The best Italian food I have eaten in the city of Pretoria! Great service and scrumptious food especially the pizza. I was blown away and the manager even took a photo of me and my boyfriend.

The waitress who served us was very friendly and efficient. I liked the atmosphere although the boxes with liquor stacked at the counter was a bit off-putting. The food is of good quality. Will visit again.

What a great manager...i was dining alone...but i feeled so at home...must say the service was a bit slow...but it was bysy and the waiter was so peofesional.

I visit the Restaurant every Friday, eat some ice cream, drink a cappuccino and take wonderful pizzas and steak home for the family to enjoy. Absolutely great service, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. I will continue to visit although it is further from my home than other restaurants.

Love the food, a friend recommended it and she couldnt have chosen better. The staff are friendly and helpful. Too much wonderful food to make specific recommendations but I simply love the creme brulee as a dessert, yummy. Plenty safe parking.

Eat in italian is such a versatile restaurant. It can be a romantic setting, friends get together, a family treat for the day, kiddies too. Its visually very appealing. Now the food.. The food is so so so tasty, whether youre eating pizza, pasta or just something meaty. The prices are good for the food that you get. I cant wait to go and enjoy a sitting again!

Most disappointing experience. First time ordering takeaways, order placed 18:43, collection time given 19:03, waited until 20:00 for our x1 pizza. Definitely not a place for Mr Delivery-to collect.

What a lovely dining experience, food is delicious, rich in flavour and presented beautifully. Cocktails, Craft Beers and other drinks are also available as well as milkshakes and other very decadent hot drinks. Fun family outing, kids have their own playground as well as a childminder and the option of building their own pizza! Recommended you call ahead for seating so you can arrange for a comfortable seating area and if you go in a larger than usual party of 5 or more. Clean restrooms and amazingly friendly and helpful waiters.

Best food and best pizza

What a precious find. Recommended by one of our good friends, we went in late on a Sunday evening. The kitchen was close to closing but they were so gracious to accommodate us. We were a party of 9 and all ordered different meals. And the kitchen delivered all with aplomb. The decor is chic and modern with real warmth and class. The kids play area is not very large but more than enough with different activities including sand art and video games. A great family restaurant but also well designed for a romantic evening out. Recommended for sure. A wide food and dessert menu.

Expect expensive drinks and expensive food that barely meets what you pay for. The atmosphere was good and the service acceptable with clean facilities. But for the price one would expect more.Proudly the home of the R165 ham and cheese salad pizza. Also known as the parm pizza.

My new favorite place! Perfect setting in the garden area for an intimate couples meal but at the same time it has an stunning interior with a typical happy Italian vibe. The food is phenomenal! Other than them not having a smoking area I wouldnt change a thing!

First time there - what a vibe! The place was packed as though it were month-end. That says something! Waiter was very sharp, and food was really tasty! You can taste that they are related to Villa San Giovanni. Wonderful experience, and high recommended!

Amazing food, amazing service and a very nice vib

A year ago hubby and i celebrated our anniversary in Central Italy. We were supposed to again celebrate it in Italy this year, the plan was to go Southern Italy this time, but due to CoVid, those plans went south... so tonight we decided to celebrate our 15th anniversary to the closest thing to Italy near us... Eat in Italian... Eating spagetti at home wouldve been way more sattisfying. We were greeted and seated by one of the waiters, and then ignored for 20 minutes by all of the waiters passing us, including the one who seated us. When we made a fuss about it, we got a good waiter, who informed us that the kitchen was about to close (at about 20:00) and that we had to order our food upon arrival of our drinks. We did so. One of the cocktails we ordered couldnt be made because one of the ingredients were out of stock (we were informed while waiting for the drinks, not immediately). The rest of his service was good and the starters arrived promptly and was quite tasty. There is, however, very little true Italian on their menu (giving something an Italian name doesnt make it Italian peeps) and the blaring Spanish Mexican music killed any Italian dreams... then the mains arrived and things went further south. The cabonara went scrambled eggs and the medium T-bone was over-well done. We sent it back and it came back medium rare with cold vegetables. We decided to just let it be since hubby already shared my scrambled eggs (supposed to be creamy carbonara) with me. The T-bone was also drenched in balsamic vinegar with no balance whatsoever. The only thing resembling the true Florentine steak we had in Florence, Italy, was the fact that both steaks were damn tough and quite bland. You can get a better steak just about anywhere else. We were determined to have a good evening though so we tried to order dessert, only to be informed that we couldnt since its too late (this was still before 21h00). In this year where the hospitality industry got a punch in the face, it is astonishing that a restaurant would be determined to be in bed before anyone else. The decor is pretty and could be construed as Italian, but the music were, as mentioned noisy Spanish and the ambience were clouded with too loud music and bad service. The manager did stop by our table twice and were really apologetic. The only true positive is that the portions were generous. Not recommended.

Very warm, homey and cosey environment.Perfect place for a business lunch or dinner with the family. They have a mini jungle gym and baby chairs availivle on request. They take reservations and they only open weekdays at 11am ... so dont try calling earlier...Weekends theyre open 08:00- 20:00(Sun) 21:00 (Fri-Sat)This place has mistey sprayers ... perfect cooling device on a typically boiling hot day in SA.Food is delish! -And being italian myself thats a compliment ... Well done!

I had breakfast there and will certainly go back. Adequate parking close to the entrance, food was very good. We sat to the open side and that was a good choice. It was maybe a few rand more than I expected, but still value for money.

This a wonderful, cozy and neat place to dine on food fit for the most experienced pallets. Always good service and excellent food. Would definely recommend this place to anybody... Caters for couples and families. You can even have takeaways as a bonus if you cant sit and eat!!!

Best in the west, (North) Pizza specialist restaurant

Very nice, opulent Italian gem. Only fault is after being served, waiters dont check in to ask if everything is alright.. I know some people dont mind this but Im one of those that like to be asked often if everything is in order. Great pasta, had the chicken and chourico rigatoni.. AMAZING!Definitely will be back to try out some more of their menu. Keep it up!

THE best Italian restaurant. Authentic, neat, clean. And amazing food. The waiters are trained and are so well informed and friendly. A great restaurant to have an intimate meal without annoying waiters that hover every 5 minutes.
