Had an amazing waiter that made us a special sauce for our focaccia. And the food was great! Their cucumber gin drink is also define.

Great ambience, there’s a nice little play area so it’s good for kids too. Something for the whole family!

The food and the service is absolutely beyond amazing. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the bigger children at the playing area are very unruly and apparently they are the children of the manager or someone working there so they do not listen to anyone and do whatever they want. In the time we were there I was hit with a toy they were hitting each other with, sprayed with water they were throwing each other with and hit in the face with a rubber ball. The ladies looking after the kids repeatedly told them to stop but they just laugh at them and when you try to speak to the mother she just gets angry and rude and says kids will be kids If those problems can be seen to it would be a much better place.

I ENJOY EATING THERECLEAN . FRIENDLY STAFF ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. PRICE WISE FITS TO YOUR BUDGET. THEY MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOME. I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THEM AND RECOMMEND THEM.

Great place to go if you want to wait ages for your meal, have the dishes delivered one by one with 10 minute gaps in between. I returned my main course as it was really sub standard. On the night we complained numerous times and only after that did the service improve. A shame really as the place has potential

I have not had many opportunities to visit Avanti, but my first time here was quite pleasant, although overrated.The food, especially the starters, seemed a bit overpriced- receiving two spring rolls for R72.The spring rolls themselves were delicious however, as you could tell that they were filled with artisan ingredients and not picked up from a lonesome freezer isle in some supermarket.My main course, which featured chicken and spaghetti squash left a bit to be desired, as it was more spicy than flavourful and overall still left me hungry. There was a small amount of squash spaghetti and my chicken was dry. The rest of the table seemed satisfied with their meals, with the acception of the rack of lamb, which was too peppery to be enjoyed to its fullest.My partners pasta pockets were filling, but I found the sauce to be very heavy and on the bland side. It did not feel as premium as the pricetag would have suggested.The waiters were kind, but it was rather difficult to understand them as a combination of their masks and rather loud background music made for a less than stellar communication situation.Overall, Avanti was okay. If management addressed some of these issues and priced a few items a bit more reasonably, I could see myself loving this establishment.

By chance we recently visited Avanti Woodland Hills and we had a fantastic time. Service was terrific and their Italian Spring Rolls (filled with mozzarella, sage and parma ham, served with a sweet mustard dipping sauce) are to die for! We could certainly do with that recipe, failing which, we will definitely be back for more!

Things I disliked at the restaurant.The drinks menu is poorly planned. There are no other alternatives on the menu other than wine. So unless you know exactly what you want to drink, you have to guess if they will stock it.Although they have a beer tap they do not stock the relevant beer in kegs so you are left to settle for bottled beer.The restaurant setup is poorly planned with tables just haphazardly placed. The restaurant has great potential inside also but due to there not being climate control they are forced to move tables out.Things I liked at the restaurantThe waitress regularly checks up on you.Food was good.Service was fairly quick.This is a good restaurant to goto if you have little kids as the playppark is right next to the restaurant.

In the past (if I could) I would give them ten stars! They defs serve the best food in Bloem, the first place where I would take tourists to! However, I have been disappointed by there services lately, as they have removed many of there winning dishes from the menu?? why? Their menu has started to become very small and without versatility.... their service has also started to take longer than in the past....

Relaxed and great service. Been to Avanti plenty of times and I have not been dissappoined. Woodland Avanti caters brilliantly for small kids. My 5 year old gets excited when I say Avanti.

We actually got lyrical about the carpaccio - best combination of tastes Ive had in years, went beautifully with the Kleine Zalze Sav Blanc. Do yourself this favour :D

Reaction from one of the supervisor is not good after we complained some of the seafood is not fresh, we told the waitress the mussels are not fresh, she even smells it and told the supervisor who walked close to us our complaint, there is not even a sorry replied to us after it.
