This is literally a hidden gem. Located behind the Checkers supermarket, youd have to go down to the parking lot to find this small store. Once you do, youll be welcomed by a very friendly and attentive staff. I was pleasantly surprised that their latte was even better. In fact, its the best latte Ive had in Cape Town so far - and I tried out a few...Its the perfect blend of creamy, foamed milk and well grounded coffee. I had to go back the next day right away for more. Havent tried out their breads yet, but Im sure this will be a matter of time. From now on, Oswalds will be my go to-supplier for a coffee fix.

The staff and owner are amazing and really friendly. The bakery is tucked into a corner behind Checkers and has a range of sourdough-based breads and goodies. The cinnamon twists are really nice with coffee, but personally my favourite are the seeded loafs. Its really difficult to find decent bread in Cape Town, so Im super grateful for Oswalds!

The best! Friendliest, most helpful people. I dream about the cinnamon twists and Im pretty obsessed with their Milk + Honey loaf, as well as the pugliese. So happy that this spot popped up amidst such dark lock-down times. Long may they thrive!

Oswalds bakery is by far my favorite bakery 😊 the staff is very friendly and you always leave with a smile. The freshly baked breads are absolutely delicious and the coffee goes perfectly with the cinnamon twists 👌 would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.
