I have been to Pahari a couple of times, I love their food really... Its amazing!! Their portions are dope! And they have a good customer service.

This is like a home away from home. Nicely cooked food which leaves you satisfied and craving for more. All traditional foods served especialky Zimbabwean dishes.

Enjoyed the African traditional food. Faux pas on my part, eating pap with a fork. 🤭All worth the trip to the restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a good African food experience.

I dont believe theres a better African food in Cape Town. The food is always fresh and their quality is very consistent. Pricing is very competitive as well and the seating options are inside and outside. With new spacing requirements this type of seating is very ideal. One more thing, generally African restaurants make Pap/ Sadza and store it to be microwaved, Pahari Restaurant does not do that, every plate comes straight out of the pot per order and into your plate. That is attention to detail. You may also want to try their popular Mazowe orange juice while uou wait for your food. In this economy where value for your buck is important, Pahari is one of those must try places😊

I ordered Tilapia fish with curry sauce and beef tripe from UberEats. The fish came with no curry sauce and it was very dry. The beef tripe tasted like it has been in the fridge for a very long time. So dissapointed!

The best and most authentic African (Zimbabwean) food ever. Offers quite a variety to suit all tastes. I love eating here as it is simple but tasty food that caters for my gluten intolerant dietary needs. My favourite is the Mpandawana (Meaty Bones) followed by the Road Runner (Farm Chicken) served with Machakada (Peanut Butter Rice).

Ordered from Uber Eats. Had the pan friend fish which was basically deep fried, golden BROWN, rock hard and barely anything to eat at all. Might I add it just came by itself. Just a whole brown fish in a styrofoam container. No sides nothing, for 70R !!!!! Also ordered the road runner (chicken stew) which hardly had any taste and the chicken was EXTREMELY tough to the point where I couldnt even swallow it was so chewy. I called them and complained and the lady argued with me telling me I should have known the fish was fried, and that if I wanted softer chicken I should have ordered something else, not road runner. 1. How am I supposed to know Road Runner was tough chicken. And is tough chicken any good anyway? 2. You dont argue with your customer and talk over them while theyre talking. What a place.
