What a great selection of goodies. Every neighborhood needs a good bakery and this one has been doing just that for years.To drink we had a white and dark hot chocolate that was not very hot. I think this might have been because it was for children. My cappuccino was hot.Then to go with our drinks I was advised to try the specialty cronuts. Half donut half croissant. We had chai tea, chocolate, peanut butter and orange. They were very tasty but are basically decadent donuts. The star of the show at this bakery for me has to be the pasties de nate. They are delicious. I paid R50 for 6 small ones.The next time I visit I will try the pies and freshly baked breads.

Went there for the first time last week. Bought a bagel which isnt that wonderful. Bought some rusks on bakery counter. They not fresh. Went Saturday Bought 2 more packets. Not fresh. Bought eclairette twins. Weird taste . Cost 45.00 I assumed they will be Devine. Disappointed. Wont be going there any time soon ....I guess their items you need to have an acquired taste

Nice little bakery. They also have a small restaurant and sell a range of imported products, deli meats and cheeses etc.We had a burger and Mexican burrito, they were decent but nothing special. I expected the potato wedges to be better.Obviously their speciality is the bakery side. We had a croissant and cronut and they were fantastic!Unfortunately, I was expecting to get a filled croissant but got a plain one instead because because they were not labeled correctly which is a bit disappointing. The staff could have been more cheerful and helpful as well.Will definitely be back to try more bakery treats and will update this review.

Cute little bakery and has all the home favorites.... Carrot loaf, banana loaf etc and you can sit down for some coffee. Staff are helpful.

This place is an institution! The sourdough loaves are a favourite in our house. Worth a visit, the selection is amazing.

Omw, once you buy, youre hooked! Lovely home-style baked treats, sweet and savoury. By far my favorite is their seeded low GI health loaf, orange Madeira and apple crumble.

Lousy establishment! They seem to hold the view that South Africa is a colonial outpost. Get real! We are South Africans and we have a right to be respected.

Nice Bakery and Coffee Shop. Nice assortment of Pastries and Cakes. They do not keep a big assortment of Gluten free products. They are not cheap, but the food is good as well. Parking is a bit of a pfoblem.

The last time I was there I went for a coffee, they made the coffee in a take away cup without actually telling me that the shop was going to close in 5 minutes so I couldnt sit down. The staff can be more personable and communicative.

Seating is a bit cramped but it is well worth it as the breakfast is cheap and delicious. This establishment offers freshly baked goods at a fair price. Well worth a visit.

Coimbra bakery used to our favourite place to meet our dear friends Allan & Valda. We spent a lovely Sunday mornings here being served great food by friendly staff. Seldom left without buying a treat for later. Look forward to being able to have a sit down breakfast soon.

Been coming to Coimbra for years, some of the best baked goods in the area. The clientele should really wear masks but the actual staff are responsible and its a great business

Wonderful bakery and shop.Prices are a bit more than most other places but well worth it for the quality. Definitely value for money.They also stock a good selection of regional products as well as some imported goods.I recommend the steak, mushroom, and onion pasty.

Fantastic bakery with sweet baked goods as well as savoury quiches and pies. They have Cafe seating at the back of the shop with coffee and great sandwiches. Parking can be tricky to find on the main road and the service is not always with a smile. Still my go-to place

Still the best value for money breakfast. Would be even better if the coffee was included in the price. But nevertheless still one of my go to places when I am working in the area. Excellent bakery too. Lots to choose from and all fresh. Very consistent and has been there forever. So they definitely doing something right.
