Amazing Portuguese food. Lovely set up, amazing host.I would most definitely recommend this to anyone looking to explore a different culture and their food.

What happened on mother day? On making a reservation I was told there would be a set menu and A la Carte. The soup on the menu was not what we got. Our waiter did not know if there was dairy in the soup (or any dish for that matter). He did not know if the soup was part of the starter choice. We asked for a second bottle Allesverloren. They send someone to go and buy another bottle. It came opened (uncorked) to the table and tasted totally different. By the time we came to the main course we were told there was wine tasting on the terrace (where I booked to be seated) but we were seated indoors. The food was cold so was the coffee. We eventually started laughing as it was so ridiculous that it felt surreal. I will never advice anybody to go there for fine dining

**ZERO STARS** as the food was the worst I have ever had, the owner Jan Lampbrecht was the most rude person and was not accommodating at all. After trying to give us complementary desert because the food was so bad they actually charged us for the full amount and then he lay in front of the gate at the entrance as we refused to pay the full amount which he demanded. We decided to pay the bill and write it off as a bad experience because we had had enough of his antagonistic swearing at us. We then went to settle the bill much to our disgust, they then rang up an amount R780.00, when the actual bill was R728.00. Please heed this a warning, We will let everyone we know not to go to this establishment.
