Classic Bakery are best known for their awesome Milk Tarts and Yum Yums. They also offer personalized cakes and off the shelf cakes too. They do offer the usual bakery treats. Very good place to get something that tastes home made. 5 stars for this bakery. Great service.

This is for blaming your Customer on handling a cake, which we did and we were not told that the boot would be a better place for the cake during traveling, after traveling the cake was put in the fridge for the recommended time to set and only later in the day the cake decided to lean to one side. Instead of making excuses to your customer come up with a better solution on the problem we faced, its easy to blame your customer but we handled the cake properly.

Fantastic Bakery. Classic is the name of the game. I bought a chocolate Eclair cake and it was the talk of the party. Service great. Definately recommend them for a special occasion as they are pricy but worth every bite.

I live in the UK and needed a birthday cake for my niece in ct. I found classic bakery on the Internet and was very happy to learn that they are operating during these unprecedented times. I was looking at their specialty cakes and chose two designs which I hoped would be available at short notice. I contacted the store on the 18 Th May in hope of getting my cake on the same day. Mariam whom I had dealt with was so professional and absolutely amazing, she emailed me a picture of a beautiful cake which she made for me the same day. She absolutely listened and understood my needs, she delivered complete perfection, in both taste and design. I also read previous reviews on her website, and her milk tarts seemed to be the talk of Town, so yes I had to add one to my order along with red velvet cupcakes and some fruit tarts. The pictures of the cakes were beautiful and my family were over the moon happy with everything, they came back to me saying everything was fantastic and that they couldn’t fault a thing. I look forward to my future trips to Cape Town even more now:) Thank you Mariam for delivering such good service at such short notice. Thank you for making our celebration so special with your special cakes:) My family and I are now your loyal customers forever xx

The owner, Mariam, always makes time to chat to her customers. Classic bakery is my go to place for special occasion cakes as it is always fresh and tasty. The yum yums is a must try too.

I went to Classic as I wanted a cake for a special occasion, naturally I took my time to decide the type of cake most suited for our occasion, I enquired about different cakes and some questions, only to be met with snide and sarcastic comments, I was also referred to go to 2 other shops, now why would I want to go to other shops when I specifically walked into Classic Bakery? If I wanted to go to those shops I would have gone there and not Classic, the experience was very distasteful and very disappointing, customers should be accommodated and not referred to other shops, this rendered the impression that my business was not needed as well as that the customer is not a priority. By far the worst customer service experience, I wont easily return to order cakes from Classic Bakery.

My daughters birthday was a success with the cake made for her, the Sunday treats for breakfast,Saturday pies for lunch and the special treats you can quickly buy for guests. I ordered a cake of R500+-. Got my cake on the 5th and it was rather disappointing. My cake was skew and it was nothing like i ordered and explained. It was a cake for my little ones birthday and it was quite sad to have me dish out more money to replace the initial cake.Very dissapointing once again!

I had the same problem with a large bar one cake not too long ago but a lesson learned the quality was dry and tasteless and dont talk about the rude old elderly because I was there too tell them about the cake that was horrible and old and this was not the 1st occasion the cake was horrible and she told me why didnt we call too tell them that we had a problem with the cake and where is the cake and where is the proof but too tell you the truth we threw it into the dirt bin because of the embarrassment.
