I do not need to hear the owner shouting at his staff in the kitchen (now my previous comment about staffing makes more sense) Further than that, as a vegetarian, I was appalled to receive a beef dish... The service was a little slow, but this was most probably due to the reduced in-house service due to Covid ..owners need to address this rather than just just reduce staff as the staff in attendance were fantastic, but clearly overworked...

Slow service tonight.Had 6 meals as takeaway and that took about 40 minutes to prepare.One of the meals had clearly been under the warming lamp too long as the chicken pieces were very overcooked and dry. With a biltong like consistency.Not what Id say is a plate worth R80.A bit disappointing.My meal the 5 spice noodles with beef was rather good. Fresh tasting with a generous amount of broth.So 3 stars for a could do better rating.

Really like the food here. I would have given them a five but the food always take a bit longer than what they say. Put an extra 5 - 10 minutes on to the preparation of the meal. They are starting to reduce their plastic footprint, but bring your own dishes if you are trying to get rid of the plastic. Staff are still quite unaware of need to reduce plastic, but are open to being provided with dishes to put food in.

They always seem so surprised to receive customers. Theyre ok. Food is good.

Simply Asia boskruin food quality is really bad. I ordered a stir fry chicken with carrots and broccoli. I was terrible and really dry. And my chicken didnt taste like chicken, I suspect it was duck because it was brown. I dont ordinarily eat duck as I do not like it. I will never order duck. I took a few bites and threw the rest away. The lady taking my order didnt know that you can order extra sauce. This is not the first time I have been extremely disappointed with the food and was willing to give them a chance because I love Thai food. But I dont think that I will support boskruin again.

Honestly sucks, service is terrible and waiting time is over an hour and a half 🙄They only had one waitress who told us that she is the only one working because the owner does not want to spend a lot of money - this is very unfair on her. We did not receive some of the things we ordered and waited an additional 40 minutes for the bill.All the other customers were also extremely unhappy. One man canceled his order because he had waited over an hour for a takeaway. All of the other tables also grew extremely frustrated and complained.It is important to note that when we ordered our food, we were the only ones in the restaurant and still waited 1,5 hours.This branch is ruining the reputation of Simply Asia and needs to be fixed.

Food excellent and much to choose from. Friendly staff. Lockdown affected what to drink and preparation time but well worth wait.

As a vegan Ive always loved the options Simply Asia provides. However, this branch in Boskruin is simply the worst. Aside from the miserable staff and really long waiting time, upon receiving the meal it was discovered that there were bits of chicken in the vegan meal. Dont dare use this branch if youre looking for vegan options because the unprofessionalism in the kitchen is quite clear, they dont respect the choices of the customer, they couldnt even avoid meat from ending up in the meal which means there must be all sorts of cross contamination happening behind closed doors. Very bad practice, there should be separate stations for what is vegan prepared and for what is prepared with meat. I wish I could end the complaint here but when the manager recieved the complaint he was just annoyed and indifferent. He promised to replace the meal with the vegan option, took down my address to deliver it to, but nobody arrived. Money was wasted and so was the food. Worst experience ever.

Firstly waited 2 hours to get my food, delay was from Uber eats which arrived cold.No utensils provided even though i asked for it. I ordered 3 meals, the soup was salty. My meal literally had 2 pieces of pepper and the kiddies meal waa tastless.Never ordering from this branch again!!

Stop by Simply Asia Boskruin to pick up some dinner. I ordered Chicken Satay, Corn Fritters and a Chicken Phad Thai ( which I requested spicy). Waited quit a while for my food and was told the chicken is Frozen so taking a while to cook ( I should have known right?)By far the absolute WORST Thai food I have ever had in my life. The Chicken Satay was straight up rubber, the corn fritters was soggy and drenched in oil (revolting to say the least)... and my traditional Phad Thai... It had absolutely no taste whatsoever, no seasoning , where’s the spice ?? It was as bland as a beige blouse... Mai Dai!! Mai aroi !!Clearly a place I would never EVER venture to again .You guys are taking our support for granted. Might as well close up shop if this is how you do food.

