Great tasting food, with friendly staff.

I absolutely love the quality and taste of the food here. Pure perfection!Also had a friendly and helpful waiter who got our order down to a T which was awesome.Odd that I’m scoring my favorite restaurant 3 out of 5 but I had a few issues with the recent visit.I wouldn’t say I was disappointed but more concerned especially because I don’t have the opportunity to go often.The female toilet facilities lock is situated on the top area of the door which I found to be a little bit odd.We were also not given the complimentary/welcome snack. There was no music to add to the ambiance which was not a train smash but it would have been a nice touch.The garlic naan that was ordered was a little bit burnt so we asked for a new one. I couldn’t tell if it was the old one that had the burnt scrapped off or it was a new one that had to get scrapped off. Regardless it was still amazing and I appreciate the effort behind it.I do recommend this restaurant but I also recommend that the restaurant look into the little details that make customers want to keep coming back.

Horrible service and the food is not good at all . Bought a platter that is supposed to serve two but is barely enough for one. Gave me an old menu with outdated prices and when I brought it up nothing was done about it. I will never buy any food from there again.

Best naan bread and curry. Can definitely recommend a visit or for ordering take-outs.

A couple years ago they were the best but now all their dishes look and taste the same, the meat was dry and sauce was bland.

It was my first time trying out Indian cuisine. I ordered using the MrD app, and the food was very hot when it arrived. I ordered the mild chicken korma and the plain naan bread. The chicken korma is very rich in flavour, its hot but has a punch of sweetness at the end. Naan bread is very fresh. Delicious comfort food, at an affordable price. Good for gloomy cold weather. Oh, and the portions are enough for 3 servings

Order Chicken and Prawn Korma...too sweet, and was not enjoyed.No other Korma Ive ever had was so overly sweet. Seen as lesson learned, and wont return

Wow, what a hidden gem. Food & Service on the spot. I visited Tranna (Wonderboom Junction)on a Sunday afternoon with the family, what a treat. We had the Chicken Curry, Chicken Vindaloo, Beef Korma accompanied with 4 Chicken samosas and freshly made butter Naan (dont forget those yummy chutneys.) Chicken was so juicy and tender and the spices was so aromatic, loved every moment of our visit. Please note the following, food takes 30 min and up, as every dish is made fresh per order. And listen carefully to your waitron, their first lang. is not English, but they are super friendly and very pleasant to deal with.(Heads up: their coffee is extremly strong, its like drinking an expresso. My wife loved it...)

My favourite place to eat in the whole of Pretoria! Superb food. I regularly ordered (like weekly) the Chicken Korma and the Garlic Naan bread. Such an amazing balance of flavors, absolutely mouth watering.

Friendly service

The food is really nice.They offer terrible service to black clients. Black clients are not assisted in finding a table, they offer you a take away menu. You are requested to go over the counter to place your order.Different story all together when white clients come into the restaurant, they are recieved by waiters at the door, sat on a table and have their orders taken by the waiter/waitress.The staff does not know how to talk to clients.

Quality of food is awful. Ordered Bunny Chow takeaways, bread stale and mushy, stew distasteful with almost no flavoring and the potatoes in the stew isnt even fully cooked. Would never visit the restaurant again or recommend anyone else to go there.

Delicious Indian quisine.

Extremely poor service and mediocre food. Only 2 people serving, however, one watched cricket and drank juice while his colleague struggled to provide a service. Informed us he was the owner and was arrogant and dismissive when we pointed out their shortcomings. We try to support local businesses but will skip Tranna next time around :(

Friendly staff, good food and fast service.

Ordered a Lamb Briyani and Chicken curry and roti. The biryani was ok but the chicken curry was a big shocker. It had burnt scraps in it, lots of black bits in the curry that were not spices and the lid of the container had ink on the inside which was now in the curry. Highly disappointed.

This is my favourite restaurant. The service is always good and the food is divine, especially the chiken jal frejie and the chicken tikka massala. It saddens me that not more people are trying this restaurant. Thank you Tranna for the most excellent food and service! I will keep coming back and remain a loyal customer.
