I was told by a doctor there to phone in and ask the medical reception to send me my script. I have just been holding on the phone listening to music for 16 minutes. Nobody answers the phone. And they are definitely open right now. The doctor is away. So what am I supposed to do now? Drive to them and risk Covid? Disgusting service Clicks Intercare Fourways.

Expensive doctors, bad diognoses/service.Asked if something was wrong because of my dark urine ...they assumed it was vitamins in my system, no test done...couple days later it turned out to be renal failure.

Intercares mission statement is We strive to become a leader in healthcare and are committed to consistent levels of excellence and professionalism in service delivery. My experience was of disservice, no attention or care to my health status or needs and professionalism is questionable (claiming for benefit they didnt provide, something that may need to be reported to the HPCSA)

Lovely convenient Rooms of doctors situated just opposite the newly renovated Mall of Fourways.Dr Grobbler is an excellent doctor and is also a urologist, my 5 year old son came for his circumcision the nursing staff the ladies at the receptionist are kind helpful and calm.Cash paying patients have lower rates which is awesome and the cost of the whole process was just so affordable the whole circumcision itself took about 45 min under local anesthetic.They have an optometrist , clicks pharmacy and Lazer studio all within the premisesLovely professional services.

Terrible service all round. zero communications after test. You have to follow up yourself.All about cramming as much people in as possible 15min 750bucks.I’m beyond disappointed no words, typical South African mentality…. Avoid

I went through to Dr. MPHO for a visit and to test for covid. He was 30min late to the apointment, so what is the actual use to make appointments at Intercare? When he finally arrived, looked at my covid form, said the nurse will come and test me, gave me partial scrip and said should I test positive, he will get in contact the following day. Its now been 4days, I left two messages, yet he hasnt come back to me. I need to go see another doctor now to get a proper script.

What a great service I received today.from the reception,the nurse stuff and a special thanks to DR Pinheiro.went in without an appointment,was in distress as my 2 year old was having a fever. I felt a lot better as I saw that my baby was in good hands.

Honestly one of the worst support staff I have experienced at a Private healthcare provider I have been to government hospitals and they were at least friendly compared to this practice.. couldn’t get through on landline to confirm the exact time of my appointment made a week earlier until, I went in and saw the work ethic of the ladies responsible for answering and taking the bookings, blatantly ignore the phone ringing busy eating at the desk/ generally unfriendly ladies with no smiles and a snide blonde lady. If you dare query anything with the more approachable lady- its met with irritated and annoyed tone. In the time I spent waiting, there was 1 other patient so they werent even busy with this lazy attitude.

It was very simple and quick to make the telephonic appointment. The ladies at reception were very nice and friendly. Dr. Selepe was on time and thorough with his examination and diagnosis of my injuries especially after having a car accident and the emergency rooms I’d been to prior were careless and treated my symptoms as minor. I was impressed by the facilities and the doctor was very professional, empathetic and phenomenal. I would recommend Intercare Fourways to anyone. Keep up the good work guys 🙂👍🏾

Disgusting service wouldnt see my baby as a walk in or even try accommodate hinetsky hate this place. Nevermind they are expensive and the staff always rude. Youd think they had some ethics.

Absolutely useless. Went to see Dr Frye for an injury. He sent me to Fourways for a scan and told me that he would get back to me once he received the results on the same day. It is a week later and I havent heard a word from him despite leaving messages. In the meantime Im hobbling around waiting to find out what the damage is. Ridiculous!

Most terrible service I have received in a while, couldn’t get through on landline for being on hold for over 30minutes, once coming in I could see why, the receptionists happily ignoring all calls. Rude tone and uninterested staff, no communication from any of the staff including doctors, they were not even busy.

Have seen a couple of doctors here over the past year. Recently they became a Discovery doctor, so my last two appointments were covered! Nurses are very helpful, and its nice to have the pharmacy right there so you can just get your script immediately. And i love the fact that you can book online! Booked in the middle of the night for an early morning appointment last time, and it worked a charm.

