A must-visit when in Swellendam. Breakfast by a crackling fire in a gorgeous setting. The best Eggs Benedict in a very long time! Delicious roosterkoek, scones with homemade preserve and a very different omelette.... all served on beautiful crockery. We highly recommend this exquisite new gem.

What a lovely experience. Beautiful setting under the trees. Well spaced tables for social distancing. Awesome service from Emmanuel.Best of all however is the fact that they have vegan options on the menu! We had the chickpea omelette and mushroom & beetroot hummus toastie. Both out of this world.To drink we had homemade ginger beer and a lemon infused something or the other (cant remember the name). Super tasty and refreshing.Well be back for sure! 😁

What an awesome coffee shop/deli/restaurant in this beautiful town. On Saturdays they host a wonderful outdoor market which is right up there with the best Ive seen.Theres ample parking, wheelchair access, clean bathrooms and even a little curated shop with local produce and beautiful items.We did a quick takeaway coffee and some pastries (they looked too good to say no to). The only coffee shop we could find thats open on a Sunday.I would highly recommend this stop!

The owner is such a sweetheart and always makes sure to come and hear how your experience is and if there is more she can do for you. The staff are friendly amd the service is fast. Seating inside and outside. For a date idea take that someone special for a picnic by the river.We Would go back anytime!Excited for the up and coming saterday markets.

The food was delicious, fresh, innovative, the service just as amazing & the decor so stylish and beautiful.I loved my meal and even better were the gorgeous gifts and treats being sold. Again, innovative, interesting & delicious. A must try are the beetroot and choc chip rusks.I would travel far for this restaurant! Bravo- such a wonderful experience.

What an amazing little gem in the middle of Swellendam. A real little haven and kids-friendly restaurant after the hustle and bustle of city life. An amazing organic menu with multiple options. This quaint restaurant will definitely see us again.

Very nice outside atmosphere with trees for shade. The price is a bit high compared to competitors. With my visit, alot of menu items were out of stock.

We were told that we can only order Take Away as they were closing early. So we decided to have takeaway Smoothies and had a seat while waiting for our beverages. A few minutes later a family of 4 walked in, took a bench within plain view of where we were seated. And to our surprise their tea were served as dine in patrons in normal cups (not takeaway), while we were still waiting for our Smoothies. These people came in after us!Another couple walked in and were told the same, TAKEAWAY ONLY. The only conclusion in this scenario, people of colour are only allowed to order Takeway and white patrons can sit down.Change your name to WHITES ONLY

Wonderful. Coffee and fresh croissant were excellent. Sat under the trees and watched the world go by. Excellent service too.

The service and atmosphere was very good! But the menus pricing was incorrect, but we were charged extra. We were also charged for something we did not ask for.Edit: The croissants pricing was wrong and we were not asked if we want any garnish, it was just assumed so. So we had to pay more than we thought we would have to pay.

Spent my birthday in Swellendam and as a big city girl Grace+Merci was no disappointment for our family lunch. The menu is extensive enough for a light meal or to eat yourself into a stupor.

Menu was incorrect. Charged extra even though it was not stated so on the menu. But they do have really good customer service.If this happens to me again, I will never go there again!
