Interesting venue and the sand makes it way cool. Kids love it. Seems to have a nice vibe. Almost hippie style, not fine dine type of place.We were here on a Sunday noon and about only 3-4 groups of people. Some were swimming in the splash pool.Looks like the venue also hosts events from looking at the décor, which btw is of a Mozambican atmosphere and feel. I bet Saturday night events would be awesome.Service were a bit slow, but willing. Must have been a new guy. T-bone was standard good. Eisbein had a lovely crackling, but a bit greasy. I didnt like the wax paper on the wood plate (board). Nice idea and looks interesting, but way unpractical since the juice from the T-bone caused it to flake and end up in pieces with every bite.Beer on tap was good and a bonus. Seems like some local craft brew.This place can seriously host a lot of people. Really a lot of tables; and each one outside settled in the sea sand! There is an indoor bar area with even more seats and tables!

We had so much fun for our company function. An absolute beach party nowhere near the sea.

The food was below average. Waiter was friendly but not wearing a mask. In fact none of the patrons wore masks.

The worst service I ever encountered...Imagine, I had to wait 45minute for a pizza 🍕 😩

Great vibe with different catering options from self catering to braai to buffet, including mossel potjie, veg potjie, curry chicken and beef potjies. Also some koeksusters to round it off. And lots of sand, so leave your shoes!

This is such an awesome place. The atmosphere is really chilled and the sand is epic. Kids love it too and its very family friendly until sunset when the kiddos should rather be at home where they should be.

Enjoyed the place. Good to relax. Bar, pool, good laid back facilities for a relaxing day.

Went out to celebrate a 11 year anniversary. What a disaster, the waiter called Happy was not helpfull and could not understand english. We waited an hour for one plate of ribs where it was supposed to be 4 different dishes. When bringing it another waiter came after that hour and said the order was only given then, by this time the one plate was cold. We paid for drinks which was also rung up wrongly and left. Music is too loud and horrible atmosphere. Photos look much nicer than the place itself. Will not be back!

Very average place with beach sand. Have to que for food and to bring you own drinks. Serve plain ordinary food.Not a wow for me. Will never be a option for me when I choose a place to dine

Great venue, perfect for large group-functions. Just wasnt a fan of the fun and games i.e. there was a coordinator who ran the whole show with activities reminiscent of a school-outing. Not my cup of tea, personally, yet Im sure a less in your face option could be discussed. Lovely themed venue though!

We did the bring and braai option. I wasnt completely satisfied as I felt we were being neglected and not given proper attention to. We had to go ask for a lot of things, which I felt was their responsibility. The lady that runs things was also a little rude and I did not appreciate that.Besides that the place is cool.

I was excited to visit Kaya beach, but was deeply dissatisfied. The food was tasteless and nothing special. The entertainment was average wit outdated music. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Nothing but a shebeen masquerading as a restaurant. Loud music until 23h00 to 00h00 with no regard to the communitys complaints.

Nuce place for a few beers and a game of pool pizza isnt bad at all

You can book the venue for Christmas parties, and bring your own DJ. Arrangements for catering are also done, place spacious and has that beach feel.
