresh fruit.

Noordhoek village is a lovely place to visit . Bought the milk tart from the Food Barn & it was delish! They are a little on the pricey side but it is still worth what you are buying.

The food will surprise you, it’s absolutely amazing. it’s like fine dinning meets tapas. i’d give it 5 stars but the environment is just not exactly right, a bit too open so the noise bounces around. and clearly someone with no clue is choosing the music, terrible..

The food is excellent! I was part of a table of 3 and we ordered multiple tapas and each one was delicious! My only criticism is that the lighting fixtures arent great, so the restaurant is a bit dark. But other than that, the food is divine and the staff is super friendly.

Fresh food and simple eatery. Large barnstyle area half used as a bakery, quarter as a retail area and final quarter used as a sit-down food/coffee area, serving breakfast, lunch and teas. Homely feel as you walk in and the smell of fresh baking immediately causes hunger pangs.Unfortunately theres No simple fare on offer for sit downs. We shared a very tasty salad, but above my light lunch budget. The bakery section looked extremely popular with fresh breads and confectionery.

No matter when you go, the food is always wonderful and the service is fantastic. Dogs are allowed and encouraged. For breakfast, you will not find a better Eggs Benedict. Tapas is an unrivaled experience, well priced, amazing food and a lovely vibe. My favourite place in Noordhoek as a local.

We never miss an opportunity to visit them whenever we are in Noordhoek. Freshly baked breads and spreads. Their tapas bar serves delicious food. Chef Francs food is always delicious. French flair in S.A.

We were staying locally, and our airbnb host recommended we visit the farm village for food. We booked a table not really knowing what would be on the menu. The only thing better than the excellent service was the quality of the food! We went for the waiters recommendation for wine and main courses and were not disappointed. We had a vodka and watermelon palate cleanser between starters and mains which was delicious. Having gone on to eat at several fine dining restaurants during our trip to the western cape, we find ourselves still thinking back to how good to food at The Foodbarn was!

A very family and dog friendly venue. The food is top class and the staff very helpful and efficient.On weekend mornings wait times can be an issue but if youre early there are no issues.The shop portion is well stocked with locally sourced products. All in all well worth a visit.

Went to buy bread and some sweet things , nothing available just around 2pm. Bad planning or what for a Saturday? We normally love the place

Always something new! Can be noisy at times but I guess, expect that.And most importantly there are 3 things: The menu is hand crafted by one of the best chefs in Cape Town. So expect some surprises, even during the day. Always some specials. The egg recipes are the best in town. Period. Then; importantly, the venue is dog-friendly towards trained dogs (on a leash!!). My pup likes to come and choose a hand-baked roll as a snack ;). Finally, there is a great selection of modestly-priced wines that are personally selected by the partners in the business and if you dont want to choose a wine off the winelist, you can arrange with the owner to set aside a bottle or two from the rack for your evening consumption pleasure over the tapas, within the rules of the place, of course.

After they moved the tapas bar to the Foodbarn restaurant, the food, service and atmosphere has gone to new heights. Absolutely AMAZING.

How this place manages to be the best restaurant Ive been to in Cape Town baffles me. To start off the portions are the best thing South of Kampala and did I mention they have a book shelf? I kid you not. You can browse the book shelf as you wait for your food so that by the time food gets to you, its like half a second. Thats faster than you can say second.

Our first choice for breakfast in the Noordhoek Valley. Franck Dangereuxs team deliver an exceptional experience. It rare experience to receive this level of food and service at such a reasonable price. Great value, highly recommended.

The food is always great here, so tasty and full of flavours. Quiches are so delicious and exciting. I have never been disappointed and have always left feeling happy with what I had and looking forward to returning.

Went as a group of four and so ordered eight tapas plates. All were very tasty, however, the chicken livers were virtually just a source! Service at our table was non-existent, requiring the managers intervention. Somehow the Foodbarn Deli & Tapas does not quite succeed in providing a memorable dining experience.

This little cafe has wonderful service and food. We stopped on our way to Cape Hope. The croissants and cappuccino were delish. They had good options for either pastry or full breakfast. They also have bread and cheese that we purchased for a picnic on the cape. Lots of baked goods to take home available as well.

This place is not what it used to be, it has been about 3 years since my last visit... the food is still good but not like I must go there again... you can get this quality anywhere in Cape Town now, as the food quality is world class... this place however is way over priced for what you get... very small portions, and over priced ... fiery potato wedges were under cooked and fish taco was one of the worst I have had, tortillas was old and dry, it fell to pieces in my hand... so I won’t be rushing back, however, the breakfast is great, coffee is good ... my review is of the tapas only

This Tapas spot is always full, best you book if you want to eat here. The Deli section has a great bakery. Probably a little expensive for people who like a lot of food, but the flavours are fantastic. The pork belly I had the other day was sublime.

This is a lovely place to have lunch or breakfast with a good breakfast menu. We ordered pulled pork enchiladas for lunch. For me they were very sweet which was overpowering. Nicely prepared but didnt suit my taste.

I know its a barn (converted) but the flies everywhere inside was uncomfortable. Went there for tapas but they only serve that after 6pm - disappointing as you would think a small, light meal style of food would be suited to lunch time. All day breakfast is a cheap option for restaurants, but this does not make it special or something I would put on a recommendations list.

Was looking forward to this as had heard great things. My food was good, but my fiancés arrived cold. So we sent it back to be warmed up. They clearly just popped the bacon and mushrooms in the flash fryer (you can tell when bacon has been flash fried), and the mushrooms had hard crunchy charcoaled pieces of mushroom in amongst it now. It was now completely inedible. Thankfully the floor manager removed it from the bill. Unfortunately, though, my fiance left hungry.

The food is amazing one of my favorite places whenever Im in Cape Town. Also the service is perfect I always get a warm fuzzy feeling when I am there. And the locals hang out here (always a good sign) so I generally run into friends from my life in Cape Town

Beautiful place. We had breakfast at the cafe Roux and went for shopping afterwards. We were able to purchase fresh local products such as bread and honey. There are also very nice stores.
