Its worth the trip from the other side of the M 2 East Freeway.Well Im back for round No 2 . The shop MILKY BAR AND THE COUNTRY PIE SHOP are open on a Sunday from 08 :00 - 1300 . Still the best for munchies or just a Cappuccino.

Purchased baked goodies that were stale...Courtesy call to the shop to advise accordingly not request a refund.I was verbally abused with a harsh tone and phone thrown down.I called back and same persisted.Utterly disappointed at such arrogance in a democratic South Africa.Shame on you!I have requested the health department to inspect your facility and that of your suppliers too.Disgraceful arrogance over a phone especially when gender base abuse is rampant in SA.... One can only read between the lines as how others are treated by you....I pity your associations....What goes around soon returns ten fold!

We had bought Jam Tarts from this store, later that night we found that the coconut in those tarts were stale and tasted terrible.When we called the next day to inform them of our experiences and to let him know because we knew there was another one on the shelf, the owner was especially rude, implied were lying.And he got the products on Wednesday 24th said his products have a 2 week shelf life but that packaging says 19 July expiry date.Not only were we mistreated as concerned customers but we were over charged at the store.

We as a family love Meat Pies, and the other Brands out there is charging a arm & a leg for a pie, this company is on the right track.....we stock our pies for the month and freeze it, we never had a bad pie or any other problem, and we stock for up to 3 weeks...….They have my full support.
