Clean and practical with beautiful stars at night. The shower is brilliant after a long dusty drive. The view on the Hantam mountains is breathtakingly beautiful

Overnight stay, bed a bit hard but pleasant stay on the outskirts of Calvinia. Plenty hot water for a good shower.

Clean and safe, but the Jack Russell, specifically one in particular was giving his best, still constantly barking at 3 oclock in the morning.

Tastefully decorated. Minimal cleaning which only needs a light flick of a duster broom to sweep highly varnished floors. You will love the peace which will only be interrupted by a noise that only war veterans know about. The strange thing phenomena is a beach buggy is blamed. As far as I am concerned it is absolute bogus ... .... ...... ....... ........ do you get my drift

Perfect little campsite for our vehicles and rooftop tents. Fantastic ablutions, safe little distance from town and epic stargazing. Kids enjoyed farmyard feel, little dam and windpomp. Will be back if we head this way again!

I arrived way after my book in time,and the lady was very nice to get up from her warm bed to assist us.The sleep was good.The facility nicely preped.Got a nice good mornin,on the road goodbye.

What an amazing farm style campsite that would probably only fit 5 stands. Great place for a one night stay as we travel to the coast. Sheep, peacocks, horses and rabbits wander around. Close to the highway for easy access yet far enough to not be disturbed. Ablutions are very clean with ample hot water. Very nice braai facilities with a lovely view of the Hantam mountains.

Quiet outside.

It is a small paradise in the middle of a dry valley, the owners are a lovely couple that in addition to providing camping and rooms at a very affordable price are dedicated to their livestock, wonderful place.
