Lovely place to have a sit down lunch. Clean, pretty and too many nice things to buy
Great stop on the N1 for fuel, food, supplies and other needs.Very clean toilets with baby changing area. Clean and tidy kids play area outside.Good service throughout the establishment.A bit on the expensive side with food and goods, but comparable to other petrol station shops.Great home made lamb pies (really tasty), but very disappointed that most of their other pie selection is bought in (not home made). The toasted cheese was terrible and had very little cheese on it...extremely dry.Coffee was really good and well brewed. Service with a smile...hence 4 stars.Sort out the toasties and pies and Ill happily give 5 stars. Please like the review (thumbs up icon below) if you found it useful!
I was hoping that with a name like 4 Sheeps there would be a greater menu of lamb that would nock your sockes off. Instead it was a medial meal with more menu pages for drinks tha meals. The staff was courteous albeit understaff. The meals were not overwhelming for the the price. The owners could really invest in sprucing the place up as it is a gold mine.
The is an absolute a must stop driving through Beaufort west. Famous for its legendary Karoo lamb, infect the food is very good no matter what dish you pick with Karoo hospitality and the shop downstairs is gorgeous, full of unique souvenir mostly locally produced. You can fill up and be on your way.
Nice place. Breakfast was good. Interesting items for sale in the deli. Very good selection of especially mutton and lamb for sale.
Nice little shop with gifts and something to eat and drink. Very friendly staff
A must! Cant wait to go again when we are in that areaCompliments to the chef. The lamb...5 stars
A place easily missed but not to be missed. The food in the café as well as the restaurant is great. The lamb pie is a must!
Best lamb sandwich!! And delicious chips...
Food was well prepared, I can recommend the lamb shank. Relaxed atmosphere in the Karoo.
Excellent service. Good karoo lamb. Good price
Abide to covid regulations, must have a mask upon entering & sanitize your hands.Great seating inside & outside. Can sit outside or inside & order your food. The waiting period is half an hour for your ordered food.Variety of dishes is on the menu.Great prices & great food. Also got cakes, cooldrinks & milkshakes.Yummy.You must try it if you are in the area.
If you love Lamb like me, theres a beautiful sandwich of Karoo Lamb with pouchée eggs that I recommend!!
Wow, awesome atmosphere, liplicking food and great service. Will recommend it to anyone to enjoy
Thanks Michelle for an excellent stay, great experience and friends made, see you soon.
We were there yesterday and today on our way to and back from Kimberley! Fantastic food and service. Can definately recommend this restaurant.
The take a way coffee was nice and their fresh Pies. The H and Cheese toasties were a bit dry.
Very goot quality products and friendly service just know you wil PAY for it
The meals, although using quality meats, we poorly prepared. The lamb curry was incredibly sweet and the ribs were fairly flavourless. They do have delicious cappuccinos though (Lavazza beans are used)
This place hass amizing food and wonderful service I highly recomend the 4sheep burger and capicino
We loved the lamb. Nicely cooked. Worth a visit.
Lovely traditional Karoo breakfast. Will definitely stop there again.
Defnitely a local attraction. Delicious pies and some rare articles to buy
Didnt visit the restaurant, but the take away coffee was very good. The shop is very nice 👌
Very best off the karoo-good food, great Cappachino
Best leg of lam. The lam is frozen, so ideal for your trip to your destination. It is succelent!
I do not recommend, if you want to enjoy food , really basic and oily.
Good staff good service, but pricey, but fast efficient friendly service
It was so great to have REAL food on the road! Breakfast was lovely. Thank you!
Foid and service really bad. Staff disinterested. Coffee good.
Service was a bit slow. But the food was delicious.
Great shop , professional service. Lavazza coffee was amazing
Great food , good value and good service
We always stop at 4 Sheep when passing through Beaufort West. Great selection of home items and the best Springbok dry wors that I have ever come across.
When I Googled restaurants in Beaufort West this one stood out, and I ended up eating there both of my nights in the town, the lamb shank was absolutely amazing.
