If i could rate 0 star I would. Bought 2 boerewors roll today and it was dry not just the outside even the inside. You would swear it was made the day before. Really the guy behind the counter had the audacity to actually warm it up seeing the state of it.

Lovely and clean. Great assistance from staff. Beautifully presented stock. Safety protocols are in place. I got lamb rib chops... Cut thick for the braai (BBQ).. lovely meat. And.. the dry word is dry and very moreish. Cold meats are of the type you wont find anywhere else.

The staff here provide excellent service. They are friendly and helpful. The shop is really clean and smells fresh. Theres a great variety of succulent meats, my favorite being the ready made turkey drumstick. The cold meats as well are great.

Ahhhhh, who does not love Mr Mozzies?. They have been great for many years now.

Great smoked meats and cold meats.However bought rashers and pre cooked ribs they were terrible. Rashers tasted terrible, no flavour and ribs tasted like it was soaked in salt, horrendous! dont recommend anyone buy these items. They seem to have gone more deli then butchery didnt have much meat on display. Most unimpressed never going back there

Best cold meats , nice sausage, good service conveniently located and good operating hours.

The food, meats, coldmeats etc. Are always on point at all stores and thats why Mr Mozzies always have their customers coming back for more.However the store on Argyle, inside the store I did feel it overcrowded. There was a sign to wear a mask and a sanitizer was provided tho to me there were too many people inside. There should have been someone controlling the volume of people in and out of the store, especially during this festive season.

Meaty off cuts are becoming pricey, and their shelf life is very limited. Some sliced meats barely last till the end of the 2nd day in the fridge, even after following the shop assistants storage recommendations.Staff seem uninterested to assist customers, cashiers however are more pleasant.

Best smoked chicken in town..

Great quality and value. Try the smoked whole chickens, matured rump steak for under R100/kg, bacon sausages, dry cured bacon always gets crispy in the pan and cheaper than store bought soaked bacon. Their biltong and sausage selection is also worth a tase. Friendly and helpful staff tops it off.

Very clean with lots of good products. They smoke their own meat, and their kassler pork steaks are the best. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Well known for their smoked and cold meats. A old style butcher shop with personal attention. Their cold cuts are prepacked and sold around KZN but the experience of buying at their outlet makes the cold cuts taste better.

Since my last visit in 2013 standards have changed. The Smoked Ribs were so disappointing, barely smoked. The cheese display is not worth the effort. There was no paté.ColTempo Salami in 8th Avenue off of Florida Road is a better option.

Used to be the shining light of the franchise in Durban. My recent visit proved the opposite. Waited about 5 minutes before a staff member attended to me. It wasnt busy, and about a staff member to a client ratio at that time. When I was to be served a lady commented she was first and waited even longer! I suggested she be served first out of common courtesy. 2 police officers walked in and were looking at pre packed meats next to where I was standing. They then walked over to another staff member and he served them immediately without hesitation! No attention paid to customers who came first. When leaving the car park another staff member in whites (assuming works in butchery at the back) sprayed out on the pavement having a little nap as if hes lying on his fathers yacht. Shocking to see a beloved butchery go downhill. Sort yourselves out. I wont be back ever.