First option for low GI and/or vegetarian or meat dishes. Menu is versatile, including chicken, beef or veg options as well chilli intensity (mild, medium or hot 🔥). Restaurant has a good vibe and can get busy. Staff and management are helpful and friendly. Take out option is available as well.

Gilbert Chakanyuka’s keen enthusiasm to please is a breath of fresh air, he always gets our orders right, never disappoints, recalls us by name, and appreciates fully the ethical side of being vegan.We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gilbert and his team for making our very special family luncheon a huge success today. I always make it a point to end the year off with love and positive thought, in order to start the new one with the same good vibration.We highly recommend this establishment, if you are vegan, with good communication, you will have a marvelous meal here with all the extras! Absolutely terrible service! If I could you no stars I would. I specifically asked for chopsticks with my meal and I received no eating utensils. WHY? I didnt order Asian food just to eat it with a fork from my own kitchen drawer. I feel very disrespected. You just lost a regular. I cant believe this. Why must you hurt me this way? Excuse yourself. Simply Asia is a go-to favourite for me. I visited on a Sunday evening and was disappointed by the service and lack-lustre attitude of all staff. It wasnt full so i have no idea why it took over an hour to get my main to me. Further when the waiter brought out the soup it was cold, i sent it back to be re-heated (for a minute) and received it back 10 minutes later without a spoon, serviette or side plate. I will think twice before ordering Simply Asia again.

Ordered , ask for very mild. A friend of mine that likes very hot could not even enjoy the meal, it was so hot. When I called to complain they had all excuses . There was absolutely no attempt to even rectify my order.

After managers kept being changed the quality has dropped severely, a great store in a great location that just needs to well managed and effort put in

Hi my boyfriend and I visited here twice in 2 weeks and both times I was told I couldnt have something hot to drink because the machine isnt working.Kindly attend to resolving this issue as we love the amazing food and wouldnt want to have to go elsewhere just because of this.Im a cappuccino lover and I really looked forward to having one with my food at your restaurant but alas I was disappointed.How can you not be able to serve hot drinks......especially in winter?Also, while we were still enjoying our meal our waiter came up to us to ask us if we wanted the food as take away. We were still eating and felt rushed. There were only 3 tables occupied at the time(one of which was ours) which was midday Saturday.For reasons stipulated above, my five star rating has decreased to three.

Terrible service worst in the area bunch of crooks

Wont put a foot in this branch ever again; wasting 20-30 mins of my time waiting for dishes after the quoted collection time. This has now happened just once too many and quite clearly this poor experience is shared by a lot of others. The weak response to complaints obviously is token only; the owners clearly have no idea/interest to operate a place like this to any professional level. The Beyers branch at least has competence behind the counters/kitchen; will go there in future.

These guys are the best , always great service and the food is brilliantly prepared , its a once a week stop ... sometimes twice a week :-)

Not bad, good food for a quick takeout or sit down. It’s definitely improved since being taken over by new management and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice to sit outside on a hot summer day and relax over a delicious meal with family and friends. JGT

Hi I had sushi take away all was very dry not really impressed as I was so looking forward to it.

Great food and reasonably fast service but very friendly. Would definately recommend but they do tend to get busy and some of their dishes are a bit expensive.

Quite simply the worst quality ever from a franchise under this banner. Not only was the wait for me, the only customer on the premises, abysmal, but the dishes (614 & 622) contained prawns that could only be described as tiny baby shrimp. If this store is under new and better management I cant even begin to fathom how much worse it could have been!

Order food today as take away. At home we discovered the order was wrong even though the receipt and the marking on the box was listed correctly. The manager was very dismissive of my complaint and arrogant to say mistake like this happens. After taking our address to send the correct order he put the call down. When placing the order there already was a rush and no customer care, but I ignored that. Worst part is they were not even busy. We wont buy from there anymore purely for tyr service. Surely there should be better care around packaging and having order ready for collection. Manager sd he will replace the meal which took more 45mins to delivery the correct meal. Very disappointed!