This was my first visit to the dentist at Intercare Fourways.I had a rather unpleasant experience with the accounts department.Upon arriving at reception I inquired whether CAMAF was accepted and whether my CAMAF plan will cover, to which the receiptionist confirmed. As a result of this confirmation, I went ahead with the appointment.A month or so later I got an email stating that my medical aid did not cover the amount as the doctor has charged double medical aid rates. Futhermore, the treatment was limited to an oral examination.Upon discussion with the practice manager I was informed that the practice is not contracted to any medical aid. This was not communicated to be by the receptionist when I inquired prior to my appointment.The practice needs to make patients aware UPFRONT that they are not contracted to a medical aid (be it a sign at the practice or published on their webiste). The practice manager made me aware of this by stating that it was in the terms and conditions that I had signed. Open and honest communication is lacking if you have to hide this in the fine print as opposed to notifying patients upfront before their appointment. This was more frustrating as I had asked about this before my appointment and was given the incorrect information by the receiptionists.Patients need to know upfront that their medical aids may not cover. Intercare Fourways rates are double CAMAF rates.I have decided to never go back to Intercare Fourways. The accounts department is stubborn and have a severe lack of understanding. Not to mention how ridiculously overpiced they are...After 7 months, still no response from the Intercare team. Speaks for itself...

I have only had expert and knowledgeable diagnosis from Dr. Christodoulu. She is a fantastic doctor with a great capacity in care and empathy towards her patients. She is my GP for 10+ years now and I would not go anywhere else.

The office of Dr Colin Frye is unpleasant, unfortunately the receptionist is extremely unprofessional and rude. Other patients and their details were discussed loudly while we and other patients were in the waiting room and also forgetting to make appointments and then calling and threatening to cancel operations because she forgot to inform us of an appointment that needed to be made.Youd think after making mistakes like these she would think to be friendlier but upon entering we immediately got attitude from the lady.

My family and I have been frequent patients at Intercare Fourways especially because we have young children. The doctors are fantastic and the support staff also wonderful.I have however had a very nasty experience with their accounts department. We made payment at the counter after a visit. The fee was a bit higher due to it having been a public holiday however my husband paid cash. I received a receipt from them that was stamped paid. I then got an email from the accounts department to tell me that we have an outstanding amount. I responded to the email and informed them that the amount was paid and sent the stamped invoice. The woman the said that they had escalated it to the IT department. I never got any feedback and the following month received another statement with the same amount saying that the amount was now in 60 days.After much back and fourth on the same matter they still insist that I need to prove that I have paid for the account. Today I finally gave up and paid the invoice. I have decided that I will NEVER go back to Intercare Fourways again. The harassment, stubbornness and lack of understanding that I have experienced from their accounts department has tarnished any good experience that I have had there.Its a pity cause their medical team is so invested.

Was so pleasantly surprised by the amazing service of this Intercare. Dr was knowledgable and friendly. Nurses were amazing and tried to make me as comfortable as possible, really recommend if you are in need of medical care.

We have left countless detailed messages with reception for their dental hygienist to call us back - since Aug! And between the 3 receptionists that they have answering the phone not one of them could give Yolande the message...I dont see how hard it is to get Yolande to call a parent about a specific procedure Yolande told us about. Its infuriating! Dropping this dentistry!

The normal doctors appointment (5 minutes) was charged at a 40% higher rate than Discovery would pay. So having Medical Aid, you still have to pay over the top rates.

Absolutely terrible experience. The doctor could not even remember who I was, then confused me with a diagnosis of another patient that she had diagnosed previously.Even After i explained to her that she was confusing me with one of her other patients she still did not. I then made an appointment with a doctor with a private practice who took the time to diagnose me correctly. Beware these doctors at these medicl centres have a guide line of 15 minutes per patient. The blessing in disguise is I now have found a doctor who spent over an hour carrying out the correct diagnosis for my symptons.. Will never go back to Fourways Intercare.

I took my 11 year old son there for a circumcision. 1.5 hours later I interrupted the doctor to take my son to emergency due to the extreme pain and distressed experienced. My son needed a revision circumcision the same day. What a horrific experience. Even though the scars have healed we are both still traumatised emotionally from the experience.

Rudest receptionist, Jenniffer (booking with Dr C Schuette at Dr A Thorius and association inc.) I have ever encountered. Unempathetic and has such an attitude. Was not interested in trying to listen or provide guidance, she merely wished to book the appointment.
