Nourished my soul this morning at this incredible café! Coffee and croissants were truly too-die-for...I have never had such a delicious croissant in my life before! The waiters outfits are also a lovely touch that adds to the overall ambience.

The take out section is very convenient should you wish to grab a quick one on the go. Their sit down offers a unique experience to visit. Whilst there, Try their coffee too!

Best French toast Ive ever had, with a lovely surprise on the bananas! If you love French toast youll love this. Their chocolate croissants also have a delicious surprise inside. The ambiance and decor is top notch. The iced Viennese coffee is delicious and makes you want more. The staff are super friendly. This is well worth it.

We had the first class high tea, but calling it a high tea is unfair. The food is on another level than any other high tea I have experienced.It looks fantastic, but more than that, it tastes better than it looks. All of the combinations work really well and the presentation and service is excellent.Every should experience this at least once.

I was honestly blown away by the level of service received. The food and coffee is on another level.Lets not even speak of their speciality croissants... I promise you, its a gift sent from the heavens. You will not be disappointed.

First time I had risotto and omg the other people at my table wished they ordered it too. Thank you for being halal and amazing. Took a lemon meringue croissant home - definitely the highlight.The second time I went, we tried some desserts. Basil Mango is more of an acquired taste and each dessert coming with the same biscuit crumble - its a bit much

The orders came really late my mom’s latte came coldAnd their orange juice was bitter. our sticky bun came super cold not sure if that’s how it was supposed to be served but at least the food was okayAnd they do have Halal certificate so you don’t have to worry

Tried the almond, pistachios & white chocolate, and hazelnut croissants. My favorite was the hazelnut. The filling is hazelnut butter and the chocolate on the outside complements it. The almond croissant itself was amazing but the almond extract in the filling wasnt pleasant at all for personally.I ordered a mocha and surprisingly it was the worst drink Ive ever had. It tasted like water. But I complained and they took it back and returned my moneyI am going back for sure to try their breakfast menu and the creme brulee croissant, but never ordering any drinks from them.Update:They asked for my info to contact me. They didnt.I went back to try all the rest of their croissants. I also tried their breakfast. And gave their drinks a second chance.I was so excited for the french toast but it tasted very eggy. The croissant Benedict was exceptional. Every components of this plate was perfect. The place was busy & the service was slow and a bit lacking. Their drinks are still below average.I recommend coco safar for their croissants only because they truly have the best croissants. But everything else is not worth it.My favorite croissants are the original, Hazelnuts (Perfect, Nutty, chocolaty and crunchy), Churros ( the tres leches custard filling is dreamy), Pistachio & white chocolate, and apple. The rest were good as well but I dont recommend the creme brulee it was very bad and the sticky bun was dry.

Wow, what an amazing place for breakfast. Never had lamb bacon, but we will definitely be back. The croissants are to die for.

This place is very nice, but the food disappointed. The coffee was average, the eggs benedict was ok, and the hazelnut croissant was great. We ordered two eggs benedict and only got one, but after trying it we decided not to order another and go someplace else afterwards.The ambience is amazing and the presentation is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit, but there is much better value for money elsewhere.

I went to Coco Safar last week for the Dessert Bar Experience. Oh, wow! And what an incredible experience it was! A 10 course service paired with drinks... You would think, 10 desserts must be too sugary... Not at all! And I dont have a sweet tooth. Every dish was marvellous, and the drinks... Ah! They take you on a culinary tour around the world, with all its different flavours and textures. I didnt take many photos as I wanted to be present during the experience, but I wish I did. Here are a few. I highly recommend everyone tries it, it is truly a journey beyond ordinary. Thank you!!!

We had a costumed cake specially made for our daughter’s birthday which turned out to be the dream come true. We just told them the kind of flavors we wanted and they went beyond expectations, the cake not only looked amazing, but everyone at the party said it was the best cake they had ever tried. Plus they delivered very carefully. This cake was the star of the day. Thank you Coco Safar, no doubt; best patisserie in Cape Town!

We tried the new Columbian Coffee and the house favorite and some chocolate brownies. Quick tip to myself here, first order the sweet stuff an then the coffee hehe, coz then youll have coffee to balance out the sweet stuff😊. Note that theres a time limit, so book your table. Coco Safar is a breakfast Lunch type of place, and not a dinner place... they close at 18h00, an the kitchen closes at 17h300.

We haven’t been to Coco Safar since before lockdown so you can imagine how happy when we were when we saw that they were running a lunch special (sadly, it’s ends today, 10 January 2021).We started our journey with our favorites: flat whites with their signature Madelines which are an absolute favorite.The starter was a piece of sourdough with goats cheese, apple and maple syrup. It was superb.For mains, my hubby had the burger and I had the halloumi salad. Both were really tasty.We also decided to have juice as well as we were feeling a little dehydrated. It was really tasty too.For the desserts, my hubby had the mango passion dessert and I had the berry guava one.Ultimately, it was a phenomenal experience. Covid protocols were strictly followed as well.

