This is a really good restaurant to go to to relax. I love the natural bushveld-type setting. I also love their filet forno pasta and their seasonal salad. The Cappuccinos are also perfect which is a sure sign of a good establishment!

My Best Friend Cousin and I were looking for a nice place that has a lovely outdoor and chilled ambience. Boom! Olive and Twist came to the rescue...Loved how its such a n easy going place, the food was really delicious, had a lovely Merlot and their Gin on tap was great!! The staff is also very friendly

Great place for anyone who wants a family friendly dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside seating under the trees. It is quiet and eqipped with a kiddies play area that has an assistant working there to look after the kids. The menu is slightly limited in variety, but everything is worth ordering. Coffees are recommended. Prices are fair and many people have functions here and if I ever host one again I will strongly consider having it here too. Phenomenal place to go to after a function at the Dome.

Good, hearty meals... lovely staff... beautiful location. Cant get any better than that if youre looking for a nice spot for dinner after work. Place could use a little more lighting in the parking area... we couldnt see a thing when we left.

Food was good, omly problem is how dangerous the kids play area was, multiple kids kept hurting them selfs on a green cable even complaining to the manager or waiters didnt help

Lovely garden setting and great food. Always a great venue for an afternoon get-together. Try the Pie of The Day or the fish n chips for an alternative from the usual (but consistently good) pizza and pasta menu.

Great family restaurant for casual dining situated in a forestry surrounding in the North Riding area close to Northgate Dome. They service breakfast, lunch and dinner.Service has been consistently excellent from the first time we visited 4 years ago. Staff well trained, polite, conducted themselves professionally and always greeted you with a warm welcome.Lots of seating from inside seating to a large covered wooden deck area to seating in the garden. They have a dedicated childrens play facilities.Great for groups and hosting of parties, which we had a lamb on the spit braai.Currently great specials pasta or pizza on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ R49.Try them you wont be sorry.

Due to a power outage my husband and I decided to explore a new lunch venue. I found Olive n Twist via Google.Although it was raining I found it a beautiful venue with lots of potential for gatherings in the future.The staff were attentive without intruding all the time.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.We will certainly be back.

We went there for tea and cake after my aunts memorial on the 9th of January. Staff, so kind and friendly, owner/ managers super accommodating. Sweet and savory platters were perfect, so many options and each prepared perfectly. A fantastic way to celebrate my aunts life

Great food at this hidden-away little place. Also, a nice place for a family with kids to dine at. They operate during loadshedding and although you cant get some warm beverages like cappuccinos, there is lots else to choose from (like the divine strawberry milkshakes)

This place has a very nice vibe to it. Makes you feel like you are in the middle of nature. The menu is very basic and the food was about a seven out of ten. Draft was out of stock on the day so a little disappointing

Good food. But on every occasion Ive visited the service has been very poor. The waiters disappear for long periods, are slow to react to peoples needs and the food takes more than an hour to arrive.

No more chickens clucking around (apparently they took them to the farm during lockdown) and the menu is much reduced. My favourite starter, the prawns in a parmesan sauce wasnt on the menu but they made it for me. Thank you for that. Just a pity that the prawns were overcooked. Edible though. Im not going to knock them because our food industry has taken a huge hammering with this COVID business and they need to get back on an even keel. Good luck Olive n Twist 🤗

Lovely park style restaurant.Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food here.Our kid really had a ball in the jungle gyms and play area which is quite large and well laid out. The child minders were amazing and totally took such great care of him and kept him entertained. He quickly got so used to them.All in all a nice relaxing place to get a bite and give the kids some play time

Its a Monday morning, sitting here at the car wash place to wash our 2 cars. Time 10:00 and NOT one Restaurant in this place is open. Thought to have a cup of coffee and some breakfast with my family here and the place is closed. A person would think that due to the holiday season these places will be open.... Very dissapointed.

What a wonderful bunch of people. I absolutely love this restaurant. Sometimes its very busy and not once did we had to wait long for our orders. From the owner to the chief, a winning team. The waiters will go out of the way to accommodate the client. Definitely one of the best restaurants.

Fabulous. .. the mother hen did not think so. We sat outside under beautiful trees. In a great setting and the Rooster and chickens came to say hullo. 30 min later the hen was still clucking at me. As our burger arrived we realised my chair back was in her way. SHE HAD LAID five eggs in there and was trying to get to them. Wow what an eye opener. We moved , she was quiet and we enjoyed the most scrumptious burgers. It was great. I believe there is live music there sometime in the week. Kids have a play area and yip its a cool place

Incredible garden atmosphere, with great food

Very tasty food, we had to tell the waiter a few times we just want to chat and then eat. Ordered a pudding which took too long, so cancelled it & then the waiter told us it takes about 15 minutes to prepare. Taught him to keep the customers informed. Stunning pictures on the wall and the restaurant is in a great surrounding.
