Great food, absolutely terrible service - it took two hours for our food to arrive.

Horrible. Bolognese without any tomato in the sauce. Just a brown mass of minced meat. Raw potato chips. Burger bun must have been from last week. Burger way overcooked. Pizza undercooked. We waited 1,5 hours when only 3 tables was occupied. Stay away.

Nice to get a Carlsberg draught. Food was pretty good.

Burgers looked great but unfortunately the patties were pretty dry, should have come off just a few minutes earlier and would have been amazing. Great selection of different local and international beers.

Simple dishes such as burgers and fries and a seat outdoors on the terrace or even under the elevated golf driving range, with views over the golf course and valley. Unfortunately we were seated out of line of sight of the restaurant and had to telephone, twice, to get attention from the service personnel. Profuse apologies and all that, but it detracted from what was otherwise a laid back and pleasant stop.

Horrible, the place looks run down and the furniture outside has not been wiped in weeks. The burgers were disgusting to say the least...stale bread, too much salt too little garnish and dry overcooked meat.

One of the best hidden gems in Pretoria! A lovely, intimate, and relaxed venue. Grab a seat outside as the sun sets. Give the venison burger a try, and add sweet potato fries. They have a varying selection of craft beers (some imported). The staff are very friendly, and will make some good suggestions.

Perfect place to grab some burgers and craft beers, its normally a quiet place so you can actually hear the other people at your table. On Tuesdays you get 2 burgers for the price of 1. The best burgers in town.

Outstanding beer collection and the Wagyu beef burger is excellent. Friendly service and great views. Affordable and always fresh food. One of the very few places with alcohol free Weiss beer. Many other quality beers are on tap. Overall, high quality.

Very nice place. Has a very good view over Groenkloof nature reserve. Burgers are great. They also recently started making pizzas. Very good food. They also have half price drinks on Fridays.

Tonight we were the only table in the restaurant. We were four people ordering without any substitutions or preferences. Our orders were correctly billed but three were delivered incorrectly - one wrong side and one wrong meat order and both the meat orders properly well done when we ordered medium to rare (and were explicit about that!). The only waiter that was there was friendly but we only saw the manager at the start of the evening and then never again. And so DK Burger will never see us again. We have been away from Pretoria for a year and had great burgers in the past, so its sad to be disappointed like this now.

I had heard great things about this place so I wanted to give it a try. The burger was extremely salty, as was my salted caramel hot chocolate. It certainly had potential, but Ive never had a meal with so much salt (and I like salt!). Maybe the cook had a bad day. The onion rings and fries (chips) were excellent.

Was a little disappointed but will go back again and give them another chance. All the beer was warm apparently due to electricity problems they experienced yesterday but the waiter did at least warn us when we wanted to order. They also did not have Wagyu, which was my main reason for going, which apparently wasnt prepared due to the same electricity problems.

Our experience was greatly dissapointing. The beautiful view and nice Pretoria weather made up for a very dissapointing afternoon. Service was slow and waiter almost never checked on us. Burger was raw and after sending it back took ages to be returned. With only 5 craft beers on menu, I would hardly call it a craft beer restaurant.

We visited DK Burger on Wednesday 06.07.16.There were only a few people around (everybodys loss).We enjoyed the food, the service, the music.Exceptional service and food.Will visit again. - soon!

Really dissapointed :( Got the burger orrder wrong, so I had to wait an additional 20mins whilst my husband ate alone. No body was taking responsi ility and everyone was blaming eachother and making excuses for the wrong burger order being put through the kitchen (waiter did not write order down). Then my burger came (Get Stuffed Burger) with an overwhelming amount of blue cheese (my husband ended up finishing the burger for me as i could not eat that much blue cheese, and I LOVE blue cheese!!!) no fig or onion marmelade on burger to break the blue cheese :( Then yeah, not happy :(

Only one star because giving them a no star wasnt an option. Ordered a delivery with MrD. Restaurant only sent 3 burgers and 3 chips and not the 5 burgers and 5 chips which I ordered. I called them to enquire about the two missing burgers and chips, manager spoke to me in a very rude and aggressive manner and put the phone down.

Had the Wagyu and Chicken burgers.Not impressed at all....the chips were raw and I could not taste the beef between the overwhelming spices and herbs.Poor choice of bread for the burgers.We waited nearly an hour for our order.Place was empty on a Friday night.The only consilation was a good bottle of wine.

This restaurant is absolutely one of my favourite places to go eat, either with my friends or alone, the staff are amazing and the food is incredible, very quiet and pleasant experience with a very nice view!

It is a delight to sit outside and watch the sunset while enjoying one of their many craft beers. Burgers n chips are very tasty. Pizzas are divine. Home made malfa pudding is a definite as is their specialty dom pedro.

The service was extremely slow. My Fiance ordered a medium- rare Sirloin cut with cheese sause, witch she never received, the meat was blood dripping raw to a point that it would be dangerous to eat. Me and my friend called before hand to confirm that have the speciality Waguy beef burgers, which is quite expensive. We did receive it but as extremely dry, no flavour and just not what youd expect from the quality of meat Wagyu has to be. That was certainly our last visit to DK Burgers.

Ordered the Wagyu burger and it was most certainly not Wagyu. I was told that they remove the fat from the beef before they ground it (how on earth do you remove the fat from Wagyu?). It tasted off and there was absolutely no moisture in the patty at all, so very dry. I have Wagyu pattys at home that Im making this weekend and eaten Wagyu and that was most certainly not it! Very disappointed!

Onion rings, sweet potato fries and the pulled pork Burger is devine. the shakes are also something to try but the Caribbean dessert not so much...and there much room for improvement for the waiting staff.

Situated on the Waterkloof Golf Course grounds, this restaurant is the bistro side of the De Kloof Restaurant, where you can either sit inside or outside and enjoy the fresh air and view the lovely greens surrounding the building. They provide a large selection of craft beers; unique burgers; salads and what one could call pub food - but definitely pub food with class.The waiters and managers were very friendly and accommodating, seating us immediately and taking our orders.As we had selected this restaurant for Restaurant Week; we were provided with their menu which consisted of one starter; a choice between 3 main courses and then 2 deserts.The starter was a selection of some of their starters on their regular menu. The Beef tartar on melba toast; a chicken wing stuffed with gorgonzola & bacon as well as a samosas filled with pulled pork were all divine. Each bite providing a fresh taste sensation.For the main course we selected the Get Stuffed Burger which is a beef shin patty filled with gorgonzola & fig and served with rocket and onion marmalade. The beef shin was perfectly cooked; moist and was the ideal selection of meat to use with the stuffing. Also the Free-range Beef Fillet Burger, according to the menu, consists of grilled beef fillets strips, basil pesto and sundried tomato, parmesan shavings & balsamic reduction. The beef fillets strips turned out to be a stack of beef fillets which were grilled (again) to perfection which melted in your mouth, fitting perfectly with the other ingredients.Each burger was served with sweet potato fries and onion rings (made with real beer batter) on the side, also freshly prepared and very tasty.The greater selection of other dishes and designer burgers regular menu is definitely tantalizing to make us want to visit them again.
