Authentic Mexican food, loved the variety and definitely recommended the chicken tacos and THE CHURROS!

Visited tonight for dinner with my family. On Wednesdays you can indulge in an all-you-can-eat special for just under R200pp. The food is freshly prepared, authentic and presented well. Hamish was an attentive, informative and speedy waiter (thank you). One star lost for the coordinator of the restaurant who missed my online booking specification to be seated inside as, upon arrival, the table reserved was on the outside patio.

Had an amazing time at Perron!Authentic Mexican, with loads of vegetarian options. The Margaritas are the real deal and the service was on fire! Thank you, Perron!Making the booking through Google was also a walk in the park! Well done!

The food was fantastic. Portion sizes small and drinks expensive for the size.

We came here Ina group of 10 people. Food took quite long even though the restaurant wasnt even half full. The food is actually very good but some dishes are very salty. I like the nachos in particular. The tachos are very good as well but Im not impressed in the size difference between soft and hard shell. The size of the hard shell tachos are half the size of of soft shells which feels like a rip-off because they cost the same. Not cheap for the food portions. Hopefully the next time I come back they will go easy on the salt.

Tequila tasters... nuff said.Well, not quite. That would undermine the fact that the food is an explosion of flavour, the jugs of frozen margarita with metal-straw-salt-rimmed tumblers hit the spot, and the vibrant staff glide past with a smile. Love this place!

Lovely restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere. Good for groups or dinner with a friend. The hostess and wait staff are friendly and helpful and the menu allows you to build your own Mexican dining experience. A little pricy though - especially since they recommend 2-3 of the tapas plates per person.Great selection of food, beers and wine and some traditional Mexican desserts to keep you entertained.Will definitely be going back in the future!

Had a great time at Perron. They have really good food and great service. Initially when we arrived they seemed to have lost our booking but this was sorted out quickly. They have a nice vibe and it was quite warm inside despite a cold and rainy night.The selection of beer is a bit limited but they have good wines and a wide selection of cocktails and tequila.They have great food although the options are more limited than other Mexican restaurants like La Rosa or Cafe Mexico. Food portions are much bigger though, and the suggestion of 2-3 plates per person could be a bit much.Would definitely be back!

We started off with drinks, the draft beer was cloudy, and the margarita was mostly syrup mix. We had some enjoyable dishes, but I was served off calamari tacos and the deep fried dishes tasted as if the oil was old. Not great. Not sure if they changed ownership, it used to be good. Service was friendly though.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Good Mexican Food. Shelton our waiter was brilliant. A variety of cocktails served by the glass or jar. Quite a noisy restaurant as the tables are close together.

This Mexican spot was very chilled on a Sunday, great staff and great service. We tried the very tasty tuna tostados that leave you wanting more, and the perfectly sweet Tres Leches cake which paired really well with some Leonista Reposado Black! Plenty parking at Hobart centre.

It was an ok kind of place definitely overated in my opnion...cold in winter even though they do have 2 big heaters...i think its just because the seatings are kind of basic cold chairs , no cushions etc.....I think it has to be because of the mexican theme...Ihave however lived and worked in mexico and not all places are like that...so if you looking for good food yes its good but if u want something cozy and serene then no......I also think they can brush up on their staff presentation ie..proper uniforms and grooming...they say presentation is vital in the food industry and the staff are the face and voice of any company, first impressions are lasting ones...food was great but would i do back ? No i would not...i would rather go to Salsa in Kaylami corner...

A great spot for Mexican Tapas! Some of our favourites were the sweet potato plate, flaky and crisp empanada and the arancini (fried balls of rice cooked in coconut milk and served with roasted apples in a light ginger syrup and a sprinkling of cinnamon). Avoid the pulled pork, very dry and uninspiring.

Ate the best burrito in my life at Perron. It was called the Veektor. Mamma mia!

Nice vibe, cozy. Highly recommend the popcorn chicken taco. They should add a nacho dish to their menu.

Absolutely amazing great food great service

Really creative decor with some creamy taste, u can taste a bit of Indian cuisine as well, price is reasonable, the feta cheese wasnt taste so fresh, but other than that, had a really good experience.

