Michael and the team moved my old kitchen from Jhb to dbn. They were extremely well priced. In fact much lower than the other furniture companies. Quotation and pricing happend speedily. Truck came on time and left as scheduled. Being a shared load over a long distance, we scheduled unpacking the next day at noon. Truck arrived within scheduled time and completed off-loading before 4pm. The staff were very helpfull in taking boxes and furniture to every room and floor as we requested.

This is a small removals company which is always willing to help at a good price. Service is friendly, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. They have also provided support to charities we are involved in, at no cost.

We are very satisfied with the service we got from Michael from legend removals. We contacted them for a move in 5 days. The cost was the lowest by far for a cape to Pretoria move. His staff was early to the pick up and early to delivery. (24 hours earlier then expected). And further than that the owner Michael was very friendly and helpful. I over paid R1k to him by accident without realizing it. He contacted me about it and paid the amount back. That level of morality is unheard of in this world. Would recommend them again and again and reuse them for future moves.

I expected the move from JHB to CPT to be a stressful one but these guys took care of everything. Highly recommend these people. They went out of their way and comfort zone to load a double storey house. I arranged for lifting equipment as the furniture upstairs was too bulky to carry downstairs. They had to lower it from the balcony. At first I was worried but once I saw the staff working with great experience I was able to relax. They loaded with care and offloaded without breaking or bumping a single piece of furniture. Will definitely recommend anyone to make use of Legend removals. Communication was very good although you have to wait a little to get an answer via email. Michael always came back by phoning back or email as soon as possible. I understand it is a family business and Michael is out most times during the day. Would suggest they employ an office lady to handle phone calls immediately to make communication a little easier for the client.

Some furniture has arrived damaged and boxes and some items lost.Boxes were smashed and arrived in such a poor condition compared to when they were fetched.Rather invest a little more and avoid the risk of losing ur stuff or them arriving damaged

Legend Removals assisted with moving furniture from Pretoria to Cape Town. I had initially made contact in February and received feedback within the day of requesting the quote. When comparing to other transport companies, Legend Removals was the best priced for a professional moving company. I had moved the date for collection several times and throughout the process the office remained professional and calm. Lockdown was then implemented and I delayed the move. Upon restrictions being lifted, I contacted the office to continue with the process and changed my inventory list several times, the office remained professional throughout my countless changes.On the day of the move the team that collected furniture was friendly and professional. They all had masks and sanitized their hands before moving furniture. I received continuous feedback during the transit and upon delivery my brother found the team to be helpful and also commented that they adhered to all safety precautions. Should I need to move furniture again, I would definitely contact Legend Removals and I cannot fault their service.

I see a lot of people are happy with the service they got from Legend Removals. I certainly wasnt so Ill represent my experience with this moving company and you can decide if you want to roll the dice.Just some highlights of the experience:I had to pay an unexpected R4920 on the day of delivery for extra space used. They didnt collapse either of my tables as I asked, resulting in a large waste of space in the truck that I was charged for.After begrudgingly paying the amount, the truck only arrived at 18:30 even though I was assured that they could make the delivery date and I was flexible on the collection date. You really dont want to start unpacking at 20:30 after a long days drive.Visible damage to two of my tables because the movers didnt care to wrap the tables (or couch for that matter) inside the apartment. They carried them unprotected to the truck (banging multiple times around corners). They only wrapped them at the truck - damage done. When they unloaded my wifes solid hardwood table, they put it down directly on its corner and the single layer of bubble wrap obviously couldnt prevent damage to that corner - which is now nice and flat. Carelessness or incompetence, I cant decide.The packers wrapped ceramic things in paper, everything else is simply chucked in a box without a thought. We had photo albums and my wifes sheet music holder for her piano damaged because the packer dropped my rack of dumbells in at the top of the box. Again, I cant decide between carelessness or incompetence.Im dumbstruck how the company that had such great reviews on Google and HelloPeter is the same company that handled my move from Johannesburg to Cape Town. If my abysmal experience is the exception, then at least that exception is represented in this review

Charged for a full truck and trailer. Was advised that there is not enough space to load all of our property as initially agreed upon. We only realised that the truck was full of other peoples property and that only the trailer was used for our property once the truck arrived at the second address in the move from Pretoria to the South Coast. The owner then had audacity to quote additional charges to move the property this company had left at the house that is situated in Pretoria to the South Coast. As if this wasnt enough, the staff that were paid to move the property from the truck into the new house were extremely rude and gave the impression that they were doing us a favor to unload the property. It doesnt stop there. We gave the movers food and drinks just to be thanked by them by stealing our alchohol and three expensive fishing reels. I will never recommend this company nor will I ever make use of their services again.And the lies persist... The review stands and serves as notification to the public of what type of services they may expect from this company.

Communication needs to improve from the office. My calls where not answered or returned i did everything via email which is frustrating when you need a prompt response. The moving guys where quick and efficient.

I requested about 10 removal companies for quotes and received only two, of which Michael was the first to provide a quote as well as the cheapest by far. I could always reach Michael telephonically and by e-mail. Due to circumstances I had to increase the load volume on short notice and Michael was able to arrange the necessary with a very reasonable increase in the cost. Loading and off-loading went very smooth and professional. All furniture were handled with care and properly secured. Will definitely make use of Legend Removals again.

We recently used legend removals to transport all our personal belongings and furniture. We requested all risk insurance as the GTI is only limited. We received a horrifying phone call on the day we were expecting to receive our goods. We were informed that the load had burnt down. Initially there was some correspondence between us and the owner but it slowly stopped. We havent heard anything since. No insurance has paid out yet. Weve been waiting for over a month now. The owner completely ignores requested updates. In my opinion this is a criminal offence. He also, without notification, used a subcontractor. I would not recommend legend removals at all. We now sit with a house but no furniture to fill it. All our sentimental items went up in flames. We, to this day, still do not know how the fire started. We urge you to think twice before using legend removals.

One might think that having a booking well in advance and having a confirmed moving time would result in an efficient and timely move.ALAS! Like being stood up on a blind date, I had to phone Legend Removals to hear where they were. As they had not arrived or made contact half an hour after the agreed upon time. The level of professionalism is simply overwhelming.I was then informed via SMS that they were running late. They were 4 hours late. I could have watched the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy or hired a donkey cart to transport my possesions and have moved in by that time.Like vagabonds with no home or purpose, we had to move our furnitiute, Outside, in the garden. Sitting outside with all my furniture as the new tenants already arrived and moved in to our old house. And so we sat... Waiting... for 4 hours in the sun as we could not leave our furniture unattended.The truck finally arrived; a 8 ton truck instead of 3.5 tons. Despite having confirmed for a smaller truck. This created the dilemma as the new place was situated in an estate which only allowed up to 3.5 tons and as a result our truck would not be allowed to enter.After phoning Legend Removals to raise the issue, (and my voice) they assured us a smaller truck would be waiting at our new complex upon arrival. However this was no help at all as It only arrived 2 hours after we got there.The poor staff had to carry all our furniture from the gate to our house, about 300meters. We then decided to help them and we used our car to drive up and down anything that would fit inside the car and we carried as much as we could.The move was invoiced for 1-2 pm and the truck need only drive 10km to our new house. They were so late that we only had everything in the house after 8pm the evening!I would not recommend Legend Removals to anyone. I could have hired a trailer, donkey kart or a small village of people to carry my things and I would of been better off.
