Cute Cafe restaurant. We had a breakfast and coffee. My dad loved the filter coffee so much- he had 3!Restaurant is suitated on the corner so is quite open and inviting. Situated in a one way so make sure you dont miss it.Menu pricing is fair but they have quote a few alcoholic beverages specials for those who are so inclined.Staff very friendly and helpful . Food was really fresh and filling. Place was not crowded which is a plus point

Best live bands with good staff and proper food

Great little shop with cool family vibe and really delicious pizza that comes fresh and fast. The Trinchado was my favourite. I liked the musical vibe this time as they supported a local music school doing a gig. Staff are friendly, quick, and attentive to guests - their suggestions are pretty great too.

Really not nice to witness....the Lockdown effect is devastating.I really feel for the staff and the owner of this restaurant.They are open for takeaways but it is not supported at all....when I arrived there was nobody....not one customer.I ordered and enjoyed my sandwich. Thanks.

I will not go there again. Pizzas were good but the House keeping REALLY needs an upgrade, take away containers stacked everywhere, dead pot plants, no sanitiser at the serving stations, waiters not wearing masks. Had to request ice for my soda, a glass for my bottled water, condiments with our order. Overall a negative experience

A great little restaurant. Menu is limited but has great LM styled dishes. Staff is attentive and the premises are well maintained. We had a fabulous lunch and have no hesitation in recomending it

Myself and a few friends came to Café Barcelona a few months ago during an event. We were very disappointed at the service. If you plan on coming to watch someone perform, make sure you eat before you come through. It is understandable to wait a while for your food during an event when there are 50 other patrons ordering at the same time, but to wait over an hour after ordering and to receive the food when the event is pretty much over is quite a letdown. I also could not order tap water as the tap water is brown (Not my words, but the waiters words). I wasnt particularly hungry that day and just wanted to order a plate of chips, which I had trouble ordering as it wasnt on the event menu even though you could order a burger and chips as a meal that event. I was then very surprised at the price of R50 for a small bowl of chips. We had arrived early for the event and with only 2 waitresses that day, our order was unfortunately one of the last ones to go through.

Ive been here a couple times and enjoyed myself every time. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Their burgers have been made with their own unique patty so theyre always fresh and very tasty.Love the vibe especially on a music night. Perfect for a quiet date with someone special

My favourite place to get lunch when I used to work across from there. Favourites were the pepper steak and chicken espetada. Friendly waiters and helpful staff

Robin Auld was a real pleasure. Im definitely a fan and will be back if he returns. The venue is good, food good. Attendance, though, was poor - quality offering, poor attendance = target audience not being understood/reached.

Probably one of the best places in Pretoria for watching casual or unplugged live shows. The venue is small and cosy.

I really enjoyed the food. A bit pricy for me. Nice open area There is a small stage for live entertainment. Small and cosy. The waitress did a fantastic job serving us the whole night and got everything wright. We really enjoyed every minute of the show the food and the atmosphere.

The new Café Barcelona is still a little bit of a secret (since the original closed quite some time ago), so enjoy it while it lasts. The original Barcelona is well known for showcasing (and probably kicking off the careers of) some very successful South African artists/bands and it is only a question of time before words comes out that Local Talent has a new home.

Very relaxed atmosphere and hreat personal service. The food is delicious and the portions are big. Very well priced and definately worth the money.We ordered a meatlovers pizza, mushroom burger, chicken salad, 2 Barcelona breakfasts and a lunch portion chicken prego and chips, 10 drinks and 1.5l water for R761. Definately worth every cent!

Food way below standard. Hardly took a bite of it. My wife and I visited on 1 May 2019. Koos Kombuis gave a live performance.We paid R300.00 and I asked the manager beforehand how long the performance will last.She replied an hour or 1.5 hours.Koos only performed for approximately 40 minutes if you take his talking between songs into consideration, then 30 minutes.He was more concerned about catching a flight back to Cape Town than performing.The restaurant also needs desperate maintenance i.e the airconditioner at the stage is falling apart and the ceiling is breaking up.The curtains on the stage immediately take away your appetite!!🤯