The service was excellent. The drinks were delivered very promptly. The meal arrived without too long a wait, and was outstanding.Very well organized restaurant, all the while maintaining very high covid awareness and protocol.Ill be back, and can well recommend this spot as a great dining venue
The only stop I make when traveling and its the best.
Amazing coffee - most definitely worth a stop!
Quality meat.... appalling service.... terrible preparation... food taste horrible...There is a Spur across the road!
Great toasted sandwiches and a treasure trove for condiments, knick-knacks and gifts!
Nice stop. People always friendly. Nice gifts as well, but a bit pricey
Good coffee. Stop here for an excellent range of gifts.
A great little stop with the usual tourist traps (hand crafts, leather products, jams, preserves etc.) at very high prices. All I did was buy a pie (which was really good, truth be told), look around, and leave. Covid hygiene regulations are applied.
Lots of different lamb meals !Friendly service
For a quick stop on ones travels, this is perfect . Good breakfast and great service.
Very good eervice, food and friendly personnel.
Bathrooms are clean and friendly service. Pricing are a bit excessive, with meat prices higher than Gauteng.
Clean toilets and a nice place to stop at.
Very interesting and different products for sale. The lamb pie was delicious.
Friendly staff. Variety of gift and a great deli.
Nice stop, nice goodies, wonderful lamb pies.
Very nice stop on ones trip. They have very nice products. Leather, socks, all things sheep.Their food is nice. Staff very friendly. Bathrooms very clean.
Great service, great food!
Great variety of local procucts. Recommended stop!!
Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Nice rest stop on a long road trio
As always for the last 5 years, on our way to Potchefstroom, we stopped at 4 Sheep. Again the food was fantastic, good service and very frienxdy personnel.
Very nice Karoo cafe or deli for a quick pitstop. From biltong, 1/2 lamb packs to toys, and special olives etc. Good little oasis.
Excellent stop for a good homemade meal
Ive stopped at 4 Sheep in Beaufort West many times. Their olives are legendary and worth the high price.Perfect stop to get petrol, coffee (good), muffins, sandwiches, and baked goods plus deli items like jams, sweets, and chile sauce. Product line changes every year but the 4 Sheep Karroo olives remain the main reason to purchase.
Amazing Restaurant for all lambOrder lamb shank and mash enough for two people so good
Great coffee and lekker chunky toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwich! Yum!!
Fantastic shop to stop at when travelling through Beaufort West. They have an amazing coffee selection here, for your on the move fix. Grab some snacks and sweets for the reat of your journey!
Amazing breakfast, lovely pies and Barrista Coffee... Cool products
The food are very good. The pies are the best. Staff are friendly
Very bad. Cashed up 20 minutes before. When I wanted to order the rude woman told me, You cant order. I cashed up.I think the people should know about this.THROUGH INDEPENDENT NEWSPAPERS.You are getting too much credit for nothing but rudeness.
Impressive for a small town fooderie
Really cool shop! Unexpected!
Love this place. Elegance and quality of a Cape Town boutique. With the service and hospitality you can only get from the Karoo. And if for nothing else, the best barista coffee in town!
We were delighted to find this clean, well stocked store. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Enjoy our meals every time
Excellent food, great value. Service fast and friendly. Pop into the little shop on the ground floor to stock up on Rooibaard sauce.
Worst Tramazini ever. No ham (polony style pressed ham) and even after complaining that the cheese wasnt even melted it was then returned burnt with cheese still not molten. At least the coffee was good.
Great pitstop on trips to and from the Cape!
Beautiful goods, but only ltd clothing sizes
A little bit of everything with lovely artisinal products that will make you want to buy one of each.
Food was edible, but nothing to write home about.
Another great place if you are traveling between the North and the South.Great place to grab a meaty bite, if you traveling from Jozi to Cape Town or vice-versa.True Karoo lamb shanks or chops.O and do try the double think milkshake as well. Damn what a nice Milkshake 👌👏👍👍👍.Another thing go there when you lekker hungry because the portions are reasonably big.
Best lamb shank I have ever had. Great service
Good food. Good & friendly service. Fast service. Lovely experience.
Their Springbok pie meal is amazing!
Nice food good prices
Excellent lamb shank! Probably the best I’ve ever had.
