3rd visit in 6 weeks, and I must say it was excellent each time. Generous portions at reasonable prices and really tasty. Thanks Drös and especially Lorraine for a great experience.

My burger was cooked perfectly. And the garlic snails werent overpowering.

Ordered last night, a nice take away. Which was not to expensive but at least for the amount paid, I expected quality. For this I will not ever support Dros again. Ice cold eisbein, and when I say ice cold, i mean the meat was still half frozen on the bone. The worst eisbein I ever had. They dont even deserve one star.

Our Chicken was undercooked....and please update interior(not so nice presently) .and please use fresh oil! More than once I did not enjoy the chips...was fried in old oil. Pizzas is good..friendly waiters!

Place often has no ingredients in the kitchen. Now its either you eat what you craved at its half best, or, order a whole new different item and F-up the remaining part of your day. Its very annoying...Beer keg are empty most of the time, so ask before you sit down if you feel like a Draught...Food is mediocre, Great value for money though...

Was there the15th of January and they didnt even have alcohol free beer or any diet cold drinks and both my son and husband is diabetic. We though we would give them another opportunity today, but the staff was not brimming with energy and they had no beer on tap

Excellent food and vibe

Service was like the overall atmosphere, relaxed but excellent and professional. The food was amazing; pumpkin was a little sweet for me but my wife loved it. Onion rings were also the best Ive tasted (I usually dont like onion rings but these were good, tasty and not too oily). Meat was done to perfection. Portion sizes were decent and lots of great specials. Of all the places you can comfortably go to in Bloemfontein wearing a t-shirt and shorts I believe this has potential to be the best.

I ordered a pasta dish that has Tagliatelle and I was served spaghetti.....The dish is almost R100 and I get served this rubbish...if you dont have the ingredients you need to revisit your management...Spar is just across the road from The Dros if you run out just go and buy....you cant just do as you like and people must accept it....If you dont have whats on your menu then you should inform the customer.. after all its hard earned money

Dros Bloemfontein definitely does not offer value for money. They are extremely expensive with blant food. For much cheaper you can get much better food at Spur. For the same price you can eat a gourmet steak at a restaurant like Long Horn. Further the main I wanted to order was out of stock and to top it off the desert I wanted to order was also out of stock. Not a great experience for 2/2 dishes I wanted to order being out of stock without warning. The waitress was also very poor and really was a struggle to get her to serve us. Definitely not going there again.

Great service and friendly staff.Edit: Although we had a great time the only thing that annoyed our table was the fact that they had a unisex bathroom with only one toilet and one urinal. If one drinks alot of beer and you need to go, you need to go. Instead you have to stand and wait for that one person to finish up before you can go in.

Really nice atmosphere and decor but you could probably find better food in the back alley of a decent restaurants trash can. My steak tasted bitter and they didnt even bother cleaning my glass properly before pouring in my drink. Excuse my attitude but this is a poor restaurant

The service and food was a nightmare! We ordered milk shakes and received warm milk with a blob of frozen icecreamin the middle. Food looked old and dried out. We were told that the kitchen was under pressure after waiting about an hour for the food. Very dissapointing!! Please train your staff properly so they dont run your business into the ground.

My girlfriends sirloin steak was completely spoilt.. She took one bite and got sick. The manager was at least very helpful and they removed her steak from the bill, but they will not see us again.

As someone that has been in hospitality for over 20 years I was disappointed in the service, the food was good for the type of establishment and our waitress tried her best but what was lacking was the management staff, I saw the manager once in the evening and then never again , if your manager does not help on the floor or support his floor staff, how are they supposed to give excellent service, poor management will be the reason your staff don’t last and your customers disappear, our main meal took over an hour to get to us, yes we were a table of 20 but it should not take that long the restaurant was not busy

I ordered Bewf Schnitzel with cheese sauce and vegetables.I received the schnitzel with mushroom sauce. The garnish did not look fresh and the spinach was rotten and turned SOUR. 2 different plates.Waitress removed the plate, but no manager came to the table what so ever...

The food was better than expected. Have not eaten at Dros for a very long time. But, must say: my experience was very pleasant. Experience good service.(Which was something my wife noticed. The decor, creates a slightly morbid atmosphere.)

Forget some of the drinks cold starters, long waited for them (no they were not busy), half of what we wanted to order not available .... waiter can not say sorry enough, he only works three days here ... no thanks, not again

The famous restaurant was quite crowded when my wife and three children walked in there. However, the reception was friendly and the staff was very helpful. We had to wait an unreasonably long time for our food, but as I say, it was very busy.
