I adopted a dog which ripped my dog apart twice, huge vet bills for my account, even though I was assured the dogs will get on with each other, I surrendered the dog back to them which also took a few days, the staff there was told they had taken the dog back as we had abused him. I then adopted a so called pure breed rottweiler, which was not the case, not that I minded it was just the lies that they give. I have since adopted a rottweiler from them which I was assured that her vaccinations were up to date, I had financial issues so they kept the vaccination card held ransom, fair enough, I have paid for the dog and received her card to my surprise her vaccinations were never up to date, last done in 2017 thus endangering not only her but my other pets,

The people that work at TAG and contribute to them have my full respect. I am so grateful that a place like this opened in my neighborhood. They take care of these animals despite their injuries or illnesses. They look after them with real heart-felt compassion that you dont see these days. WELL DONE TAG team.

Just stopped to see whats all the cars about. Great clothing cheap if you are into buying second hand clothing. Its for a good cause.

I recently decided to adopt a small dog. First went to view at Benoni SPCA and was super impressed at how clean the premises was and how well looked after the dogs were. Unfortunately they didnt have any small dogs available (we stay on a very small property) so I googled this place. Wish I had done my homework before going. Staff extremely unfriendly, the stench from the kennels very off-putting and the heartbreak as to the condition of animals just awful. No matter how many times I tried to tell the short haired woman in charge I needed a small dog she continued trying to force me into a big one. When I refused to commit she became rude. Couldnt get out of there fast enough!!!! Such a shame, the only silver lining I see from my visit is the opportunity to warn others to stay far away. Go to the SPCA instead people.

Absolutely awesome place.. had my dog microchipped at a really good price. People are so friendly. Had beautiful dogs and cats for adoption. They have a lovely charity shop with lots of things to buy also second hand books. It is an animal charity who do lots of work in the townships but also need lots of funds to be able to help anyone in need. Please support them and adopt a pet instead of buying one at a petshop!

Great, an awesome group of people doing great work for the animals. BUT !!! On the dog walks on outreach days ALL DOGS MUST be on harnesses and NOT choke chains, it is a horrible way to walk a dog , they are called choke chains for a reason! They damage the esophagus, throat and blood vessels! As well as the vocal box!I will be donating harnesses to stop this happening.

Extremely helpful.

Pit Bull pups needed to be surrendered, due to owners not being able to feed 9 puppies. Another was handed in yesterday due to poor back yard breeding conditions. Found the place clean and the puppies, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and pigs happy, healthy and well looked after. The remaining 3 puppies not yet re-homed were happy, healthy and social. This place does home checks to ensure the animals go to good homes. Their adoption fees are reasonable taking into account sterilisation, inoculations and de-worming. Theres a bric a brac store which helps them raise funds. Donations and voluntaring welcome. Lots of books. Second hand clothing, furniture, frames, ornaments and toys. The people of the establishment have the animals interests and its people like these that make this world a better place.

This animal shelter is one of the busiest shelters I know. The people working and volunteering there absolutely have a passion for animals and thus making them very good in what they do.They are a non profit organisation and are always in need of donations for dog and cat food or either anything you can donate for them to sell in their shop to raise funds for medication,food and blankets,leashes or toys etc.,for the animals they help on a daily basis. If one has some sparetime to do some good,you can volunteer to spend an hour or so with the animals,play with them,walk them and just love them.

Friendly and helpfull. Up to date with all illnesses making the rounds and there helpfull suggestions on how to cope or vaccinate. They know whats best for all types of animals.

They have the most wonderful accommodation and play area for these beautiful fur kids. I have not seen such hard work and dedication from staff members and volunteers.
