It was super crowded when we visited but that didnt negatively impact the service delivery nor quality of food received. The drinks menu is 👌🏽 and so are the cocktails on offer. There are great meals specials throughout the day, and the quesadillas definitely one of the best Ive had, ever!

Parrots will always be my go-to restaurant for great meals and drinks, especially for groups. Their breakfast menu have delicious items to choose from and all through the day you can get amazing food and drinks

The breakfast specials, are exactly that, specials. Portions are good, well priced and tasty. The coffee is amazing 👌🏽

The pizza and the shushi was delicious. I would ild definitely return for the shushi. Fresh as can be. Well done!

Everything Ive tried on the menu is fantastic, from drinks to mains to desserts. Wide range of great food, fantastic and engaging men and women. Lovely kids play area. Weatherproof night out! Also a lovely spot to be in with ambient light and lots of wooden furnishings.

I am from Port Elizabeth but been going to Parrots for 4 yrs. now. Fabulous place to eat & i ❤ Zeus!

Good atmosphere and very reasonable prices. If your not a smoker avoid the tables around the smoking area, the smell enters the restaurant when they open the door. I was disappointed with undercooked food, so unfortunately cannot give them 5 stars.

The atmosphere and setting is great. I had a seafood platter for 1 which I enjoyed besides their mussels. My mom enjoyed her mixed grill platter. My sister ordered their seafood pasta which wasnt that great, but overall Id definitely recommend the place, just be prepared by the waiters competing on serving you.

Service from waitress was bad and we had to give her 30 rands cause she said you guys dont pay a Normal salary/wages. She said she only gets paid from tips. But the food was nice

We ordered their flapjacks. The cream was really rich and good. However they only had one bottle of syrup for the whole restaurant and they kept taking it to tables. No variety of syrups. Just one maple syrup.

There are good waiters and bad waiters.When their quality of service was poor, I reduced the amount of tips.The waiter said she was running out of tips and asked for a tip. I was disappointed by the waiter who didnt even understand the meaning of the tip. I will never go to this store again.

Very nice place. The food is nice and tasty. My favorite restaurant so far... But why did they hire a lot of Zimbabweans? It worries me.

We ordered two omelets, they were very bland.nothing to rave about. Services was exceptionally slow today. But in general we like Parrots and would go back for breakfast.

I had a lovely meal at Parrots in Menlyn today. I relaxed with a chardonnay before my meal. I hadnt had wine since the ban. I enjoyed it soooooo much. Thank you.

Won’t recommend this place at all.Waited an hour maybe more for our food. Was over charged for our meal (R120 while on the menu it was around R82) so apparently we paid for a shared meal that was definitely NOT.

The food was ok, the wrap could use more flavor, like a proprietary sauce and less watery ingredients to make it less likely to become soggy.A confusing payment system feels like you are forced to pay the 10% tip (its written on slip that for 7 people or more pay 10%, but the waiter made us pay as a party of 4.)

It is not easy to meet all the requirements for every customer, especially if the client is vegan. The food over all was good, the chicken wrap and chips for my mother and the vegan avo salad for myself. The service could become better, the waitress didnt understand vegan options or vegan alternatives, she had to refer to another waiter and even so the meals should be able to change from vegetarian to vegan with only a few ingredient changes.I had a standard double espresso and my mother had a iced coffee with ice cream. We both enjoyed our drinks. Its nice that there is an actual parrot .

Fantastic food and comfortable, open area in Menlyn mall. Large variety of food and drinks on the menu. Try a meaty pizza with some hot sauce, you cant go wrong. Hot salted caramel is exquisite as well.

Beautiful restaurant... The waiters welcomed us warmly, the only reason I gave the 4 stars instead of 5 would be that. The table that we were sitting at wasnt fully clean, I saw some green leafs where I was sitting... But the overall experience was great.

My new favorite place for Seafood and ribs. The great chefs who prepares ones meal the best, awesome waiters with a sense of humor and knowledge of their menu. Really enjoyed the dinner with my wife and we are sure to be returning again and again to this restaurant.

Very good food and customer service. Kids play area seems to be favourite to my kids at Menlyn park mall.

8 August.Although we love coming to Parrots for sushi and cocktails, today we just popped in for a quick milkshake. Today the lady that served us was our hero. Here is the story...We chose a booth and sat down but moved up one booth because I had a headache and the ladies nexto us were having a great time and a bit too loud for my fragile brain. *Leaving my sunglasses on the seat *Our waitress was so so sweet and friendly, she noticed them brought my sunglasses to our new table.When we were done we left to go pick up a few groceries just across the walkway at Pick n Pay.  Our lovely waitress came running with husbands car keys. Apparently my  absent mindedness was contagious and hed left them in our booth.We are so grateful, it would have been a disaster if she didnt find us.I wish I remembered her name but when my head hurts, Batman could sit in the table nexto mine and I wouldnt even notice.Thank you so much again. You saved us from endless troubles.The  double thick milkshakes are also highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, but I didn’t really feel comfortable there. My overall impression was neither good nor bad and the food was neither expensive nor good value for money.

Nice restaurant in Menlyn Mall. Pasta was good and well flavoured. All meals came quickly and service was good. Only negative was the sneaky service charge added to bill for a table for 6. I will return to try the pizzas

Amazing food. I really recommend you go here to eat. The menu has tons of options so you dont have to buy one thing everytime. The food is delicious and prepared excellently. The restaurant looks and feels like a 5 star place. The experience is really great.

We went here just after the revamp and i must say the modern look makes the place feel much more appealing to the eye. They have an absolutely huge menu that will have something for everyone. Food came fast and service was great even on a busy morning.

Fantastic. Great atmosphere with a lot of space. After establishing the specials, youre exposed to a truly extensive menu, of which the food is just as good as it looks on the menu. 10/10 would recommend.

The restaurant has a nice vibe, and you mostly find older people.The food was delicious.I had the Nachos ( beef ) and my friend had pasta ( I don’t really remember the type ).I also had one of the shakers. It was passion fruit & mint, I highly recommend it.

Parrots Menlyn has been a childhood favourite but slowly finding the place unpleasant. The Service was undesirable. We waited an hour for our food, our order was incorrect and the food was cold The manager is rude to staff in front of customers. Dissapointed

I always enjoy my time at Parrots as they make you feel part of the family. Great value for money and delicious food. I would recommend the nachos or one of their baskets. Family friendly, they will provide baby chairs and great atmosphere.
