I would not recommend this company at all. The prices seem very appealing, but its not worth saving those extra funds. We moved 17/09/2021 from Pretoria to the North West and these were just a few of our problems;1. We bought bubble wrap for the staff to assist in wrapping our large appliances as we were told this is not a problem, but they did their own thing and did not wrap half our appliances and when asked to do so they had an attitude about it2. We asked them to be careful with the fridge as it had no dents and scratches and we asked them to place one of our blankets first then wrap it, but they did not and it now has 3 huge round dents on the front.3. We had a 6m steel rod that was loaded in the truck and never offloaded so they took it with them?!4. We asked them to be careful with carrying our furniture in the new house as it was just freshly painted and they scratched all the walls!5. Our fragile boxes were just thrown down on its side and some were even upside down! Half our boxes have been badly damaged and broken with contents falling out everywhere due to their lack of care. We have not unpacked everything yet and fear what we will find6. They did not move half the furniture and appliances into the living spaces we asked them to put it which is apparently included in their services.7. They were disrespectful to my mother when she asked them to move the furniture to the correct areas, keep in mind she is 70 and they had no care as to how they spoke to her and they were also extremely rude to my pregnant wife which they walked out the way numerous times.8. When all the items did not fit on the truck they had no care and just stormed off to leave and left us with the problem of getting it there. Keep in mind they came to look at what all had to be loaded to quote on the appropriate size truck9. The staff asked for cool drinks which we gave and then we gave them meat and on top of it they wanted extra money when we asked them to be careful at the new place as the walls were freshly painted.10. The supervisor could hardly communicate or care as to how the boxed and furniture was loaded and off loaded.11. They dropped our bed down the stairs and did not care how they handled it at all!We also have a fish moth problem after they used some of their blankets to cover the furniture they did not want to wrap.The owner would have given us feedback on our problems after meeting with his staff, which did not happen.

Used Active Transport to move my (heavy) queen sized bed and over 20 boxes from Pretoria to Cape Town.They were by far the most reasonable quote and had amazing service, including very fast arrival in Cape Town.I would highly recommend them!

Horrible experience! Some items and boxes were not delivered. Had to phone them to enquire the whereabouts, only to be told that it was broken during the move and that they would fix it. This continued from March to October, and still no word from them. Eventually spoke to the director, Thea, who very rudely does not respond to emails. I am still waiting. Will not recommend.

They moved our very heavy garden table and chairs from Pretoria to Uvongo. The cost was very affordable and they were on time.

As a student with parents that live far away the idea of moving from my commune into my house was a scary task. I was all alone and had no idea how I would move my fridge, bed and boxes...Luckily I found Active Transport!!I called them up and in a few minutes everything was organized. All I had to do is list the items that needed to be moved and the time and day I needed them. They even dismantled my bigger items. At my new house they placed the items exactly where I wanted them and they set everything up again.All of this was done by the nicest movers and a really good price.Later I used Active Transport again to get a big wooden table and 8 chairs from Potchefstroom to Pretoria. It is a family heirloom and they delivered it with care.Thank you Active Transport!

Active Transport are not responding to emails, one is never certain if they received emails or they didnt.

Herewith my experience of Active Transport.This is the worst service I have found so far. Some of my furniture was damaged during transport from Pretoria to Stilfontein. Upon arrival, furniture was lying diagonally in the truck. My TV cabinet door broke. The glass is broken. My single beds leg is broken. Active transport now refuses to harm itself. I can give photos as proof. Staff push phone into human ear when trying to solve problem.
