Im peeved off at Dischem. Last week inthe Sandton City branch I had a R100 item that was marked as a special on the shelves that was in the line of sight from the till. At the till point it scanned 7% higher. I asked for it to be corrected. A supervisor came, took the product, did not tell me how long it would take. Why was there not just an override made at the till. She walked away, without ever speaking to me, with the product. I waited and waited and then told the cashier to cancel everything I had bought and walked out of the store, because I had people waiting on me. Today a week later, I saw the same product also discounted in the Sunninghill branch. It scanned at the higher price. I asked the cashier to correct it. He said it would on the final totalling. I paid, he stuck my slip quick in the bag. I took it out and checked. No discount. I had paid the higher price. I queried this and he referred me to the client service counter, they wanted to refer me to another cashier who would correct their issue on my time. I walked out, having paid 7% more for a product. What a waste of time!!!!Why does Dischem not ensure that products that are advertised in store scan at the right price when they are put on special?Why did the supervisor in Sandton City not correct it a week ago when it was brought to her attention?Why did I have to suffer this ignorance twice, in different branches?

Large space and ample stock. Layout not as nice as some of the other stores which makes it feel a bit unfamiliar and challenging to find simple items

The staff are friendly. The pharmacy staff is another story. While they busy with you they have conversations with each other. I feel that they need to serve the customer first then have conversations after. Most annoying.

As most shops under this company good selection and friendly staff when you can find one. For once the cashiers are good and efficient. Nice shop good experience.

Today my son and I had antibody tests. Sr Brenda Mokoena ( the clinic Sr who was on duty around midday...)was accommodating, friendly and helpful. It is wonderful to see such an efficient, professional, pleasant person amidst this time of difficulty. Thank you Sr Brenda.

Nothing outstanding about the store; I had a collection of an online purchase. The staff helped me but they were not outstanding in their service. The brand is good in terms of its variety of products geared towards middle-class and above earners.

Disorganised and unhelpful staff.They would not dispense my medication because they could NOT read the doctors hand writing on the script and argued at me about the date of script issue. NEVER GOING BACK !!

My go to pharmacy. Soveena and her team are always willing to assist and go the extra mile which is rare these days. Appreciate their prompt deliveries and processing of scripts that are mailed to them. Keep up the good work ladies and gentlemen...

I was running late from work and called the shop...I spoke to a gentleman and told him that Im running late and might only make it there seconds before they close... he asked me what I was looking for and I explained.He then said he will arrange and leave the item for me at the front desk and I must not be worried about time he will stick around for a extra few minutes...To say the least I made it before closing time so luckily didnt have to make them wait for me... but as I walked into the shop he was ready with the item I needed in hand I could see he was looking out for someone and knew it was me...What am amazing ethic at this store its unbelievable... the young afrikaans mans name escapes my memory... but the deed will forever be remembered.

This is a review for Jabir Patel. I would like to thank Jabir for such outstanding service. My family will only come to dischem chilli on top just because of the excellnt service we receive from Jabir. He goes above and beyond. He has made sure our meds gets delivered to us so that we dont need to go out as my hubby is high risk.Thank you so much Jabir this is what we call outstanding service and I really hope that you get recognized by management for your hard work.

Large range of supplies, courteous staff, convenient. Once you understand where everything is you can usually find what youre looking for under 10m. My go to pharmacy.

One of my favorite Dis-cem branches to visit. Its always busy here but you dont have to wait long in the queue as the cashiers are very efficient. The staff on the floor is extremely helpful. If one just seem to be a little lost or confused they very quickly come to your rescue.The floor staff is well informed and knowledgeable on the different products, they know the difference of all the different products and assist you to make a well informed decision.All the staff, from security at the door, right through to the cashiers are always very friendly and helpful. One can tell a lot of time is spent on training staff on Customer service. It has paid off.

The worst service I have ever came across in the pharmaceutical industry. The incompetence is mind blowing, please don’t waste your time to support this branch. The pharmacy is super slow, the staff are not even competent to replay to an email – which off course they advised me to send my script to them. Unfortunately i have to give them a one star as there is option for non.

Always well stocked and service is always good with friendly staff.

APPRECIATION POST- On the 22nd November i went into Dischem after a dermatologist appointment and was given some local anesthetic. Upon arriving at The Dischem i was in alot of pain but stopped anyway to pick up my medication, only for the pain to get much worse, a lovely young lady by the name Arlene came to my aid, sat me down, opened a water while we waited for my medication to be dispensed, before the medication even hit the counter she asked for permission to open it up and give me my pain killers, she then sat with me until i was picked up, walked me to the door and wished me well. Never have i come across service of this nature.Arlene, we need more people like you in the service industry and i hope this review reaches the powers to be. God bless and thank you for your patience and calmness through my madness.I did visit her yesterday to show her i am much better and to thank her once again. She was thrilled to see me up and about.You are the reason i will keep supporting Dischem Chilli on Top.🤗

Good day, needed to see the sister at the clinic for an emergency this morning 09h30. I waited for an hour. No one knew where she was or when she will arrive. Dischem - if you advertise that you will have a sister on duty from nine o clock, kindly adhere to your own time schedule. So disappointed. I left just before ten with no joy.

Awesome store layout, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, outstanding service, huge variety of products. Much nicer than my local Dischem.

It is large and well stocked. Great variety and always has everything or will go the x-tra mile to source

Went to the clinic at the store to have my daughter vaccinated, the clinic sister did an excellent job, I was very impressed she did a better examination of my daughter then the pediatrician did and I paid way more at the pediatrician, lovely lady

Small store but they offer a good amount products considering the size. It is a bit of a pain trying to find things though, because sections arent labeled very well. The shelf prices are also very wrong. Ive been mislead a few times by products having the wrong price underneath them. Not the best dischem Ive been to.

This store is the worst they deliver but it is never available either 3 diffrent people has a dirfrent story or the pharmacist is so rude that you would rather not bother. Worst Dischem ever! Never have stock and always a diffrent story. The store has hours but its never convient for them. Some friendly staff. I have only been there once, and the pharmacist was helpful. A 3 because they didnt seem to agree on whether they could sell me the meds I wanted without a prescription.

What is the use of booking an appointment if you come on time and you are still required to wait as they don’t keep to the appointment times.

This is the most ridiculous discheme there is i have been kept on hold being transferred back and forth trying to get through to dispensary.if it wasnt for the fact that this is the only one close to me i would never make use of them again!!!! i have been on hold fo r10 minutes and no one answers.

You are never able to order you medication via telephone. Either no one is available or you hold on for ever and after 15 minutes just have to hang up.
