Theres no doubt that their baked goods are delicious. Theyre a bit over priced though and theres no visible pricelist so youd have ask the price of each item.

The most amazing Macaroons I have ever eaten in my life! I went to them after reading about a woman who came all the way from Pretoria to Cape Town for these macaroons. I was sceptic of course. The Limos Bakery gave me a Blueberry flavoured macaroon and tears fell spontaneously, so good it was! I bought my wife a box of it as a surprise, and let me tell you: She Thanked me over and over and over ...

Dear Limnos Bakers,I am livid for the experience I had to go through on Saturday 01/02/2020. I put my trust in Limnos bakers to create a beautiful cake for a very big occasion, of which I paid for R1550 the day I placed the order in January. The event was 02/02/2020, on Saturday I received a photo of the cake and notification that the cake is ready for collection. I could NOT believe what i saw, was nothing like the pic, regardless of the colours I asked to change, which was also not correct,I ordered the cake from the Edward Street branch, I had to drive to your Kuilsriver branch for my refund. I am repelled by your service.

When one travels half way across the country (from Jozi) to buy macarons at Limnos in Kuils River, then you know that its an experience, not just a taste! Their eats are delicious, but their macarons... oh my goodness... heaven in a little box!

We did cake tasting and sat down in the shop for a while. The cakes were decadent and melted in my mouth. I would have appreciated better knowledge from the staff on the variety of specialized cakes, however the staff were friendly

I was soo disappointed with my cake. I said I will collect at 10 due to unforeseen circumstances I got there around 11. The cake was sitting on top of the counter n not in the fridge. It melted ryt after I took it from the store n the quality was not so good it was as if it was baked a week before. I couldnt even cut it was falling into pieces

Cake is tasty but the staff at Kuilsriver need training/education. They wear face masks hanging off their chins and if anyone one of the staff is infected with Covid-19 they will be breathing the virus over the produce in the display cabinets. I spoke to one staffer asking her to wear the face mask properly but her prompt response was it is hot. I was there on 24Dec2020 at 14h00 management can check CCTV footage and respond if they wish to do so because I tried contacting them before posting here.

Their Macarons are THE BEST I ever tasted....cant buy anything else cause the Macarons I havent gotten over. Favourite flavours...Pistachio, lemon, orange, and blueberry.They didnt take cash....they said it was because of Covid....hope they go back to taking cash after covid.

Bought a cake at Limnos Kuilsriver yesterday, found a hair in the cake. Was also very unpleasant biting into an eggshell. Took it back, still waiting on manager to get back to us. This is not the first time we had a problem with Limnos Kuilsriver. It is very disappointing as you expect the best from Limnos.

Found this place by accident and decided to drop in. It wasnt very busy so service was good and I was attended to quickly, pastries were fresh and reasonably priced and quality of the ingredients was excellent. All round it was quite pleasant. I would certainly return again when in the area.

Got here 1 hour ago. Kids waited this long for milkshakes. Certain staff certainly dont project what Limnos is about. Never been here before really doubt a return. Staff on their own buzz except for 2 ladies

I called to place an order for baked cheese cake. Lady told me I cant place a order, I must just come the next day to purchase. I go the next day, and I was told there are no whole cheese cakes available!!! Super disappointed! Waste my time!Update: I called the manager and explained to her the situation. She said there was actually baked cheese cake and if we wanted it, we could pick it up and she apologized.

We are breakfast regulars at limnos Kuilsriver, however today we left quite disappointed and unfortunately will not be returning. There are no appropriate kid friendly meals/portions, hence we always take the breakfast special for our kids and ask the kitchen to share it into two plates. Today, we were told this is no longer going to be allowed?! Secondly, my husband normally orders the savory mince on toast which comes with chips: his food arrived without the chips. When asked where it is, waitress said she rang it up without the chips. Please explain to me how on this earth if something is on the menu, the waitress can just change it ? We cannot be subjected to this level of service especially with Kuilsriver expanding and all the other breakfast options available to us. We have a host of other places we can visit, which is exactly what we will be doing. Goodbye limnos !

What a lovely cozy place to come enjoy a cup of coffee with friends and family. They have a very big cake variety to choose from, all freshly baked on their premises. Definitely a must try for all cake lovers. Their staff is very friendly and helpfull. We will be back anytime.

Cakes were incredible and wouldve rated 5 stars if taking only this into account. Staff were friendly to customers but the manager was arguing with the waitresses throughout our visit, with no regard for the customers sitting in the bakery. Unprofessional and no intent to apologise for the behaviour. Couldve easily taken such an argument to the backroom.

Nice experience with friendly staff that even served my little todler a baby cappucino without us asking for one. They were very sweet and accommodating, plus the cake was amazing😊

We always enjoy what Limnos has on offer but some of the staff members do not project a very good image of the place. Some of them spend to much time chatting & got my order wrong. I was not pleased. The staffing certainly needs to be jacked up.

Limnos bakery is a retail shop that sells a few items. I was expecting the aroma of a bakery, the warm personal touch and latest receipt that the bakers testing. Limnos is an ordinary store, the general store at the corner sells the same stuff and for cheaper... so why would I choose Limnos?

Really bad experience with Limnos Kuils River. Bought Doughnuts for Sunday morning coffeee. They were stale, yellow on the inside and bitter. Disgusting!!! We took them back and asked Limnos to contact us since the supervisor with her bad attitude could not assist. A week later and we received no correspondence from them. Stopped there this morning.Really bad attitude from another staff member. Made me feel like an idiot with no taste buds. She discussed my issue with another customer. How unprofessional. Limnos Kuils River can have their stale cakes and eat them themselves.