My first time today at coco was an absolute blissful experience. From arriving where the waiters were so organized, to being served and eating every single morsel of my food. Beautiful venue, superb service and fantastic food. Youll see me soon again.

Although Coco Safar has incredibly delicious pictures of their food and a great variety, I have found that other than their breakfast/bakery foods, the taste was lacking. The rating would have been higher because I definitely thought their croissants were delicious and the bread too, but the last two times I have ordered, there hasnt been a consistency. The first time, the croissants were actually flat, and the feedback was not taken well. Recently, I ordered brioche buns and the size is different and they seem to not have risen completely. Overall quite disappointing.

We had a five star experience and was treated with exceptional service. We had to takeaway some of their treats for the family at home. Everything was done with precise attention to detail and you savoured every bite to prolong the taste sensation. Love it and cant wait to meet up with friends there after lockdown.

The service from the staff is absolutely delightful. Space is designed to provide for private dining experiences within the larger restaurant area. An experience one needs to have every now and again. The food items were beautifully presented. Our hot cross bun became a perfect pairing for our white wine.

I LOVE Coco Safar! The world-class quality of the food and drinks, the buzz of the place, the professional service by the serving staff, the bread trolley that comes around and the delicious coffee...... It is an ABSOLUTE bucket-list experience! I keep on going back again, and again, and again, and....

The High Tea Experience is such an unconventional and unique approach to high tea. Enjoyed every moment of journey! The service was friendly and professional. Will certainly be back!

Great experience, the food was lovely and the dessert was amazing. Staff are really attentive without being overbearing. The coffee is truly delicious.We got invited for a coffee tasting after our meal to the capsule emporium. There we were introduced to coffees from around the world, but I have to say that the biggest surprise was the Kaapstad Rooibos Maple tea and the Stellenbosch green Rooibos tea. Both were outstanding and the gentleman doing the presentation made the whole experience very informative and a treat. Thank you and we will definitely be back again.

Beautifully designed and decorated. The staff in very fashionable uniforms can be worn after work. I loved the host Lovemore and the waite staff. Great location. Oh, and my meal was delicious...fresh croissant...superb!

Such a must go to in Sea Point, fresh feel and look. They did such a great job on their food. They pay close attention to everything. The pour over coffee didn’t taste the greatest, prefer Origins or Espresso Lab. The staff weren’t very friendly. Go check it out maybe you’ll love it.

This place is next level, food is OFF THE CHARTS, the savory stuff is next level (like the eggs Benedict in a croissant with lamb bacon... just saying) and then the sweets stuff, is like the stuff you see on TV, that don’t just look amazing but are fantastic tasting. Then there is there interesting tea brewing bar area, it’s like a full flavor experience to to there, TOP TOP place, 5 star didn’t do them justice 🥐🌰🍰🧁🍬

This place has divine food and delicious coffee. We had some croissants and breakfast pastries/quiche. So fluffy and tasty. The service was great and the chat to the owner was very inspiring and interesting. An overall fantastic experience.

What an amazing experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Went for afternoon tea, the ambience is lovely. The decor makes you feel like you have been transported to an elegant olde world cafe. Greeted by friendly, professional staff. We booked ahead which was not required although I think in non-COVID times it would be necessary. We all had the Very Berry Ice Tea which was prepared freshly for the whole table. I loved it. Two of the table had Churros with Salted Caramel Sauce which went down well, large portion with a generous amount of sauce. One order of Chocolate Mousse Cake. It in the shape of a coffee been, so beautifully presented and tasted delicious too. We also had a Key Lime Pie which was perfect down to the tiniest detail. The addition of a delicate slice of candied lime topped it off. The perfect afternoon, would highly recommend to anyone looking for upscale cafe with spectacular dessert offerings.

My second visit, this time for breakfast. Beautiful space with the most attentive waiters Ive ever seen in South Africa. In a country where waitrons do the bare minimum this place stands out with their exquisite staff!! Very friendly, the waiters work together checking up on you if you look like you need something. I will be coming back again and again bringing more people to experience this place.The food is delicious and plated well on gorgeous dishes. Even the single use serviettes are of quality and detail.The first time I went here was for a friends birthday. Coco Safar is definitely a nice place to go and chill and have a coffee and dessert with friends.Just be sure to check the ingredients of the desserts you choose as some of them are interesting and are an acquired taste.We had the Honey, Lemon and Chocolate as well as the Blueberry Cheesecake, this was definitely not the normal Blueberry Cheesecake I was expecting to taste.Nevertheless the Dark Hot Chocolate was very nice and the atmosphere was great for a relaxing place with excellent service.

By far the best brunch I’ve ever had. The smoked brisket sandwich is something else, with garlic mayonnaise and perfectly smoked brisket you can never go wrong. After our meal we were given a complimentary sorbet tasting experience free of charge which definitely tantalized our taste buds. Highly recommend this 5 star restaurant
