Its pretty big with a wide range of items mainly building or construction.My favorite part is the garden side , great variety of flowers and vegetables

The friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered in a hardware. Interacted with floor staff, tellers, managers and yard staff.. all went the extra mile and all extremely pleasant. Thank you!

Went passed today and got everything I needed. Warm hearty welcome at the door all the products I wanted and a few not on my list. Some good specials running and actually went back and got the garden edging that was on special. Staff in the garden section very helpful and happy to help one out. Will be using them a bit more often seems as they are close to were I stay.

We went looking for vegetables and herbs for the garden and were not disappointed. Good variety and well priced.

No one around to help me. Obviously you dont need my business ... so I left. Cheers and good riddence, I wont be back. And yes ...I did look for staff but you had no - one on the floor. So you lost out on R 23, 678.90....but hey...you can obviously afford it. Cheers...its no wonder your star rating is so low.

Loving the upgrades to the store. However, poor customer service. Staff not familiar with and lack knowledge on stocked items. Not very keen on being helpful either.

1 star revised to 5 stars!Resolved and with great service to satisfy the client: I went to the store to find resolution to my problem and I was met with a surprising number of attendees that were all in a helping attitude to resolve this problem and I will also be grateful to them for the extra time that was taken to help me even when they were closing the store.I have to eat my own words and give them a good pat on the back for the great service that salvaged the customer and I have to recommend them over the bigger stores in the area, Fourways where the unwillingness to help me was the biggest problem I had experienced, and the call centre in second place was impossible to get assistance from (Ella).Im satisfied with the service that I was given to resolve this issue1st post:I was ecstatic to see that the braai was on sale for a price that was precisely what I was looking to get it for since over a year ago. I came back to buy it and saw that the shelf was empty and it was obvious that I was too late. An assistant was there to help me just before I was going to leave and he pointed out that the pricing was a promotion for all the stores and he removed the price tag from the shelf which was even lower than the price on the bigger offer as seen in my picture. The price he was showing was R2700 exactly. He called the department assistant for assistance and he said he could bring a unit from another branch for me which I was excited about and I asked him to take my contact details to let me know when he received it. He insisted that he was not going to let it sell to anyone else and he said he is in charge of the department and he is in control of the process of the transfer process and receiving and dispatch of goods and I have to ask to see him when I get back in a few days. I returned to the store on 31 March and he couldnt be found by anyone in the store, and my enquiry was met with total ignorance and frustration. I decided to go to the other branch since I saw they had stock according to their online store stock availability. Then when I got to the other store, they were all unaware of the price of what I was explaining to them, and even the fact that I saw the price on the computer at cedar Square branch made no difference. The store staff insisted that the price is R4500 and I have to go back and speak with the assistant who had dealt with me previously. I was too late to go back so I called the switchboard and tried to lodge a complaint, but a lady by the name of Ella was extremely hurried to get off the phone to go home and she promised me that she would be back at 8am tomorrow and she will attend to the matter and call me back to resolve this issue. As I expected, no calls were received and I have no confidence that they will help me with this issue. I will be going to the store today for the last attempt at getting the item as I was promised, but I wont be holding my breath..

Much nicer Builders than Fourways, they dont always have stock though of everything. But as a whole for basics they are very helpful. You can also get your gas bottles refilled here which is super convenient.

How about helping people,instead of letting them wonder looking lost

A compact hardware shop with very helpful staff and a garden section.It stocks everything from artificial grass to lumbar, Bbath tubs and various light bulbs.It is situated in the not so popular part of the shopping centre, so there is a.ways parking space.

Most unhelpful staff. They are incompetent and badly trained. Will say anything to make a sale, but dont know what they are talking about. Go to Leroy Merlin, better selection and 100m away.

Have not been to this store for more than a year and have been pleasantly surprised to see the new floor design. I do believe the space between isles is extremely small, but I suppose you need more products in your store in anticipation of the competition opening just around the corner... Also pleasantly surprised by the one member of the staff asking me if I need help. Well done to you!As advise, maybe longer opening hours, like 07h00 - 20h00...

This builders needs to use their own stock to update their toilet. While clean it feels cheap and old.

You should not have to look, wait and ask for service. You should not have to look for sanitisor, it should be placed at entrance. Store neat, layout good, service at tills efficient..

Lack of management, very slow when it comes to gas refill. Times given for tank collection are always wrongs, resulting in waste of time.

You find what you need and you get the best quality at a bargain and it is easy to locate

Staff are not proactive nor do they they think ahead. You ask them what the process is to not waste time yet you still end up doing things twice. Its like the customers time is not important.

No sanitizing protocols in place and the pricing on some products is incorrect on the shelves, way more expensive at the till price. The staff were very helpful and friendly though. Seems you also now require a card to receive the Wednesday Pensioner Discount at all Builder’s stores.

My trip was in and out. I cannot commend much about the place or store.

This is no longer a normal builders express, it has been beautifully upgraded to a full builders now in my opinion, way more stock than before and a much larger variety of tools and other things, highly recommended!

Staff is friendly, they have a wide range of items, the service is just quite slow, especially refilling gas can take quite long, wated 45+minutes for this.

There is never enough staff in this place to help with anything. Asking them to help when you find them which is not easy they are tend to call someone else whom calls someone else so maybe by person four your migjt find what you want. Simply bad management.

To get a Grip sealer brand Brick sealant ,I had to visit the store twice,call around three times ( different executive),even though it was showing online and also after call from the store that they have two remaining .Someone named Bongwani was continuously refusing stock in shop floor even , and when I showed that Alex the guy had called me to confirm,he said he didnt know ...Why are you even in customer service then?There is a lack of communication between this staff and others it seems .Just thankful that there were others live enough in the store to sort.jr out as all nearby builders had none and I had the option to travel to Northgate or rivonia which was not possible due to workers at home .

Took a Cadac gas cylinder to be refilled. Went all the way home to find that they forgot to put the connector back on for the Cadac fitting.

Absolutely the worst service. Staff are rude and run away when they see someone who looks lost. If you ask them a question they act inconvenienced and disinterested. Nobody know where anything is situated or even familiar with the names of everyday tools, fittings and wares. Badly trained which just means bad management. I will never step foot in this joke of store. Support establishments who actually want your business.

Decent range, most notably they refill gas cylinders. Take note though, they do not refill standard cylinders like the standard 9kg.
