Meat section is always smelling bad. Very unfriendly staff. Endless tills yet only less than 5 tellers making the queues extremely unbearable. Management needs to find a way to get rid of the smell by the meat section. Even through the pandemic you can smell the horrendous smell though your mask.

Checkers need to pay more attention on their pricing charged at the till , Regards to their specials on sale! I dont buy fish items from checkers had numerous bad experiences. In general all good. Thank you

Good evening im so disappointed in the meat we got today once again the meat is off and its not the first time we had this problem with checkers meat last time we lost out big time and today i couldnt stand it and went to complain by nobody wanna listen and fix the problem and they ppl knows that its off yet they still keep in to sell to people and can u please look into the problem

I live in Brackenhurst and generally use the Brackenhurst Checkers, however yesterday I went to Dischem and decided to go to the Brackendowns Checkers as I was there. While loading various items in my trolley, I mistakenly put my cell phone down and forgot about it. When I got home some 30 minutes later and realised that it was gone, I called the phone that was answered. Thank goodness for Jerry Phiri who works in the store. He had seen it and taken it to the Manager and all he wanted for his effort was a thank you. Good to know that there are some honest people out there still. Thank you Checkers Brackendowns, and staff, and specifically Jerry Phiri for your honesty. Respect

Its a convenient store for surrounding neighborhoods, the shopping complex is almost always crowded because of insufficient parking space.

Produce not so great otherwise great service with a large variety of items and goods

They will mess up your sixty sixty delivery and then have an attitude about it. Ladys tone changed immediately when she realized she is speaking to me. A very small but popular shopping centre. A central shopping centre for the area with various small shops or outlets. It is very conveniently situated for the area. Checkers, Dis Chem and Woolworths food are the main attractions that brings the most feet to the centre. Nandos and Wimpy are the only two real restaurants with three other smaller takeaway outlets in the centre. Parking is very condensed and a huge problem that cannot be solved. Many vehicles have already been scratched or damaged in this parking area.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! We were pick pocketed today, by two ladies. And when we asked the manager for the footage, he stated their is none on that side of the store!!! Not helpful at all!We will rather drive 3kms further to go to Pick n Pay! 😡😡😡

As a security staff member, I find it extremely disturbing that there are blind spots for CCTV coverage within the Checkers store.This means that Checkers is a hotspot area for criminal syndicates as well as criminal a assailents. As a consumer, be very weary in going to this specific Checkers. Know that you are on your own as well because even the management of this checkers store is so unhelpful, accepting of the fact that this checkers is so vulnerable to attacks that any report seems like just another day at CheckersSafeguard your belongings and stay vigilant, because wee obviously cannot rely on the Checkers staff or management or its infrastructure.

Small complex but has good convenient stores, McDonalds just close by. On the other side of the road you have a couple of Vet hospitals

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PRICES AT THE TILL OR YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!Everytime I leave this store there is at least 1 item that has been incorrectly charged. 2 weeks ago I waited 15 min to get a refund of R7 many many items are priced and charged incorrectly

Never anyone in the butchery to help. Rest of the staff just dont care to even answer when asked a simple question. Pity its theist convenient store to shop at.

No answer no cards when power is off

So unfriendly! Can barely greet! Only person thats helpful is the manager! Went to draw my student funding (which I cannot withdraw at a atm!) Stood in the line for an hour and a half, to get to the front, barely greets and tells me their money is finished!!! They haded it out to Sassa members, can they not let one know they have 500 rand left so you can leave and go to a different store. But they are always so unfriendly!

Nice little centre with an array of shops and little restaurants. The checkers has extended hours all year round.The biltong shop never disappoints.Also, Asia House makes incredible sushi.

Very limited selection of items in stock especially when it comes to things such as cooldrinks. The Checkers in Brackenhurst is much better stocked and much more pleasant to shop at.Ive had issues trying to make cash at till withdrawals every time Ive visited this Checkers which has been extremely annoying. The last time I tried to make a cash at till withdrawal, the cashier just point blank refused.This is by far the worst Checkers store in the country and the manager should be fired.

I hate this shopping center with a passion there is no space for trucks but the center management does nothing Ive been driving around a dented car all because the center management wont do anything about the trucks and I had a coke truck that desided that the cars wont let me drive so he will take half my car with him to teach the cars a lesson, the shop owners there say they have spoken to them but they do nothing I now rather go up to the other checkers than go to that center nobody can wait they all im a hurry that atmosphere there is terable, if it was not for the security manager who came to help me coz I had this truck driver trying to intimidate me but the center management does not care about the shoppers in the center and there property..

One of my favourite shopping centres. they have nearly all the banks, Pick n Pay (including liquor store), PostNet, hair dressers, a pool shop, chemis and many more. I find everything I need there but unfortunately the parking is not so great. they are however building a multi storey parking garage which will make a huge difference.

Products and services good but being robbed twice in the store. Once at the till point paying — only half the cameras working and told its been like this for months. Surprise, surprise thats the tills being hit.

This Checkers is a glorified spaza shop . never enough tills open in peak time, shelves go empty at 4pm and dont get re-filled. Cold drink fridges are never cold bakery sucks...I can go on and on. I live right next door but prefer to ride to Spar for excellent service...

I moved to Brackenhurst 9 months ago and visit the centre 2 /3 times a week and can honestly state that I have found all the assistants very helpful and pleasant.

Great for banking, ample parking and short qs.

Westpack thats supposed to open @08h00 have not even been open by 08h00. The workers were standing outside the person that was ment to unlock was still nowhere. I went to do my business Alberton branch. Very poor.

The shops here are pretty cool but the parking lot is almost always over full with people driving around looking for parking

The shopping centre is good. All you need is in one centre.

Good spread of retailers (Woolworths, Checkers, Dischem). Pity about lack of parking space. Trying to park here in peak time is as dangerous as tossing a piece of meat into a bask of crocodiles.

Iv had to bad experience with this checkers first it was mince that was offI let it go because it could be a mistake now on the 8/04/2019 we purchased bacon that was expired on the 7/04/19And left on the shelfs to be sold it was smelling rotten after contacting coustomer care they said there sorry part and I was contacted by the manager who asked me to please come take a voucher when I get there it was a voucher for a R100 wow what a joke I just walked out wont be shopping there again
