My go to Dischem ... Service is generally quick and staff are friendly. Easily find what I need when I need it. Well laid out

Kudos to Patricia and Francinah for being extremely patient and professional with me whilst searching for an old purchase of mine from the system. Truly impressed with these ladies. The 4 stars are for them.However, I think you can do away with your customer care section as the 2 ladies sitting there today at around 13h00 were very dismissive claiming that the system is down and that I should come tomorrow? I guess the system doesnt work @ entrance but work @exit.

Always a pleasant experience shopping at this store. Well stocked and set up cleverly for ease of shopping. Staff is really helpful and with good product knowledge.

Calls take forever to be answered. Called for checking if certain item in stock. Tried switchboard and pharmacy. putsts me through to pharmacy,Call not answered and then disconnected. Irritating repetative sales promo. Dichem please get your act together.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff member at the beauty and facewash section. Rude and arrogant. I would rather drive to mall of africa in future than to step foot in here again n be treated otherwise by such staff. Makes one wonder if they know what they are employed there for... as assistance to customers. . . Customer service in this country is always lacking ... sickening.

My pharmacy of choice

I needed some medicines and i m keep phoning dischem woodmead to find out about medicine if they have or not. and no 1 answering phone after long holding.please dischem people must know that there is lockdown going on so its not nice to go out for nothing. i mean what if i go to dischem and i dont find medicine. please fix your customer service. and must listen our president what he said. we have to quarantine our self.so please keep your customer service active so people dont have to come to your store for something which u might dont have in store.

Pharmacist Ishita Kaushal. I had gone to the wrong teller by accident, she abruptly says, I called you! So I apologized and went to her. I went in for my repeat prescription of Yasmin, which I was told that the consignment was hijacked.As a consumer I have a right to ask questions especially if the product I usually buy isnt available and I am being offered an alternative. I asked a simple question, Is this what you guys are telling people (the hijacking story in a way to get people to buy the Yasmin Plus) as I heard nothing of the hijacking. She got really angry I asked this and went looking for something. She offered no legitimate proof of this hijacking.She then went onto say that I need a new script, which I was shocked about as I had been there last month and on my box that was purchased last month it said repeat 3 out of 5 which means I still have 2 repeats. I had to ask her what was the difference between the PLUS and the normal Yasmin, which she then provided the difference. As a pharmacist and a professional this is something she should have already provided an explanation for. I told her I will take the PLUS, but she was insisting if I do not want it I do not have to take it and kept saying I need a new script.She shouted at me and I felt threatened and victimized and she then refused to help me. I have had bad reflux for the last 2 months have not been taking my pills every month and I thought a script is valid for 6 repeats and not 6 consecutive months, also I find it very cheeky to insist on a new prescription, rather should be judged on how many repeats, what happens if some one is sick and on antibiotics etc and cannot take the contraceptive for that period?I will have you know that as a Discovery health Vitality member I chose you as my main Pharmacy and I seriously need to rethink that decision as I am appalled and still shaky from my experience there. I am now being cheated of my repeat script, I do things legitimately and still getting threatened and victimized. I spend tons of money with you every month and to be treated so badly. I have never felt this way leaving any shop before and honestly going to rethink my choices and yes I do have choices.

+ve Covenient and pleasant staff. Improvement answering calls faster and faster processing resulting in less time in queues.-ve Healthy food section has both healthy and less healthy products. More focus on better proven healthy products required. Need to create trust in the healthy food section.= Appears to always be improving.

Bad customer service ever. You go to the service desk and there’s no one, you stand there and the workers they just look at you passing by no one was willing to assist me.

I went to collect my prescription for my daughter and the service I received from your pharmacist was so poor. I even had to ask how u need to give these to my daughter. Compared to the service I got from Greenstone when I went to fetch my own prescription, I didnt even have to ask how to take my medication. I was not happy at all with your service.

Mother of all Pharmacies. They practice the always right customer rule forever of which has a good oitcome because customers are satisfied 😌 but on a rather serious note, customer medication and healthcare products are forever in stock and are served with care and pride. Mother of Pharmacies.

Most horrible service ever to get a stupid injection for more than 2months. I am done with my mobthly shopping at this store thats how important the i jection was

I would like to add a very bad service and complaint about Dischem Pharmacy woodmead. i had a prescription to collect mediation from my doctor ,..... the guy tells me no keycare you pay for all medication if its not in the keycare list and certainly no cough syrup. ... i tell him it is not my first time using my medial aid to get medication over the counter that is impossible... the guy insist to say no... and that there are no records of such i leave for pick n pay saddened by this... i make a call and to my knowledge i can get the medicine on the list and they do have some of them... with 5 minutes left before they close i go back and the guy only insists on one antibiotic. I have acquired the list and there are cough syrup in the keycare list and a number of antibiotics and pain killers that were prescribed for me....I would like to have this guy evaluated as people will be turned away than receiving the service they deserve especially sick people in this matter....

Reason for not being open?

Good service, and decent stock. Could do with a revamp considering the amount of foot traffic this store gets.
