First time to this OB branch and so I returned for a second.A well deserved 5 star review.The restaurant is hygienic, fresh and well spaced out.There is the presence of a friendly, professional manager and the staff are calmly going about their work. When I asked if he was the manager, he graciously replied Im one of the managers - leadership in action.Enjoyed the food, the service was friendly and warm.Highly recommended.Items for improvement?This one is for the franchise overall: Bring back the original/previous salad dressing for the greek salad, it was refreshing, colourful and tasty. The new one is bland and dull to the eyes and taste.

Last experience wasnt so good. Usually lovely, fresh food. But went last Saturday and the chips were refried, the fish was stale and the muscles, one bite and the inside was awful. Felt like we had stale food all round on that platter for 2. Was put off.

Their seafood is delish. Friendly staff. Outside seating. Good value for money

We are in the middle of the third Covid 19 wave with hundreds of people dying daily, however the manager or owner of this establishment finds it incredibly funny that patrons walk around his outside space without the mandatory face masks and he himself does not ensure his own mask is even on when approaching tables. When I told him my thoughts his reply was that anyone is allowed his own opinion. With that attitude we felt completely vulnerable and unwelcome. Not the usual good experience we have had from other Ocean Baskets. We wont be back to this one. The staff were however fantastic and adhered to correct protocol.

Fantastic place, great service and the food for the price was absolutely delicious, real bang for your buck. We will be back again for sure.

One of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest Ocean Basket experiences I have ever had. Fantastic staff and incredibly good food! The decor and layout of the restaurant is also very nice! Will definitely be back and I will definitely recommend this restaurant!

This OB has been doing business for 16 years. Ive been visiting them from the start. I have never had a bad meal ever. The owner are hands on, and the staff well trained. Food always consistent. Try a little of Long Island Ice Tea.

Food was quite nice (regular OB food). Had a pasties de nata with coffee after dinner. Not recommended. Coffee way to strong and pasties de nata soggie and awful. Also we were a bit dissapointed that this branch closed quite early at 9ish on a Friday evening.

Atmosphere is chilled, service is conspicuous and the food is lovely.

Popped in for supper. Covid protocols adhered to. Waiter in top form. Manager friendly with smiles all around. Food was hot and fresh and very quickly served. Will definitely be eating there more often.

The service was great, but we were disappointed with the good quality. We enjoyed the squid heads and calamari, but everything else in my platter was average and needed more love and care. We have gone to our fair share of OBs and it was a let down in comparison.

We recently had an awesome meal there. The fish was very good and tasty. Have not been to an OB in a long while. Love the new colors and decor etc and recommend the calamari 3 ways.We had a lovely lunch in spite of load shedding.

Brightwater is currently under renovations but that wont affect you.Ocean Basket(Brightwater) is generally good & the staff are very polite & accommodating. Lots of seating inside & outside. It does get busy as its popular.

Since the upgrade of the center this restaurant seems to have shrunk in size, however they still make the best seafood platters available. I often used to ask for the pirates feast which was a off the menu dish consisting of prawns calamari, fish and halloumi cheese. Love popping past here for the odd office lunch. Plenty of safe parking.

Ocean basket feels like home from home. We often eat there the managers and staff know us and are so welcoming. The food is great. The place has been refurbished and looks really nice. Their prawn special is a must try.

Food is always good, havent had a bad meal there to date. Management is really on hand and always makes an effort to speak to their customers. Place is clean and usually efficient. Our last meal took quite a long time due to them being busy, and unfortunately they brought one meal early on, while the others took much longer. Turned out that plate was actually for another table but happened to be the same order.The waiter and management did come and explain and apologise for the mix up, which was appreciated.

I bought the prawns and fish combo take away just now after paying for the delivery and I got to the office there was only 1 fish not 2 as usual and I called to ask how it cam about and was told that I was given a big fish hence I got one, that is after paying 175 Rands of my money for a meal that I buy at the other branches and get 2 piece of fish .... I am bit disappointed with it really.but the food was fresh and tasty.
