Absolute nightmare! The plan we agreed with them was to pack up the house on Friday and move/unpack/reassemble all furniture into the new house (just down the road) on Saturday. But their workers didnt arrive until almost 11am each day and they didnt send enough people despite follow-up calls from both us and the movers, saying it wasnt adequate to remain on schedule. On Saturday night, our family, housekeeper, nanny and tenant were all looking for a hotel to stay in because our beds/linen werent yet ready in our new house.Even worse, on Sunday after we were supposed to have vacated the rental property, the new tenants and their moving company arrived before all of our stuff had even been disassembled packed/removed from the house!! The movers got in an argument with the new tenants and insults were thrown in both directions, very unprofessionally.Biddulphs was still unpacking on Monday, 2 days after the job shouldve been completed... and it was rushed, when them just leaving the unpacked boxes in random places and departing without reassembling everything or placing furniture/rugs properly. We even had to get a trailer and hire people to help with the move all weekend (to make up for Biddulophs incompetence)!!We ended up with some of the new tenants items being brought to our house, and a few big items left behind. To top it all off, the way that many items were packed was not at all acceptable. For instance, they just dumped all the toys out of well organized crates/boxes into one huge carton (see photos), which not only mixed everything up unnecessarily (causing 2 days of wasted time, sorting it out in the new house), but also many toys were damaged because no packing paper was used and heavy items were on top of light or fragile ones. Plus, several plastic storage crates were cracked/ruined because the movers carelessly stacked big ones inside smaller ones then wrapped them tightly when tapeWhat angers me the most is that we were told that they are among the most reputable moving companies in the area, so we paid a LOT more for their services than all other competitors quoted - - and they make you pay in full up front.Friends of ours used Biddulphs moved from Pretoria to Cape Town a week before our move and they also had a bad experience. Apparently, the packing job was horrible, with Biddulphs even putting planted pots/soil into big cartons that got flipped upside down.I highly regret using them and would STRONGLY advise anyone else to avoid contacting them!!!

Solly and his team were so amazing, handled our furniture with care and they were very quick. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were all very friendly. Might I just add, Sollys truck driving skills are out of this world. Well done Biddulphs!

Biddulphs is absolutely amazing.Not 1 issue. Excellent team. So helpful.On time to pack and collect at our Pretoria home and delivered 300 km further in Nelspruit. Unpacked and placed everything where it was shown to be.Will recommend them 100 times over.Keep up the excellent job.

I have used Biddulphs twice and I have been very satisfied with their service. The first time they packed all my goods and stored them and everything was there without any damage when they delivered later. The second time I used them to move from Pretoria to Cape Town. They provided an excellent service. They were communicative, helpful and went out of their way to provide me with special requirements. They are professional. I highly recommend them.

Worst experience of our families lives. They got their dates mixed up. Their confirmation email stated that we would load on Tuesday the 30th of March.By 10am when we called them, they said we are only loading the 31st.... They then corrected their mistake. However, it is now 15h00 - Still no truck has arrived at the loading adres.If we call the offices, they are absolutely useless!Shocking! Shocking! Shocking!

They answered the phone but said they cant help - didnt explain why 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ then hung up on me. Lol.

Very bad experience.International move to UK from Craighall Park, Johannesburg.Packing process was like babysitting. Constant questions from packers. Nice guys and not their fault.No management on site.We had to advise and repeat instructions daily on what was to be packed.Our Container arrived at 3pm on day of removal. No explanation given other than an admittance that this was not planned well.Given a meaningless lacklustre apology on site at around 5pm.The container left our house around 6pm.No advice on sailing date or arrival in UK despite assurance that this would be made available when the ship departed SA port.The first notice/update of our shipment was that it had cleared UK customs in London Gateway and was now incurring standing fees by the port. This update did not come from Biddulphs.The sales team are very competent and friendly.The operations and logistics team are unprofessional and of little help, which is where it counts.Biddulphs are happy to take your money but not to offer any help or advice afterwards.Avoid this company. Sell your stuff as there is no alternative.

Loading no problem . Off loading a major issue! Not enough staff and arriving 1 hrs late! No coms from company. I jad to a call them. I had to hire staff to assist!

This morning, December 21, I drove between George and Oudtshoorn behind two Biddulphs trucks with Johannesburg registration numbers. It was simply incredible to watch the drivers. Space between the trucks if I wanted to pass, drivers making smart decisions like not using the short slipway left uphill because there is a wobbling cyclist on the shoulder of the road ... The pre empt of every contingency ahead of time. Both trucks little lights were on even though it was day. The trucks used every opportunity on the pass to make other motorists pass safely. The last I saw of the trucks in my mirror was when we entered Oudtshoorn. They wanted to pull down and once again flash lights then hazards make sure they respect all traffic. So conscious, so caring, so in the now, so disciplined, so consistent it was a pleasure to see the men running.
