The gold standard for service, pleasantness and tasty food. Its patently obvious that Francis truly loves his craft and establishment. Would love to see him succeed onto prestigious, formalised restaurants.

Good coffee and tasty food are hard to fault. The setup of the tables relative to the playground and the exit is well thought out to enable multiple tables to have an easy view of their kids playing. Kids also would have to pass their parents to exit, a reassuring setup.

What a lovely surprise to find this coffee shop. The staff were very welcoming; the coffee was great and the food delicious. I loved that the bill arrived in a pencil case.

Situated at Glenwood Prep with plenty of parking in Bath Rd. Very nice setting and chilled atmosphere. Pretty views and relaxing music. Jungle gym and jumping castle for little ones. Delicious cappuccinos and breakfast.

Slightly expensive but nice area for kids even though the school has cars drive directly through the kids play ground. The jungle gym has not been fixed since the owners were made aware of the problem before the Christmas holidays.

Lovely place but needs better staff. Treat you like u not even there and the service is terrible. The girls need to change there attitude and the manager needs to take charge of the place and not say Im doing the coffee Im not sure how long your food would take. Never again ever.

While the setting is interesting and eye-catching, the food (in my opinion) is on the average side considering the price. As for the coffee (I can only speak for the Americano crowd), there are much better venues for that within 500m of the Prep Room. Having said that, I commend Judd (the owner) for taking a bold step in creating a commercial enterprise which aims to connect our isolated, fenced off institutions to their public surroundings. I think that Judd and his architects have done a brave and wonderful thing in creating a flexible space which supports vibrant urban life. The Prep Room is situated on the premises of the Glenwood Preparatory School. It is accessible from Bulwer Park (Bath Road), and there are views of the park as well as the school sports grounds.
