Food n coffee good but staff not very helpful.Tables n chairs on the patio not cleaned and had to be wiped by myself before being seated.coffee n food delivered to table and thats it.Staff to busy chatting in the kitchen.

Had an unfortunate incident with a staff member and he was apparently the training officer. I asked for the ingredients to a muffin which I never ate before and he was quite rude. I am a regular at Vida, but I will be patronising another coffee shop around the corner, which would welcome my business in these trying times. Prejudice and racism should not exist in 2021.

Hit or miss with the drink quality...I went yesterday and the Frio I had was not great.My friend had a peanut butter Frio and there was a little bug in it.

Very disappointed with the Frios Berry smoothie. I was mostly ice and very little fruit. I make my own smoothies with only fresh fruit at home so I know there was hardly any fruit in it just enough to slightly colour the ice water. I basically paid R44 for ice water and not a fresh fruit smoothie. First and last time I will ever go to a Vida e Caffe

Modern yet warm inviting deco. Excellent service. Staff have a happy morning vibe which is extremely welcoming. The most divine cappuccino and hot chocolate. Excellent for a quick morning coffee on the go or that business meeting.

Would go to this little Cafe frequently when I was still working in the area. The staff are always very polite and try their best to achieve your order exactly as you like. It can get a bit loud and noisy over lunchtime periods making it difficult to sit down and enjoy your drink peacefully

Fast, amazing service and delicious food and drinks. I love their frozen drinks as a special sweet treat. The sandwiches are good too. A perfect day is walking through the park before or after stopping by vida and maybe Florida Road in the evening.

VIDA E is my breakaway, my escape. When the city gets too much I head over to clear my head. The street side seating and restaurant seems to always have a cool breeze to beat the durban heat, and the view of the beautiful park almost always demands at least a 15min walk under the trees. (the Park is also maintained really really well and Ive always felt safe). This cafe definitely has it all : location, location, location

Certainly one of the best coffee shop and locations in the world. A lovely fresh sea breeze, plus Mitchell Park on ur 3 and a beautiful garden on ur 11. Best staff as well.

I must admit Im biased towards Vida e caffe because in my opinion they make the best commercial hot chocolate available!

No bacon at Vida is a problem for me. I will not be visiting the Vida across from Mitchell Park anymore.

The coffee is good, although the stench of garlic was overpowering. But the real challenge was the toilets. Walk through the washing area (quite scary), up a step, then down 8 steep steps, past the gas cannisters, then up six steep steps with missing tiles, and then down another 4 steps to the two toilets. And one hand rail for the 4 steps. DO NOT go to this cafe with a disabled person. There is no ways that they will get to the toilet. And the flushing device was partly broken in the one toilet. Street noise was substantial but it is a street cafe so that is part of the ambience.

The Vida e Caffe on the corner of Innes and Florida Road in Morningside srves delicious breakfast and lunch snacks and meals as well as of course coffee and juices! They serve delicious coffees, iced coffees, frios, freshly squeezed juices, teas and iced teas. Vida is worth stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat from or sitting down with a friend to catch up over a cup of refreshing coffee.

Yummy food and a very modern sophisticated feel Especially loved the iced chocolate frio and chocolate croissant.
