I took my fiancé here for his birthday and I am so glad that I did. The food was delicious, the service friendly, speedy and helpful and the atmosphere and decor was relaxed and sophisticated. I will definitely be back. We both loved it here

Unmistakably French set in a beautifully designed house and garden.Food was fantastic, we celebrated our anniversary and did not expect special attention but certainly got treated well.In all, good food, nice venue and great staff. Will be back.

Breathtaking experience. The chef personally comes and chats to you about the food being served. The 5 course meal was a culinary experience that reminds one of Paris. It is a bit expensive but worth the price for special occasions.

The location in an upmarket residential area is enhanced by the interesting architecture of the venue, which makes for a very warm and intimate setting.The staff are extremely professional and hospitable, which complements the superb authentic French cuisine. Our table each had different dishes, from starters through to desserts, and everyone sang the praises of the chef. Look out for their tasty treats between courses, and feel free to enquire about recommended wines for your choice of food, as you will be pleasantly surprised by results ...I would definitely rate this as one the top restaurants in Pretoria.

To me it was a bit dissapointing. We never saw a host. We had a willing and friendly waitress. The wine list is rather limited and the Cederberg wine we selected in the end was out of stock. We have a reasonable idea what to expect from French cuicine and in my opinion this was not great. Im sorry but I expected more.

When you walk in at the beautiful front door you will be greeted and escorted to your table. Book for evenings to avoid disappointment. After just a coffee we decided we will get married here. The location in Waterkloof depicts art in so many different ways that we enjoyed the decor and building as much as the food. Our dinner was impeccable and our guest also agreed. With a few adapted plates of food for diet specifications, it still looked and tasted wonderful.The service is good and leaves us surprised every time even with a group of nearly 50 guests. We would gladly eat there as often as we can, lunch or dinner, meet for business here or celebrate our wedding anniversary there in a few months.Thanks, Didier Sinisa, Princess and so many others that made our day so special.

What a lovely place. The service was great. The wine was great we chose a French Cote du Rhone 2016. Lunch is a set Menu. We shared . A firm favourite French Onion cheesy soup. Such a beautiful full bodied flavour. Hot fresh bread rolls. A platter with duck liver parfait, 2 terrines, smoked duck. Extremely tasty. Great textures and flavours. Mains was Fillet of Beef cooked to perfection on garlic fresh green beans with a lovely Bernaise sause and pom fritte. The desserts were fabulous. Meringue hazelnut mousse spun sugar lemon curd and lemon gel. What a great meal. The owners Dad was an architect so a very intersting space. Wine cellar . Two dining areas. A gorgeous little roof top garden. Loved this . Thank you for taking us on a tour. Great service.

The food was good but not as special as expected. Some of it lacked flavour, even salt, and the presentation was average. Service was friendly but overall a bit disappointed.

The service, cuisine and wine list were absolutely superb. Prices can drop 40% and be competitive.

We recently went with friends. Since we dont eat animal products and the online menue didnt promise many choices I called in about 7 hours in advance. The chef really went out of his way and surprised us with an outstanding 3 course menue. Great service and a personal note. Highly recommended!!

In a city full of commercial restaurants, this is really a little piece of culinary heaven. The setting is a perfect match for the restaurant, providing an intimate space to enjoy the authentic French creations. Each menu item was really bursting with flavor, the French onion soup and salted Caramel souffle are definitely not to be missed! This is a must visit if you are a true gourmand =)

Gourmet & Fine dining in the heart of our Capital City. Impressive, stylish, classy. The cream of the crop, the best come here to indulge. Food is art, I recommend you treat yourself & fall into this French fantasy.

For such an expensive place, the food is average. The ambiance is OK, not too bad. The service is decent. But the food is average. At those prices, I expect much better. The seats are also uncomfortable - the back rest is very low. Unfortunately, I wont be coming here again :/

Thank goodness I wasnt paying. It is not cheap! But once you realise that you are getting an authentic French haute cuisine experience in a unique architectural environment, the price becomes easier to swallow. Go here to impress.

Visited the eatery on the eve of Valentines day. We went for the 5 course meal. Had this before, a number of years ago.... so expectations were quite high!The staff was friendly ( especially our allocated waiter Farai, with the infectious smile 😁) and quickly ushered us to a table inside. We requested to sit outside and the structure probably being an old house, has small quaint balconies that create the ideal space for private dining but in a manner that still facilitates feeling part of the facility as they are not completely isolated. The idyllic view and ambience is also enhanced but the sound of the waterfall below the balcony with plenty of greenery (especially sight of the Egyptian reeds peaking at eye level of the balcony).The culinary journey commenced on a high with the first couple of courses. The onion soup I ordered was good so too the snails the missus had. This was followed by the Foie gras. The sides slightly overpowered the Foie gras with what seemed to be a gingery taste. For the mains we both ordered the Fillet. We waited a short while for the mains to arrive and consequently, some aspects of it were cold by the time it was presented.For dessert, my wife absolutely adores Cremè brulee, and that was the highlight of the evening (sharing is caring). The portion size could be on the larger side though....I had the poached pear which was overpowered by chocolate and other condiments on the plate. Let the star of the dish be the🌟 and shine as it should!Would still go back though! Fo sho....

Brasserie de Paris has proven itself as one of the best restaurants in South Africa. The staff are attentive , friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is intimate yet welcoming. Above all else ... The food is consistently incredible... I have yet to have a single dish that failed to live up to expectations ... Tucked away in the suburbs of pretoria Brasserie is a wonderful dining experience

We had a lovely evening until it came time to pay. The card machine was not working and the evening really went downhill from there. I had international visitors and the only suggestion from the absent manager was that they should organise to pay by EFT. I really would have thought that an upmarket restaurant would have a better ability to deal with this issue. Management need to re-think their processes for when a card machine does not function. You cannot have a front of house who does not have a back up plan. We were essentially stuck in the restaurant for more than 30 minutes with the management not having any other ideas than asking for an EFT.Fortunately we had enough cash between us to pay the bill.A really nice evening spoiled by bad management. I will not be returning soon. Take lots of cash with you.......... especially if you do not bank in South Africa.

One of the few restaurants to offer superb French cuisine. The wine selection is fantastic with some imported wines available.

Although Bastille day was a great idea and enjoyable, the venue disappointed greatly. Entering the festival around the house via a dilapidated pathway and unattended gardens is in my opinion not the best way of doing things.

Top notch in all areas, but you really cant expect anything else from them :)