The food was absolutely amazing. Never enjoyed Mexican food so mush as I did here. My only problem is I am allergic to avo. I know. A problem most people never have unfortunately so I had a couple of bites with hidden ago in it.....needless to say I was in pain. But seriously though the food was still good. The dessert was crazy good. Yumm. Ill deffo recommend it to others. 👌🏾

Amazing food amazing ambience. But service not very happy with. They werent happy about our huge appetite 🤷and that was quite disappointing (supposed to be unlimited tacos, empanadas and quesadillas). Otherwise loved the food. Werent a big fan of prawns tacos, didnt taste great. Rest were excellent specially the Popeye empanada - its a must try and all the other tacos. 👌👌👌

They must have changed the cook cause it was horrible , returned our meal to the kitchen , it came under done & different dish presentation from what we are used to , take away the beans and a weird source that over took the dish , I have had great meals in the past , today it’s really horrible , we had the pork belly with the Mexican potatoes , these 2 items is enough for the meal with the jelopenos, nothing else is needed

The food was supposed to me MEXICAN FOOD..MEANING SPICY...I received a tacos that might have been made from Kuai..the churros were frozen. Absolute opposite of Mexican food...

Most disappointing experience ever, hair in the food on 2 different meals, table wasnt even nicely decorated for that was supposed to be a year end function and then after all on the outside stoop where the traffic is of the mall is so busy that we could not even hear each other talking, food was dry and not even nicely plated, really so disappointing.

Food is very good and the prices reasonable, with an extensive menu, with many tapas-like options, plenty of dishes for a good selection between us. Good wines, again reasonable. Atmosphere wasnt fantastic, a bit basic but had character. I would certainly recommend

We went to Perron at Hobart Centre for lunch on Wednesday 18th December and had the worst experience of our life. We have been there many times before but everything from the service to the food was a disaster. Twice we were brought the incorrect food and the so called manager was less than useless sitting at his laptop the entire time.

Best Mexican food in Bryanston. They offer a wide selection of dishes and the staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

A great Mexican restaurant! The menu says the servings are small but they really are huge! I ordered 3 tacos and they came out huge! The food and drinks are great with lots of options. A great warm place to go in winter to sit inside.

Some good food. Good tequila (the lists possibly need to be more descriptive).No smoking/vaping consideration though. It was raining, there was no awning/canopy to stand under outside. Had to walk in the rain to find shelter.

Service was amazing. Waitress was super helpful. Food was okay - considering the price, I personally expected more. Had 4 different servings of Tacos and found the pulled pork to be the most boring of the lot.

Found glass pieces in my burrito yesterday. Thank God I did not swallow. I’ve eaten here a few times before, and decided to have a takeaway Thompadre burrito. Never had an issue before and it was always tasty. But nearly breaking a tooth (and it could’ve been worse if I swallowed) is a good enough reason not to go back.

Nice place with nice food. We had the lamb Takos and they were small but richly filled and delicious. Nachos could be a bit more spicy but the guacamole was good.

Service very good. Food is good but not fantastic, somehow seemed to lack flavour or the Mexican punch you expect and I dont mean a spicy punch, I mean flavour. The service is the main attraction. I did have a good time and will go back.

Food was alright, if not pricy as we paid around R500 for some small snacks for twoWhat irked us is when one guy from the kitchen staff would loudly remark „Who would order these dishes? What are those people?Well, surprise guys, we understand the language you spoke 😅and do not really feel this is a winning attitude towards your customers 😒

Good food and good service

I am not very keen on Mexican food but I found myself at Perron and I must say tacos are my new favourite. The food was really amazing and service was great unless we were just lucky that we went there on a very quiet night.

Its not the largest restaurant but they use the space very well. The cocktails, tequila and shots were all quite decent but the food was a little underwhelming plus they didnt have nachos. Its criminal that a Mexican restaurant doesnt have nachos on their menu. All in all I enjoyed Perron but there are a few things that they could improve on.

One of my favourite restaurants. The food is divine, the service friendly, the tequila menu has to be tried - so make sure you uber! If you have nothing else, have the poppers, the pulled pork tacos, the fish tacos, and the churros. You wont regret it!

Food was great but service was extremely poor. Waiter had a dropped-lip throughout our meal. He then started clearing our table before we were done. Pretty rude. Slightly overpriced for what it is. Id rather go to Salsa if I had the choice.
