The place closed prior to the 1st lockdown however the garden and swimming area was open during the heritage holiday for the farmers market. Rumor has it that the place will be reopeming soon

Lovely venue, market cold have been better advertised. I only heard of it via a WhatsApp message from my daughter 2 days ago.

They shouldnt be in the hospitality industry, they treat their dogs way better than their own guests. The rooms were untidy, there were leeches on the bathroom walls and their lapa area. My cousin was pregnant and we had to stand outside while waiting for our transport, they couldnt even let us sit in the lapa area while waiting. THE POOL WAS DISGUSTING, DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH ON THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

The place is terribly run, the owners are extremely rude to their guests. We were said to be trespassing the morning after we checked out, whilst waiting for our transport. Their dogs defecate everywhere, TERRIBLE , TERRIBLE PLACE. WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT TO MY WORST ENEMY! THEY SHOULD JUST BE SHUT DOWN, I THINK THERES A RACE FACTOR IN PLACE.

I Visited I Manor . Although municipal power was not working . The owners as well as the employees made us feel very comfortable. And when out of their way to accommodate us for a great meal. Quality food was prepared fast and efficient. promt service. Prices are reasonable . Thanks for your great customer service .

What a horrible experience we had at this lodge! We felt so unwelcome that we would not want to stay here again under any circumstances. Firstly, we couldnt locate the reception, and when we finally got attention from one of the workers, we were told to wait to be checked in by the owner(s) because apparently they were catching a nap. When they finally came, the owner was so unwelcoming, unfriendly and very casual, he wanted to pack us all (6) in two very small rooms, although we booked three rooms! He offered us the honeymoon suite, which unfortunately did not make up for the bad reception we recieved! Secondly, they were hosting a party there, the music was so loud and went on until 02:30 in the morning and some of us could not sleep at all! They should advertise this lodge as an after party lodge, not as a normal guest house. I think this is cheating because you book there to sleep, not to stay awake! Thirdly, we had arranged for breakfast but there was no information about this whatsoever, therefore we left without breakfast in the morning. Fourthly, I think the price is not good value for money, for example there are no coffee/tea facilities in the rooms!

The place is not clean.. Looks uncared for. The pool was terribly dirty n the kids insisted on swimming. It was dirty.. Thr garden on the outside was nice.. The place needs a lot of tlc

We are having a black New Years eve as the electricity is literally off and we are with 2 babies. The is no update about the situation from the owners. Worst experience.
