Shoprite try and keep their prices as low as possible. ..Loaf of fresh brown bread R5.00 etc.

I loved it, to be honest! Maybe its because by now were basically all impervious to the slow serving speed from Shoprite outlets so we tend to look the other way and concentrate on other small winds.Despite the slow serving speed of staff, this Shoprite is fully stocked with well cooked food for take aways as well as baked stuff. You may however need to pay special attention to their fruits and other perishable stuff in case some of it would have gone bad.

Lovely.safe and not too crowded

Always crowded. Not because of shopper traffic, but because of poor shop design and layout. The checkout section does not have good queue management, with queues inevitably snaking into the shop aisles itself, causing congestion and poor room for movement. Could do with a major restructure and itd be up there with many of their flagship stores, considering that this branch is in the city centre and has huge potential for classier provisions.

Fast ,wide choice,many tills

- Star to be honest! staff is not very helpful at all and the store is not clean. I mean flies by the deli and noticed coackroaches. I know that its central and very busy, but this is a business and management should be the cleanliness of the store a priority, come on!

Unprofessional staff and most of them look so disinterested. Instead of starting with a greeting they rather ask you if you want a plastic bag. Smile is hard to find if not from the supervisors. Staff to staff conversations is the order of the day instead of prioritizing customers. Customer care training is highly required here.

Cashier makes a mistake because she was not paying attention, well thats not really a big problem. But wen l show her my till slip that she made a mistake she looked at me with a very rude face, and says if u saw me doing a mistake while scanning why didnt u tell mr.Well my plea is please teach your staff to be polite with customers, m only there to get bread and jacobs coffee satchets n nothing more.

The service i received from a cashier and a Supervisor was horrible...i dont think I will go back there.

Place is always full but atleast it opens up early so u cn get ur shop done early morning so tht is sumthn gud an amazing of shoprite

I dont have a issue with the staff but I do need to mention that the food items in this Shoprite is never fresh. I purchased cupcakes today and was so dissapointed when I got home because they were hard as rocks. The strawberries I saw 2 weeks ago had mold on them . I am definately not purcahsing any food items in this Shoprite and would not recommend it to any of my family and friends.

The service is absolutely horrid. The staff is unhelpful and disinterested in helping anyone - chatting with each other instead.

Prices are ok but the quality of the deli and customer service is not good. I dont trust how their ready to use are made.

Cheap, mostly good quality food but the in-store vibe is off. Products all over the aisles and the occasional beggar coming up to you asking for money in the store and super long waiting lines do not make for the most enjoyable experience.

This place is really well stocked and always busy. They have really good prices, staff are usually helpful and they have an elevator into the store to make it accessible for those who cannot manage the flight of stairs which otherwise lead into the store.

Great shop well positioned and has almost everything one might need.

Convenience...happy staff...fresh food on the go...super service...yet this new thing with having only 4 cashiers open before 8am is sooo not on. People go there because its on the way and fast....Now who decided to slow it down? ??...Soo many ppl put their baskets and items down and walked out while the almost there consumers stayed...pleeeeze pass is more cashiers early mornings...after all..its is that keeps you going....ppl start work at 8am and you open 7am....come now....powers a.

I just came from this Shoprite and I am very disappointed since when I checked on google, it said they open but the closed on this day.

Customer service sucks big time.

Very bad service and always full. Sometimes it seems like the shop has no system to guide their customers.

Repeatedly the worst and slowest service of any supermarket. Most patrons only have a few items and still the cashiers take longer to complete a transaction than packed trolleys at other supermarkets. Dirty, noisy, packed and difficult to move around.

To small for mall like this

It gets very busy in afternoons and on Saturdays. Its a discount Supermarket selling cheap essentials
