Very impress with Ampath at Fourways Life Hospital. Needed my PCR Covid test done this morning. Originally was going to Lancet but they could not guarantee results within 24 hrs. Went next door to Ampath and everything was efficient and quick. I should have my results in the next 24hrs but had them ready in 6hrs. Great work!

Two of us have covid and trying to get get bloods taken here. The nurses spend more time opening and closing the gate.. Surly you are able to hire a security guard that is able to do that and perhaps explain to everyone where to go and where to park. Its very badly run and people are getting aggressive and leaving their cars. There is a very simple solution.

I was a bit hesitant to go here because of the bad reviews. But I must say the nurses were very friendly and efficient and Im glad I didnt go out my way to drive to another centre because of the bad reviews.

You dont have a zero star rating! I arrived today at 7.01am holding a 5l urine bottle and Ampath forms. I was asked can I help You?I provided my urine sample and did the blood tests. They did nothing to write my name on the urine sample - not necessary they said. I insisted they write my name on it. I specifically asked 2 times, you need any more detail. No.I had left and got a call, you never gave us information on the urine sample? ??? Really!!! I then told them the time I started and ended, 24 hours to the second start to finish. The person did not sound like they understood me (not English 1st language person phoning me). I called back, lady answered and then yelled into the office who did the blood - then she didnt disconnect the call - I heard how rude your staff are. I will NEVER USE AMPATH AGAIN! How dare your staff make such rude statements. I arrived, was pleasant and left. Their capabilities clearly lacking and professionalism zero!!!

Had to do a pre hospital admission Covid test. The lady who administered the test was extremely rude and left me in tears she was so awful. People like that should not be near patients.

Rather use Lancet, Ampath has a policy not to share your test results with you. They will only send them to your doctor, which will cost you another consult. Moronic , avoid if you care about not wasting your time and money !

The Most unprofessional service imaginable for the Covid 19 test. Incorrect operating times. SLOW SLOW service. Definitely go somewhere else or dont travel out of the country. A classic example of exploiting the situation with zero client service.

My husband and I went in today for blood tests and the staff was completely busy with their own affairs and leave. We were then taken into the room to draw bloods by a trainee phlebotomist. He was asking us about medication my husband was taking and he could barely hear us and constantly asked us to spell the name of the medication due to leave arguments happening outside the room. He missed the vein completely and then I noticed that he was a trainee and asked him why wasnt he being supervised. He then called somebody else in who drew the blood. I felt like this was the most unprofessional lot of people that I have dealt with. Really disappointed!ot that he was was trainee and asked that he was supervised during this procedure of which he repli that the staff was busy. I asked him to get somebody to help him and he called for assistance and finally the blood was drawn. The staff was completely incompe

These people know nothing about customer service and the manager Pierre Le Roux is a bully. He seems to think its acceptable to scream at customers. I will never support a AMPATH again after this experience. life fourways hospital should remove them from their premises to be honest
