Fantastic. You have got the most awesome staff. Each and everyone greeted us as we were led to our table. Havent seen that in years. Bruce our server knew the menu and was quick to assist us on any of our questions. Had a sense of humor and didnt seem to be making fake conversation and was genuinely attentive. Brilliant staff and amazing food. Ive had many different meals from steaks to burgers to schnitzel and they were all delicious!! As far as a well priced great meals go, its very hard to get better than Crawdaddys Waterglen.

A visit to Pretoria necessitates a visit to Crawdaddys Waterglen. My regular dish: Vietnamese Stir-fry. ( Chicken) or Saigon Stir-fry ( Beef). Excellent service and food.

After reading several good reviews of Crawdaddys Waterglen, we decided to have a family lunch there on a Saturday afternoon. The general restaurant is in need of maintenance, and doesnt instill the feeling of cleanliness. The waiter was extremely helpful and courteous, but was poorly dressed with shoes falling apart. The food was unfortunately bland and does certainly not correspond to the reviews posted. We ordered prawns, ribs, fish and chicken schnitzel. Bar the prawns, youre better off dining at the Spur, which is extremely sad. Waiter gets 5/5, the restaurant and the food 2/5

Great place. We were told that everything on the menu was excellent. The sea food and curries we had were all great. Service was great too. Large parking space outside. Nice setting inside and can get quite packed in evenings. Early reservations recommended!

The food at Crawdaddy’s is always excellent. My calamari was delicious and my girlfriend’s cordon bleu was so generous in size that I had to help her finish it. My only disappointment was that they did not stock my favorite non alcoholic beer - Becks Blue

Although it looks like a pub from the outside, it is the complete opposite. The hostess is always on point and seats guests as quick as possible l. I have been here twice and both times the servers were amazing with prompt service. The Food is amazing. The chicken curry was by far the best curry I have had in Pretoria. A well deserved 5 star for this restaurant.

We are regular customers at Crawdaddy`s Menlyn, because of a history of great food and great service, but one member of the kitchen staff spoiled our dining experience last night. He rang the bell between 10 and 20 times with each food order that came out of the kitchen. The manager apologised profusely but he elected not to resolve the complaint, by speaking to his staff member. Please invest more in the training of your male managers to resolve complaints.

Went for a late lunch, the service was friendly and fast, and we didnt wait for anything. The food is amazing here. I can recommend it, there is a extensive menu and you will definitely find something you like. Prices are compeditive and realistic.

Went there for Sunday lunch. This Crawdaddys is my favourite. The Rump is to die for and the ribs simply melt in your mouth. Best spinach and mash that I have tasted in any restaurant. Clarise, you are a star. You made our experience exceptional.

Visited June 2021Had a 600g T Bone steak with chips and stir fry. The steak was medium to rare as ordered. Food was great. Excellent service. For desert I had icecream and chocolate souce with a flake. The chocolate sauce was beautiful. I had a bottle of Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc, always a good choice. Price for the wine was a bit high but it was totally forgotten when I ordered the second bottle.I give them a BIG 5 out of 5.And they deliver how cool is that!

Always good value for money. Good food. The wait is worth it. Personally I like the Jalepeno Cheese steak or chicken schnitzel.

There was a large piece of sinew in my steak, that was half off my rump steak.

Pity we had such a bad experience..Ive heard such good things of the place..I ordered fillet and salad and what I recieved was sirloin.. The waiter offered to exchange it but we did not have the time to sit and wait for them to make me a new meal..My husband ordered the 750g deconstructed T-bone medium rare which first of all was definitely not 750g and it was brought to him on a sizzling hot plate..By the time he cut into it, it was medium well..Not impressed..I didnt touch my food and the waiter acted as if nothing was wrong..Essentially I just spent R140 on a meal which I gave to a homeless person sitting outside the restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere and amazing food - the waiter was very friendly but stretched a little thin on a busy night. I dropped one star due to the taxis and stragglers around the area which makes it feel a bit dodgy.

Casual atmosphere, with good service and good food. The chowders are a favourite, but their combo meals are also famous. Reasonable prices; not cheap but not a total rip off either. Expect about R200-R250 per person for a single course with drinks. Recommended.
